Hi Guys,

I recently decided to start using the EtherDelta exchange and have had a problem being able to actually fund the wallet. I bought some ethereum on localethereum and then cvreated a new wallet on etherdelta (you can also import but i didnt already have an ethereum wallet so i created a new one).

I then tried to sent ethereum from the wallet i created on etherdelta, to the actual etherdelta wallet where is gave me a processing message. I waited several hours but it still did not appear in my etherdelta wallet. When i looked on Etherscan, there is no record of the transaction and if i go to send ether again, i get the following error message

Any ideas guys, my Ether is stuck on the on-site wallet and cannot withdraw because it is decentralised.

in my account always get announcement from etherdelta if Iam to try transfer , deposit , withdraw my balance.

You tried to send an Ethereum transaction but there was an error. Make sure you have enough ETH in your "Wallet" column to pay for the gas fee. If you already have a pending transaction (enter your address on Etherscan to find out), please wait for it to confirm, or increase your "gas price" (in the upper right dropdown) and try again.

I think your problem is stemming from not changing the gas price which was defaulted at "4" gwei.
In the upper right - Select Account dropdown - you should have changed it to 32 gwei or above.

Current gas prices can be checked in the ethgasstation site.

I found a thread on Reddit of people experiencing this issue. Seems like some have come up with a solution.

Its not only your problem at the moment but the entire industry is likely having this issue. I don't know if it is a bunch of ICOs that are commencing today on Ethereum network or what but I have tried making 3 separate transactions on 3 separate websites for ERC20 tokens and all are waiting to be processed still. Be patient in due time it shall go through for you.

I'm still trading on Etherdelta. I just took altcoin out of it very normally. About two weeks ago I learned that Etherdelta was hijacked but was later corrected. However, Etherdelta's transaction was not very satisfactory because its interface was not nice and the response was not as fast as it used to. Hopefully Etherdelta will fix it in the near future.

I thought i am the only one facing this type of issue, but was surprised seen this deposit and withdrawal isn't working fine,  i even increase the number of gas i used but it was still the same issue i am facing.

me too , I'am using GAS PRICE 40 ( 0.01 ETH ) status failed.
I dont know why , to many people on Twitter etherdelta complain with developer etherdelta.
I'am to try 3X Using 40-46 GAS PRICE but all status is failed.

btw my friend yesterday used the gas price 120 gwei. and that very damage.

I tried yesterday to use etherdelta the site is lag. In order for you to deposit coin you have to increase the gas price. I tried to increase the gas price I set it to 60 gas price it work. For that I can deposit and withdraw, you know when we trade in etherdelta their fees is expensive. I hope they will resolved this problem.

The only problem people usually have with etherdelta is the gas price. Sometimes you do not have enough, other times you should spend more. The thing is EThereum is facing some problems this day and we do not have so many people talking about.

I've been trading in etherdelta which is really not ideal because of the lagging transaction and I always receive this error. The solution to this would be to increase the gas price until such time the transaction would went through. My highest so far is 80 Gwei because I wanted to get through my transaction and it is quite expensive. You would not mind it though if you have bigger amounts of transaction so for now it is not recommended to trade with low amount of coin because you may end up paying more in transaction fee than your profit.

Etherdelta tranaction is lag since last day and even if you increased the gwei, some times the transaction did not push through. I think this is due to some appls that heavily using the system and I dont know if the on going ICO has affected its system. We hope it will return back to norml tarding  with lower fees. :)

Ether network is slow now days , its no more cheap they charge 32 giwes atleast for each transfer you send. Some time it will accept the tranx with low gwies but possibility is high you will never confirm that transfer instend you can cancel that And create new one from metamask plugin.

I am also using etherdelta. Minimum fees is currently 0.008 Ether To transfer the funds Which is approximate 8 to 10$ as per current price.

Etherdelts will ask for Confirmation for each sale ,purchase. It will cost you more better to invest more than 1 Ether To Avoid Large fees on small transfers

i think the gas you used was very small, why don't you use gas station to check if you are using a required gas to send it out, Ed is not easy unlike before the gas to process transaction on it are too high these days.

Creating new wallet on etherdelta and then depositing on their ethereum address is confusing, they warn about the issue that could happen but seems you haven't noticed that while creating new wallet. Instead of depositing on etherdelta address, you should prefer to import private key. Some members don't feel safe with that but they really never access your wallet. I have many assets, ethereum in my wallet,  my wallet is safe with etherdelta

I have same problem in etherdelta, very difficult to make transactions for now, there is always a notice to increase the fee / gas price. And after i increase my gas still no change, still slow for deposit or trade.

i cant even use etherdelta, for some reason it does not load up and im note sure if problems come from my end or etherdeltas

I think , this happens because the server ethereum current overload . Not only etherdelta , some exchange-based ethereum had trouble.

The rate at which gas are wasted on ed these days calls for concern. I tried to deposit on ed and wasted around $30 doing the deposit of a thing. Early last year ed was not given problem i was comfortable using ed.

so maybe this is your problem dude its better to make a ticket to contact the support for more informations to your problem.

I still use etherdelta to be exchanged even though it requires a lot of gas, many coins don't go into the central market and prefer to build traffic volume in small markets like this, but even if it seems simple, they have enough traders to buy very good coins. for deposit problems, you only need to go to the chat room because the developer is very active in providing solutions and communicating.

Me too facing same problem even with 24 gas, and i am really fed up with them no user friendly ui and now this

It means that it's on process but the network is just too congested, just try to check it again the other day and you'll see it's already confirmed. It seems many had experienced this and ED now is having a hard time and I'm actually planning to move all my coins to some exchanges that's have much more good service. You know it's really frustrating that when you see your coin is rising yet you can't sell it because the network is busy.  :-\

everyone facing diffrent problem but seriously i dont face any problem anywhere i think you have some mistake, or if you seriously facing this then contact admin.

I did already transferred into another exchange because ED is too much hassle for me not only on the errors but also to its interface,it stresses me a lot. :-\ .Talking on the situation i have experienced this stuff even though you set out higher gas price 50+ gwei but still that error shows which you would really force to put higher gas which i really did try such thing and it works.

Also today I received a lot of feedback from friends about Etherdelta transactions and I also confirmed this. Although Etherdelta is not an official trading platform designated by Ethereum, most of the tokens issued after the ICO are listed and traded on Etherdelta so it has caused a considerable delay on the page. This. But things will be fixed soon, as there have been many times before this happened to ETherdelta.

Now etherdelta.com is a painful for Deposit and Withdraw. It take much time for transaction. Though it is charged gas price huge than before. Some times it charged gas price 21 and sometimes 31+ . I think in few days it will recovered it's problem. Because it is very popular exchenger then other and many token depend on it.  

Yes, i've tried it that too setting up to higher price of 50 gwei but still the error shows again so i put another gas price to make it higher up to 60 gwei so that time i really did it to make it work. Just keep it up trying putting your gas limits in higher price. This will not make you harm or lose your coin when you transact etherdelta.

Do not use etherdelta, this is the most shitty exchange that has ever been created. Of course that if you want to lose money, just put your money in there. Otherwise, just avoid it, avoid it like if it was the plague.

Not a suggested things to do anytime. It might show some errors for sometime but later on when the transaction comes through sometimes the transaction failed and those fees are completely gone and been reduced into your balance which do really suck.This is why i dont like to use up delta anymore on my major trades but yet i do just visit when i do sell out some erc20 tokens on where it can be only found on ED.

Etherdelta is basically where you can add custom Token and then trade without that Token that must be listed on that floor to trade. It also raises many undesirable issues. So the advice is that you should trade on the floor rather than because of the high profit that trading on the floor because of the large risk.

Why'd be here, and make deposits. I don't like ED, because for me it's not that secure. Better to have MEW.

 i sent tokens 3 days ago via metamask, it says success but the token still on my MEW.  ;D the worse is, the transaction fee was deducted on my account.

I also experienced in this kind of problem, I also got my ethereum coin stuck in the ethereum wallet.  :(

Don't use etherdelta. There's no admins, it was "hacked" and a bunch of people lost money, and it's crazy slow. You want to give trading fees to these guys?

Etherdelta requires more eth to deposit, there is a fee when you transfer funds, maybe the amount you transferred is not sufficient to cover the fee, therefore resulting error message. i think for us to transfer to etherdelta, we must have at least .01 eth. maybe the load of transactions as it accommodate many request put the site down, we should wait for further announcement from the admin of that site.

Always you need to take the price for Gas!
And indicate a smaller amount, then everything will go without any problems)

From the same time I had the same problem, I had a low gas fee, the value of gwei i had 4. So i increased to a higher value something over 30.

Although Etherdelta is the worst commercial site I have ever seen, I still have to use it often because it's a commercial site where most of the tokens sold after the ICO are commercially available. With high transaction costs, the system is slow and the interface is very bad for users who feel uncomfortable with Etherdelta. However, I have not had a problem with the Etherdelta deposit problem, which is often lagged on the merchant site, and you can either wait or send support to Etherdelta management.

They mentioned that already you have a pending tx or you don't have enough eth for gas fee

I think it is an error/problem occur during deposit because of not enough ether balance to cover the gas fee.

yes i encountered that error thats why i hate to trade in etherdelta and never used it againg because there's a chance that your account will hack like for the fast few months theres a lot of people complaining that they have been hacked in Etherdelta

When make deposit in any exchange for the better just try small amount first, and after all working find  and then deposit all money. I always doing that so i never get big problem with make deposit or withdrawal. Etherdelta does not have good customer support, for decentralized exchange its better to use Idex market because they has telegram official group for customer support and make easy to contact their admin.

It's a decentralized floor, but they're quite safe, as far as I'm concerned, and I use them, I know they're safer for you. and easy to use. low cost.

In my own personal research the etherdelta users suffers in lost from their wallt deposit wherein the value of their investments decreases and nots its value which is really suspicious and should be solve.

the same thing with me, because I also often like that, maybe the developer etherdelta less renew its Etheredelta network.

my suggestions hopefully his future etherdelta is faster, simple and precise in every transaction, because I'm sure Eheredelta is a well-known Exchange.

I have been using the as price and it is pretty good.

Etherdelta's interface had a new facelift unlike before where the design was not so pleasing to the eyes. I like etherdelta because it is a dumpers haven for bounty hunter where you can buy very cheap token than the ICO price but stop recently and switched to much better option the forkdelta but i am tempted to switch back to etherdelta but my fear of transactions like withdrawal still bothers me if this problem still exist.

Hm. I don't even try to search etherdelta and forkdelta because I don't like them. Though we easily access and they are user-friendly exchange, I believe that the past attacks in etherdelta may happen again. I already fear to lose mu tokens because it is hard to gain them all. If there is a token of mine that is listed in etherdelta, I will wait for the next announcement and better to hold my coin in a long time.

All this while I have been thinking that I am facing this alone but that is not the case.

why didn't you try to ask the admin in etherdelta maybe theres is a undergoing maintenance into there trading site's but as far i remember this etherdelta website become now a forkdelta exchange trading, maybe i suggest you that find another kind of trading site thats user friendly and easily to make an account without hassle and low processing fee,if you still got a problem in doing a transaction in etherdelta until now,because if your purpose only to buy etherium there so many trading exchange would provide this.

Etherdelta is what I have been holding and is still holding and is good.

The problem you have here is stemming and that is something that you must be aware of.
