Theres no active development in doge for the past 2years? is there any reason why we should hold it for long?

As far as I know now no one is involved in the development of the Doge project, so if it exists without modifications, then of course it will wither, but it is useful as a withdrawal tool, so the project will not go anywhere.

I wonder why the price keeps going up. Like who is buying it? I understand that some people like the fun concept of this coin but are those people really the ones who move the price.

I'm not selling yet.  :D

But if you have good profit and don't feel comfortable holding, you should sell, no one ever got broke for taking profits...

Exactly that the main reason you should forget about DOGE and find promising project with lower supply than doge , it is a game for DUMP and PUMP if you like to play never think to hold for long time .

Dump it and don't buy reddcoin, they're both not the greatest of coins and are highly pumped right now, both were under 20 satoshi recently, in fact RDD was under 10 satoshi. There are much better alternatives out there.

I was also wondering why the price of DOGE went up so high, but apparently it has something to do with the year of the dog in China lol.
I sold most of my coins, I think price will fall back (and then probably gets another pump).

I'd dump Doge , it's just pump/dump token and holding it have no reason for me . Just sell it on a daily/weekly pump and buy a good altcoins .

Usually when doge reach 100 satoshi each I will dump it. But as today, when I saw a lot of alts prices increased so significant, I prefer to hold it while I keep monitoring the price movements. FYI, I have some alts which in the past has almost no value but today some of my alts start to increase in price.

Hold!
This coin has not yet reached its peak of growth. And I'm sure that the price will still go up in the near future. I decided to store these coins in order to get the maximum profit.

How about you don't do either and actually use it?

The dogecoin community is pretty active, you will find there are many ways to use the coin.
Also, there are actually quite a few doge markets.
You can often find incredible prices when you trade with doge instead of btc or eth.

Investing in it won't work.  There's no development team and the max supply will continue to grow indefinitely.

Dumping them might bring you a little profit, but I can imagine a lot more utility through using it instead of selling them off.

One thing to consider, it was kind of a joke coin up until 2 months ago and now people are suddenly thinking it has a good future.
Why? Because the price is cheap.

That is a terrible way to go about speculating on your investments.

Diversifying your portfolio is more than just buying different coins, it's finding different avenues and methods of handling your investments.

If bitcoin gold is able to be in top 20 coin then dogecoin is too. But don't expect the price of doge to hit 1$. If price of dogecoin would hit 1$ then his market cap would be 90kkk right under Ripple.

No offense, but Reddcoin has already increased a lot during the last few days, the same applies to doge.

But if i was on your shoes, i would hold those doges, of course. The fees are pretty low compared to other altcoins, that is why a lot of people prefer to use doge instead of other  coins.

Reddcoin is a crappy coin, i dont know why it suddenly pumped by more than x4 since the last month.

As a newbie you would have to experience market cycles before you can get a hold of how crypto works. My only suggestion to you at this time would be that put a lot of time in crypto and not a lot of money.

It is a bad choice to dump it now. Can't you see the recent rise it has recorded? Mind you, new crypto investors are buying into coins with low price and pumping them up. Soon, doges will get its fair share and hodlers will smile. So, I say to you "hodl"

Since the inception of alt market there have been just a few coins which have been compared with btc. Doge coin is one of them hodl it long for some great returns. However I wont deny the very same fact for RDD too.

I don't think you should have DOGE in the first place, so my argument would be to dump. Of course my opinion will be very different to someone who believes in the coin. It's at a big ATH in usd price though so I think now's a good time to sell.

Well depends at what price you bought it; if you are in profit right now I'd sell, but if you're in loss I'd hold. I think dogecoin will be pumped again, so you can wait for that moment and sell then. At least that's what I'm doing.

The question is how many dogecoin do you have? because no matter how long you hold it if you have only few dogecoins then you will not earn that big. The good thing about Dogecoin is its circulating supply and its price so you need to utilize that. Your earning will base on how many dogecoin you have but if i were you i will dump it after it pump 30% because i knew that people who also have dogecoin will also dump as they already made profit.

Why you take action ( hold ) dogecoin, not profitable I believe. We can see from chart price and volume history, there's no significant moving from dogecoin. Fundamental analyze also say the same, see news history about dogecoin, I believe there's no news can give positive impact about doge. You should leave it ( sell ) before too late or your money will stuck with it. Think again and good luck.

I would recommend dumping the Doge and investing in a coin that has a more promising future, like what your friend suggested.  I think that Reddcoin, as was suggested t you, has a bright future, but honestly the list is long.  I recommend that you do your due diligence and invest in a coin that has a greater potential to expand.

Only 1-2 months ago I remember everyone said DOGE is not worth to hold. Just sell it. It has not any develpoment etc. And now I see everyone saying buy doge keep doge it will fly etc. Because everyone  saw that its super cheap and super fast and better than most of the coins even if it has not any development on system more than  2 years. Üe love serious coins but Doge performs better than them. So make your own decision to sold or hold. Because no one has any idea

Doge already succesful with more than 1.5m marketcap.

XRB is super fast and fee free coin. So better than DOGE. I think if XRB gets to most of exchanges most of people will not use Doge for withdrawals from exchanges any more

How many Dogecoins you are holding? It's market cap now is $1.6B and what do you think with your friends suggestion? If I were you, if there's profit already with upon selling then just sell your Dogecoins. That will remain as it is and you can't have a good future with it unless you are holding Billions of Doge coins but if not after selling it just buy DGB which is also almost the same price with Doge.

You can sell a portion and keep the rest. At least when the price goes crazy, you’ll still have some left and would probably still earn some profit. Though your friend made a good suggestion by purchasing RDD coz it is gradually making some noise.

Doge and RDD are both doing good in the market. But RDD is doing slightly better. So your friend has a point about buying RDD. Coz it just keeps going up! You can dump a few of your Doge for RDD and just hold the rest for future gains.

Just keep the spirit. Anyway, Doge really don't have a good market trend that's why it only have a few investors putting their money into this coin. But it doesn't mean we have just to leave doge into dying instead we help it to grow again and be profit from here.

Recently I read a lot of positive information about DogeCoin, and I advise you to hold DogeCoin as its 2018 rate will increase rapidly. There are reports that DogeCoin is a joke in the cryptocurrency market, but DogeCoin is proving to us that it is very promising, with the exchange rate rising rapidly in early 2018. hold DogeCoin and wait until the exchange rate increases.

Don't buy reddcoin, which is a piece of shit crypto that will never go anywhere, EVER.

I suspect this isn't really a genuine person asking a genuine question.  I think it's some hare-lipped fool trying to start up a pump of reddcoin--because this seems to happen quite a bit with RDD.  So stop it with your shilling.  That coin is a dead carcass on the road that the trash man hasn't picked up yet, and when he does, it'll be listed on Yobit's infamous 1-satoshi graveyard-of-shame, with no blockchain to support it, no market to sell it onto, and no hope of ever getting rid of the damn thing.

But hey, good luck if that's your thing.  I wouldn't sell doge to buy it, though.  At least you can buy stuff with doge.  RDD?  Not so much.

Sorry dont hv an agenda.. i dont have banner under my profile either .  dont see the forum as a marketing platform either.

I hv more doge coins than RDD .. wanted to know if it is worth to hold doge for a year. ill be happy if it touches .010 to .012

I have been holding dogecoin for a long time but now I have not changed it yet and I only see it here so I swap it to other altcoins that are faster to earn because the dogecoin is just what I know but has long been rising.

One way for Dogecoin to pump hard is someone who will launch an ICO using the DOGE ecosystem. That means no other currencies other than Dogecoin to be accepted in that certain ICO.

I own more than 10k Dogecoins right now, but I decided to hold it for long. 2018 is the year of the dog, so I bet we would be having some damn luck even just for a little.

If there will be a new breed of Dogecoin developers, it would be great.

Really? Then please show me at least one coin or token which main use is not "a pump and dump"  ;D

experts please suggest.

the total supply of doge coin is apprxt 120 billions, i think its hard to reach at least 0,20§ and people they expecting doge to reach 1 § , actually there are coins are better than doge,
Your opinion is very good. I think so because the volume is too large so it can not be high value

Yes that is very true that Dogecoin has really a big market capitalization but its market price is still below 1$. Profit-wise, it give you a minimal return only if you only have small volume in your bag. So i think, just HODL on it and buy another alt coin you like to buy because it is better to have more coins in your portfolio.

Read about the dogecoin project and please don't relay to others. You need to educaute yourself in order not to lose your money.

Here's their website: http://dogecoin.com/

and think if its worth enough to invest.

I wonder why the price keeps going up. Like who is buying it? I understand that some people like the fun concept of this coin but are those people really the ones who move the price.
Pump and dump. Every time the same thing with DOGE over and over again, and every time price moves up people are so excited about it and they are buying and someone dump his bag.
My opinion about the project Doge seriously changed after I went to their site and saw that the guys are working very seriously on the project, so probably it's worth keeping the coins Doge

I don't think doge will go up now because its value is constant and not increased from last 1 year. Right now dige is of 0.08 usd but may be in future it might go high. If you invest small amount in doge then you can hold for long but if you invest huge amount then you are taking a big risk.

As far as I know now no one is involved in the development of the Doge project, so if it exists without modifications, then of course it will wither, but it is useful as a withdrawal tool, so the project will not go anywhere.

That's right, me as well. I have not heard any new stuff about Doge coins with regards to any plans from its developers to pump or increase its market cap like the developers of Ripple and LTC. Also, it has been pinned on its price point for quite a while now with little to no actual movement, which is an indicator that there are no plans for it to prosper or gain value. I think it would be better to hold on to it for now, since dumping it would actually mean next to nothing for profit's sake.

However, the decision is on you.

I see that this is a coin, but almost recently began to rise in price, so I'm a bit surprised at this excitement. The fact is that lately all the altcoins have strong fluctuations in price, and very good active growth. Even those who did not have good prospects also rose.

The problem with this coin is that it's a classic coin with a funny history. Nobody ever expected that this coin would have a market cap from more then 1 billion, but it has. I don't know what the future will bring for Dogecoin, but if a market cap from more then 1 billion is possible a lot is... I don't have any DOGE tokens myself dough... for now...  ::)

Doge coin is a conundrum.  There is absolutely no logical or intelligent reason to ever buy this coin let alone hold it.   However I honestly think the price will go up as it gets closer to the Chinese New Year.  It will defy all conventional wisdom but I think it is going to go up.  It will never really be worth anything though but there could be a bit of money to be made.

It's up to to individual mindset and I respect your opinion but I could not find anything special or unique about dogecoin to invest into it eventhough the price is too low and we can easily invest and sell it when the market goes bullish but there should be an agenda to invest as far as my investment I invest into any particular coin only if I see value in it.

my advice to hold if you do not really need something and if it is very urgent to buy another coin you can sell this now, and i think if you holding you can get a fair price more until now i think doge is a pretty familiar coin although the price increase is very long and can be for your future investment, there will be a time where doge will be very valuable in the future just be patient, and if need to hold as much as possible.and it all depends on your mindset

it is always good to hold because people still waiting for dogecoin to increase more than 100 sat. you can hold if you buy at a low price but if you buy at the high price and now it still up, then maybe you can sell a small amount to take your money back and hold the rest of dogecoin you have.  and if you want to buy rdd, make sure to analyze the trends and the price first and don't make an instant buy.

Doge coin is good for day trading not for long term investment, however if you have the feeling that it would take a lot of profit if you hold it then let it be, but if you have another option to invest in like redcoin it is best for holding for long term investment.. You must decide it is all my opinion though..

Reddcoin will definitely be an outstanding investment to get in on. Great team, great community, and very undervalued.

Doge is a hard one for sure as it has it's roots in internet culture only, and there's definitely no guarantee either way, but I would hold for quite a while longer. If that's the only coin you have, I would suggest diversification of your portfolio.

Your friend is right that you have to dump it before it dump heavily by bag holders. It is a crap altcoin and there is no future on this coin because the dev of doge coin create it just for fun and get big profit. Better to buy other coin that has a solid project like Monero, Neo or Litecoin instead of Reddcoin.

No, do not sell them, dogecoin is a precious coin at the moment ; low fees - fast transactions.

It is like the Lightning network only that in a POOR version, and i am not joking, seriously.

$0.001 for a single transaction is NOTHING, just hold those dogecoins, they are worth it.

If you want to invest in reddcoin, just put more money and buy them.

Dogecoin is the best example of a great market cap with an equally low price. It is really a good coin but not really for the purpose of investment. People use it as a means for currency. Infact after the great rise in btc value people are doing most of their transactions in Doge. It is quite popular in terms of means of settlement.

Yes, it is one of the oldest crypto coins which hit the market but haven't progressed much in terms of price. There was a time when they were easily seen in the top 10 however now its market cap has gone down to Rank 35. No use holding instead buy XP or RDD they both look good with their future prospects.

I think it is time to hold DOGE coin. Doge coin is in market from 2013 but somehow it does not get same response like other altcoins. But from last few days again DOGE has quite highlighted in the market and investors showed their interest in it again. Moreover Doge is quite popular for transferring funds from one exchange to another because of Low transaction fees and at the confirmation.

Doge has recently received great support from the large investor community. You should keep it in this time because Doge will not stop at the present value, you can completely get more profit if the year calm keeps Dogecoin. The market is showing more positive signs, observe and make the correct decision for you.

Doge is one coin that has a long history, with a low value then we can easily to trade. In addition we can also quite easily to hold because the value is not too big. I used to be a doge as an alternative to make an investment, the price is 150 satoshi and I think if there is a movement of 10% then the value is just a few satoshi only. Now the price of doge is at rates 80 to 100 satoshi. We can still make doge coin as a good alternative, even some price differences on exchange and we can use it by doing arbitrage. We have the opportunity and we will get the best results if we can make the right decision.

Once a coin with no real purpose goes up parabolic in its value, if I had any of it I am pretty sure I would rush to cash it out... :)

There is active development in Dogecoin. https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/tree/1.14-dev

The reason people say there is not is because they do not understand that the "master" branch remains stable so people don't accidentally deploy work in progress.

One of the three core developers commented on this recently at https://twitter.com/JRossNicoll/status/950887010083987458

Now with DogeCoin, the advice is you should hold and wait when the exchange rate it increased 1000% compared to the current rate at that time to make a decision to sell. DogeCoin is expected to rise strongly in 2018, with the currency's exchange rate expected to rise to $ 5 by the end of 2018, so you should invest more and hold.

I think that it depends on amount of your doge to say if it's worth dumping as the price can increase a bit at least. "Cheap coins" are in meta at the moment, so why wouldn't someone like you that the advantage from this situation, as I don't think that doge can lose that much from this moment  ;)

Even tho it's a "joke," doge is useful for almost no transaction fees, so it is difficult to find cons of this coin (yeah, infinite supply is one of them  ;D)

if you look at history of dogecoin (1 day chart), you will see pattern where it will go beyond 100 sat and then drop low as 20 sat so if you bought at 20 sat, it is not bad idea to take some profit along the way. History always repeat itself

I had a belief that Doge might hit $1 this year so I bought $100 just for something to do.  Well last night I was bored and was thinking about Doge so I decided to do a little math on it.  In theory if every person that has Bitcoins were to sell all of their Btc and invest it into Doge the price of Doge would jump to a whopping $2.74.   ::)

Conclusion:  Some people may get lucky and be able to make some money on Doge but it will never really be worth anything.

Doge is just waiting for the right timing, I have been holding my Doge for so long and I have not seen it pump yet like other coins like XVG and Sia.
Still I believe as long as it will remain in a good exchanges there is a big chance soon it will become popular and will have a good value.

No, Not dump Doge for any shitcoin. DOGE will surely rise in FUTURE. DOGE coin got a huge investor attention in last few weeks, therefore it price surges. It is easily transferable as compare to BTC because of very low transaction fees and short confirmation hour which helps to gain a lot popularity after BTC high transaction fees.

McAfee made the price of Reddcoin pumped since last month by his event "coin of the day". And the price of Doge also pumped by his event, but sadly, dogecoin not like Reddcoin can increases its value easy because the whale still want to buy this coin before Lunar New Year of China.

Yes that is very true that Dogecoin has really a big market capitalization but its market price is still below 1$. Profit-wise, it give you a minimal return only if you only have small volume in your bag. So i think, just hold on it and buy another altcoin you like to buy because it is better to have more coins in your portfolio.

Well I can state that it is constantly great to keep since individuals as yet sitting tight for dogecoin to go up. you can hold on the off chance that you purchase at a low cost however in the event that you purchase at the high cost and now regardless it up, at that point perhaps you can sell little add up to take your cash back and hold whatever is left of the dogecoin you have in cause the price goes up more.

For me doge coin is not a good coin to hold, just look on the chart you can see that value will not increasing too much, most of the time the value decrease because the supply of this coin is too high and the demand is very low. That is why i do not recommend this for holding for long period of time because your capital will be stuck, much better to used it to buy other coin which is better than doge.

Dogecoin is an interesting coin and what about I love Doge is that it has more transactions to be made rather than Bitcoin and its transaction fees are so low. The liquidity is not suitable for money transfer.
You should remember that only a 1 satoshi difference is enough to cause you a few percent loss when buying and selling, while altcoins are priced higher without such a case.
Doge can has cheap fees transfer, but its liquidity is bad!

Dogecoin is a pretty good coin, although a lot of people will disagree with this. Fairly low cost attracts small investors.
It doesn't have many functions, such as, for example, Ethereum, but the transactions are fast and secure, and that's enough. The price is pretty stable, that's fine too.
The main advantage of coins is the community. Users of Dogecoin are all wonderful and friendly and generally cheerful and not greedy. The community regularly holds a huge charity fundraisers.

depend on your situations but if you feel the percentages to increase your crypto asset will be so less if you hold your Doge then sold all of it would be fine and switch it to other coin but as far as i remember to grow your investment value from hold Doge isn't good choose because the price movement seems very slow but Doge position at coinmarketcap is not so bad although not entering top 10 position again but Doge never lack of interest at least for next one year

Many kripto money investors say that Doge is a garbage coin but in my opinion it isn't real. People love Doge and have been on the Doge in the coinmarket for many years. I know a lot of investors who think that the price of Doge will rise very much in 2018. I think, Doge Hodl.

This coin highlights the bubble aspect of crypto, people just jumping in and having no clue about the actual uses. If you are up sell. At some point people will realise that 99% of alt coins are useless or offer no more than is already available.

I think u will dump the Doge coin and invest in other Altcoin for good profit. Because i also hold Doge coins from last 1 year and watching it but its price is not moving a little bit comparison to all other Altcoins of same category. Then i think when ever Doge moves i will sell all Doge coins. This month when Doge on its  peek price i sell all doge and also recommend my all friends who are holding Doge coin from very long time to sell Doge and invest in other coins for long term good profit.

Cheap, easy for sending/receiving, short time for transaction confirmation and cheapest fees. You can not find any altcoin has cheap fees like Dogecoin expect Ripple, but Dogecoin is an altcoin can mining (decentralized), different Ripple is an asset, can not mining.

I would say always pick doge under 30 satoshi when it goes there until then don't pick it , it can go any further that it did , at least for now. Doge will be always a special coin for crypto space even without development from the team.

Really, I never thought that doge one day can rise to such a high price, as the developer of Doge said, was only jokingly introduced this coin, but no matter what, if something existed it may be sense, I will pay attention to the development of Doge, but I will not invest in it.

If the community sees more value than the founders then that's what will determine price. I really like DOGE for the perversity of holding bags in it. Having said that I did offload my bags a while ago so missing out now.

I think it's a good and very undervalued coin. If you want to increase your capital, you need to follow the course. Dogecoin periodically soar in price in 3-4 times to fall again. If you have time to sell them you can get some profit. And at all this coin very good for small payments.

Sell your doge coin if you are not satisfied on this coin. Buy another crypto currency which do you think is better. For me, pump/dump is a normal thing in crypto world but the important is be patient in holding your coins.

Now Doge is about 55 Satoshi, and maximum value I noticed was about 120 Satoshi.
In fact, I don't much care about the purpose or hidden meaning of the coin, while it's price is stable.

I’m also wondering why that doge coin was reached at 120 satoshis even that coin was useless? I think that the main reason is manipulating of price cause of whales. I suggest you to dump it. Holding of dogecoin is not profitable, and wasting your time holding. I think reddcoin is better to hold.

base on coinmarketcap doge values  are still on dip, someone said that doge is use only a tip token.  and for my side i prefer to put on hold this kind of coin and wait for the exact time to sell cause we don't know in upcoming days its value will increase . you need to wait for dogecoin until the price increase. don't underestimate this coin because these coins have a bigger trader and if you take a look at the order buy and order sell, there are more than 5 btc at one order and once it increase, the price will jump to more than 100 satoshi. just wait and enjoy the time and you will see that dogecoin could give a big profit too.

There many others that would not agree about holding dogecoins long term, due to reasons: no products to support it; no dev team that manages and facilitates its growth; and lacks community support. That's why many even I myself is against holding it for long.
Although many have found use of it due to convenience of transaction cost.

When i look at daily chart of Dogecoin, this coin just stay at that price area , going up and going down and no good idea to use it for long term investment, buy in the bottom and sell in the top , only this is way to make money in Dogecoin. Use daily chart and other technical analysis will help to get best price when buy and sell this coin.

First I would like to qualify that am no expert, but I don't think it takes an expert to say that Dogecoins aren't good for holding.
Development has been platonic in the past 2 years or so, and I don't see nay indications that it will grow for better any time soon.
However, it can be comfortable to use for exchanges or sending to someone as it incurs minimal transaction cost.

not using this for my long term investment or something related to it, but IMHO this coin are very usefull.

The dogecoin community is the biggest cryptocurrency, and Dogecoin's transfer fee is very low. Don't dump only holdd.

That's the reason why i like Dogecoin because the trasaction fee was very low. Anyways, i agree with you much better to hold that kind of altcoin that you have rather than sell. However, that altcoin is have a potential to increase in the future.

Regarding the fee and its true that dogecoin is very low fee and if we send small amount it will not affect to its sending amound like example bitcoin.
But talking about profitable investment, dogecoin moves is very slow then i dont think hold it is good idea. For me i will sell it and buy another agresive move of altcoin for investment. Its mine.

Hi,

I have some Dogecoins. I read it hit 2 billion market cap. I am a newbie . a friend suggested that i dump it and buy reddcoin.

experts please suggest.

As a reddcoin investor I would like to point out that Reddcoin is not a good option for the long term. I had the opportunity to earn a small income by buying and selling a bargain when I learned that it had been going in a certain period of time in the short term. For that reason I can recommend you to invest in short term rather than long term.

Yes, you can put some part into the situation and do not need to buy it all. This is a great risk.

Doge is a good crypto currency, although many will disagree with this. Attracts quite a low cost. Obviously, the price could be higher, which would be good for people who hold these coins. I would say that this is quite normal crypto currency. It does not have many functions, like, for example, Ethereum, but transactions are fast and secure, and that's enough. The price is quite stable, which is also good.

Among the advantages of reddcoin currency are the following:

high potential, set great goals;
a strong development team;
low cost;
attractive design.

the dogecoin price right now is still cheap although yesterday have a good increase until 55 satoshi. I still hold my dogecoin because I still wait for the price reaches more than 100 satoshi. I don't have many dogecoin but it's enough for me to make a lot of money so waiting is the only I can do now. I am sure that someday, dogecoin will make a new highest price and it will increase higher like another coin so I am ready to wait for a long time.
Lol don't push those newbie to that shitcoins please, you are Hero member but not play fair. Those coins just a tool for oldbie take newbie investment.

Doge isn't going to make you a millionaire as there is no development in the project. It's the only crypto that's actually still used for tipping and withdrawal and will probably always only be used for tipping and withdrawal from one exchange to another. And that's NOT a bad thing. Doge is not a good currency for long time holding.

currently DOGE is used for arbitrage between exchanges
and also DOGE is also suitable for long-term investment
especially if the bitcoin price rises then the price of doge also go up

As far as I know, doge coin does not represent anything from himself and was originally conceived as a coin-joke. It has one big plus - it's very cheap and fast transactions

Right now doge is one among the best cryptocurrency that has been gaining good market value. In terms of trade volume it staying within the top 50 listed asset adds value to it. As the price of bitcoin keeps growing in a gradual manner growth can be expected with doge as well. Holding is the best one can do.

Dogecoin price is low now at 40 to 45 satoshi. The higher price is 150 -160 satoshi. That is the highest price ever. I think holding doge for long term can be predicted the increase of the price. There will be no jump high. However, you will make a lot of profit because with 1000 USD you can hold a lot of doge.

Doge has withstood the test of time so far.  So I think it is safe to hold it in that it will not disappear.  Having said that, I also think the development of doge is quite questionable at this time.

Dogecoin has not made anything within awhile, that you should sell it as well as invest in other coins. neo, eth, eos are the advice for you.

Dogecoin is one of those coins that have stabilized in price and aren't moving much.  I'd hold on to them just for the chance that development ramps up or it gets taken over by a large company.  I'd only sell it if I had my eyes set on somewhere else to put the money.

For the long term, I don't think doge has a lot of potential. Only a matter of time until a better coin comes along with faster speed, lower fees, etc.

Really? Doge for long-term?

I'm not sure I agree, if anything I think it's better to short doge.

I only use Doge for exchange-to-exchange transfers because it does save up a lot of fees. Otherwise, I won't advise to hold them for the long term. It's got price spikes, but mostly speculatory IMO.

dogecoin still trying to break any price in the market and I guess it still good if we can hold the dogecoin and wait for the 100 satoshi. personally, I will only sell my dogecoin in more than 100 satoshi because I see that dogecoin itself have big potential to increase more than 100 satoshi and I think it will happen soon. dogecoin still the underestimate coin and if we can hold for a long time, then I am sure that we can get a big profit from dogecoin.

There is no future on Doge Coin, better sell it before it become a useless coin. There is no development for it and it was made for fun. It is considered as one f the shitcoins in coinmarketcap.

if I think if you are definitely getting a 10% take profit just sell it if still a loss if the sale rate now hold it is possible if bitcoin continues to move to $ 10000 most likely altcoin all on the go green. because my doge setau is not greatly affected if the market slumps due to the purchase of transactions using dogecoin so the volume will continue to grow.
so I recommend hold if still loss if profit take profit 10% just sell. possibly if it does not happen up on the bitcoin and the other the possibility of the doge will degenerate at least

As I noticed Dogecoin usually follows  the general trend of cryptomarket,so if Bitcoin  will reach its ATH,Dogecoin will do the same.

Dogecoin is hard to call an investment coin, but the fact that its price is growing is true, but I think that the price increase is due to the fact that the price of Dogecoin is indirectly related to the price of Bitcoin and in dollar terms, as the price of Bitcoin grows, Dogecoin also grows. Another factor affecting the price of Dogecoin is the demand from those who use Dogecoin to make cheaper and faster transactions than other cryptocurrencies and the demand from gamers for games that are very common in Asia. But, if you look from the perspective of prospects, then I would choose Redcoin for investment.

I you can see on the graph that DOGE is currently low, it may be worth buying as once in a while it gets hyped due to some newsmaker and temporarily growth in value.

At first chance get rid of it...at least that's what I would do. Even when Doge gets pumped occasionally, I hardly think it has the potential to go x5 or better. And there are several projects out there with that potential right now. I'd personally even consider selling at a loss and get on board one of the departing trains (like $ICX or $VEN). I would most certainly not sell to by Redcoin :)

If the analysts are to be believed, the price will skyrocket further in the coming months. So, if you are a big fan of altcoins, and looking to invest in DOGE, this is probably the best time to buy your assets and hold.

I don't see really good prospectives for DOGECOIN...the founder too revelals many months ago it does not have any real purpose and it's like a joke.... so if I were you i will sell them and buy some more potential gain coins

There may not be visible development for doge but I can tell you it’s going to be a big mistake to dump
On the long run doge is coming back to dominate and you should savor the opportunity

If you will dump still, dump some and keep some
In case for the future

There are some great opportunities to avail else than doge, which I believe are far better to invest because they have a great potential to give you more profit with a little investment. The market right now is kinda resistant so, I think we should wait to invest.
