Title: Considering Investing In A Mining Rig (HELP)
Post by: Zeroaire on January 09, 2018, 06:59:06 PM
So I've been making a fair amount of money trading crypto and I'm considering making the investment into staring mining.

Electricity is relatively inexpensive here (Ohio) (5.75 cents/kwh)

I've built computers before but want to do this right.  I was thinking of building an 8-10 GPU rig with an open air aluminum frame to see what I'm getting into.  I've been mining Monero a bit with my 4 year old computer and making about $2 per day with one older GPU.

Could anyone give me an idea of how much I could make per day mining with an 8-10 GPU rig (and which GPUs)?

Also if I get into making multiple rigs what are the best software options for mining with GPU rigs?  Eventually I guess I might potentially get some Antminers if I really get into this.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!
