We had a user with a problem like this what they said was that they had to manually allow bootstrapcdn.com text objects.

Have been using G-M-L for quite some time, and the new site looks even better. Have moved my FTC profitability group mining to the new site as well, relegating Coinotron to backup.

Love all the starts you are presenting.

The only pessimism that I feel is with regard to the BTC pool - it just does not have enough hashpower to have any reasonable chance of finding blocks within reasonable time.

May I suggest that you drop BTC, but rather concentrate on SHA-256 alt-coins PPC and FRC?

Can't say enough good things about this pool, I've been a long time member of give me LTC and just recently moved over to the new site, and I'm very very impressed.
only had one issue while switching over to the new pool and that was instantly cleared up by a small e-mail to tech support.
I've never had an issue connecting, withdrawing, or anything with this pool. I've tried many others, most have screwed me over in some way, shape, or sort. I'm glad I've found a pool I can count on!

All you need is one look at the new layout/interface and you'll be in love  ;)

Let's try giving this pool, say, 4 days of BTC hashing power, starting tomorrow, 16th.
If it works out fine, we'd have kickstarted a great alternative, and helped decentralise network a little more. If not, we can always move back to our initial pools.

This pool has really good stats presentation and transparency of reward handling.

My guess is that a lot of us will stay, and it will be good for Bitcoin.

I'll point my 10GHs over. It's not much, but it's a start.

Is it visible through the UI?  I can only see the three main coins and no mention of NMC.

Site enhancements / Upgrade (2013-08-24)

    Tickers have been added to header.
    Dashboard has had some major enhancements which now include balancs of all coins on any page.

BTC Pool (2013-08-24)

    Merged mining with NMC has been added to BTC. We are working on some more NMC stats at the moment.
    BTC now only requires 10 confirms before payout.
    Help us spread the word and get the BTC up and moving :D

Might you consider adding a ticker for Coinbase?  They're definitely growing, at least in the US market.

Found a bug: If you try to change payment amount in LTC screen, you get an error that invalid NMC address is specifies

awesome! fantastic news. We are working on speed improvements now as the site is not as fast as i would like it to be :P

We have decided to sweeten the pot even more to help BTC miners give a new pool a chance and help spread hash rate.

Thanks. The promotion has me looking back at this pool. I switched away because of the high reject rates I get when mining here. I don't get this on any other pool. Is there anything I can change on my end?

I have also noticed them. After looking into it it seems they are simple stales nothing more. they usually happen on diff change. After a while it evened out and my regjects now sit under .9. you are welcome to jump on irc and we can check it out further.

Update on this. We have been looking further into it it turned out it was a settign in stratum. We have since disabled this and i cant see any of these errors. Can you please test :)

I'll keep an eye out for any improvements. So far my reject rate has been reduced to 5.5% (and will continue dropping slowly, hopefully), down from the 9-10%+ I was seeing before. Thanks for looking into this.

EU servers and port 80 BTC server (2013-08-31)

    EU servers are now online for BTC and LTC please see http://give-me-coins.com/support/gettingstarted if you woudl like to try them out :).

You asked which coins to add to the pool before. I have now given a try to several and the following list seems to include the most desirable ones:

ZET (Zetacoin) - a new SHA-256 kid in town (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=267545.0). Short confirmation and properties, which might make it more desirable than BTC  for e-commerce. Worth watching and holding.

In the Scrypt camp:
NVC (Novacoin)
DGC (Digitalcoin)
DMD (Diamondcoin)
GDC (Grandcoin)

What about merge mining some of the same coins as bit parking on the BTC pool? Like devcoin, ixcoin, i0coin, etc.

Scrypt: some of the "long coins" like CGB or NVC.

I'm going to move my 8-9gh to your BTC pool to see what we can do!

I know NMC is merged right now, I just think you guys could take the opportunity to merge some more. Bitparking appears to be one of the only pools that does more than NMC merging.

Pool Fees Updated (2013-09-02)

    After almost two weeks with 0% fee on all pools that we are sure everyone enjoyed pool fees are now at:
        LTC - 0.6%
        BTC - 0%
        FTC - 1%

It was a good ride, but, alas, it seems that BTC sub-pool is not taking off.  :'(

May I suggest ZET as a SHA-256 alternative. Zetacoin would really benefit from a professional-level pool.

Yeah guys, sorry. I gotta pull pin on the BTC pool. I'm down to mine on the LTC and FTC pools. The btc network is just too fast for a new, small pool to compete without assistance from big miners.

We need some big players to join. Anyone?

Timezones (2013-09-03)

    We have added the ability to change time zones. To change the defalt time zone simple go to account under the settings drop down box and click the other settings tab. You then select your timezone. Enjoy :)

I see on the website you have set up a p2pool node, Can you post the info here? IRC seems dead.

Today I've added support to keep track of your Give-Me-Coins mining wallet balances (BTC/LTC/FTC), and mining hash rates, to CryptFolio (http://cryptfolio.com) (thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=192423.msg3240122#msg3240122)). This helps you keep track of mining pool balances over time, and generates reports (such as your overall USD net worth). It's nice that a single API key can be used to track all mined currencies :D

ok, i m not the only one.

There was a problem, and many people lost their coins today. Just read an announcements there. Pool administrator promised to credit back all the lost coins though. These guys have always been pretty good helping members with issues, and I'm sure it's gonna be the same this time around. Really like that pool and hope it doesn't affect them negatively.

For a site to get busted can happen at all time.
It is about how the operator deals with the problem.

And at the moment, it looks preety good.

Warning for all miners ! ! ! This pool cheats his users, I have connected 3 separate rigs.


I had to mine 3.4 usd/daily (LTC) for 1000kh/s....real profit was 2.4 usd/daily


As they dont have solid statistics of your earnings, you have to manully calculate your daily profit. I reccomend all users do your math, you will see they steal 20-30 % of your profits ...

I think you jump to colclusions before checking or understanding how the pool works or even asking u if there is a issue for that fact. This is a PPLNS pool if we find less blocks per day (which we have been) ALL users get paid less. If you check payments tab against blocks found and see any blocks missing you are welcome to come and contact us and we can work through whatever the issue is and correct it if any exists. There is also a daily earnings section of the site so your lack of statistics is also complete rubbish

If you would like to run around accusing before actually talking to us then you may move to another pool also.

VTC pool open!! (2014-03-17)

    We have finished our custom changes to stratum and have opened the VTC pool up for a public beta. The pool will coem out of beta as soon as a few blocks have been found and we confirm all is well. Mining details can be found on the getting started page. enjoy :D

All my rigs are already out from your stealing website. I know how "pool" works, and I - as a miner want profit and dont need to hear some poor excuses like "this is PPLNS" ... and other crying.

All I want to say, is that my profits for last weeks was 20-30 % lower than should be, that is fact, that is not problem of last 1-2 days ... I lost lot of coins due your stealing or ... broken system...

If your clients do not have profits they have to have - inform them, otherwise its stealing

this is just warning for another users .... do not believe these thieves, if you want to find out how much they steal from you, unfrotunately you have to calculate it manually.

    To show our appreciation for the adoption of our newest pool we will be removing fee for a week on VTC.

LTC Merged mining (2014-05-30)

    We have added PTC to be merged mined with LTC.
    All Litecoin miners will automatically be earning Pesetacoin without any changes on your LTC miners.. The hashrate is shared between the two coins so all miners will be earning it automatically.

Please conciser adding Payprocoin. New sha256D coin on the horizon. If you have added it then I might just hop on by and add my hashing power to the pool :) Maybe look at adding cure coin too

Something seems to be wrong with the gridseed server. My rig hashrate has dropped a lot because theres not enough work handed to it. Restarting the rig does not solve the issue.

Have you tried one of the other ASIC servers?

uLTC doubled value in the last 24hours. Earn some on our litecoin/dogecoin/syscoin/pesetacoin/uLTC merged pool!

FTC Neoscrypt Stratum Server is up and running.

FTC miners need to change their miner software and point to new server. Workers can be the same.

what diff should we use for vtc on sgminer and ccminer?
seems im hashing a bit fast on both and my hash rate on site is like half what miner reports

Any reason MBL isn't being merge mined with Vert? I'm doing p2pool to merge mine but I'd love to get email notification when one of my rigs goes down. Whenever I look for merge mined coins my first thought is GMC, surprised not to see mobilecash with the VTC pool.

This crappy give-me-coins pool simply many times at random and for random periods of time stops accepting shares on their ltc.give-me-coins:3333 or 3334 or 80 server , so when you leave your mining equipment unnatended for example the whole night, you discover in the morning that you wasted lots of time and electricity.
When this happens, you have to change your config to gridseed.give-me-coins.com:4256 , or the other servers that start with"asic" or "titan".

BUT if your mining equipment is very small like mine, you need those servers that have a dynamic diff of 16-4096, the static ones are not a good choice at all.

Most important, don´t use this pool at all because they steal shares from you, they are scammers.
I catched them twice stealing shares from me, and now they simply don´t answer anything to me on their support mail, and that is the best proof that they are doing it.
A mining pool is not a charity organization, has expenses on servers, internet, programming work..... so a 0% fee pool is giving away free money to people, like a free plane ticket.
It is better to use a pool where you know that you are charged 1% or 2% or whatever of your work, but that is dependable, has support and works as intended.
Dont use this pool, you are giving away money to scammers.

Usually when I see people complaining about not getting paid the correct amount after mining for so-and-so hours on a pool I assume they simply don't understand how mining works (I know, because I was one of those people not too long ago) so I hesitate to make a similar complaint, but...

I pointed a single GTX 1080 at the VTC pool on Give Me Coins for 24 hours and the hashrate reported by the pool and the miner were in close agreement (around 48 MH/s). In that time frame I should have earned 0.9 VTC, which is exactly what I needed to round up my wallet to the next higher integer (the 0.1 was triggering my OCD something fierce). Granted, a block has to be found to get credit for your work, but as long as a block is found one should get credit. As the days tick by since that 24 hour run of mining my balance has sat stubbornly at 0.48 VTC and, yes, blocks were found during and after my mining session.

So as of now it looks like I got shafted out of 50% of my earnings, which, sadly, seems to be a common occurrence with VTC pools in general.

I should note in the interest of fairness and to illustrate I don't have an axe to grind here that I also occasionally mine FTC on GMC and get more or less the expected earnings for a given 24 hour time period using the average difficulty on whattomine.com. So this doesn't appear to be nefarious behavior on the part of GMC, unless they just happen to hate VTC miners for some reason.

Well this just gets weirder and weirder... after another 3 days my balance now sits at 0.765 VTC.

Hello Miners!

We bring you some sad news today. Due to increasing difficulty and competition with mining farms as well as several other issues we have decided to shut down give-me-coins.
We have been in operation since 2013 that's 7 years! and we could not have done this without help from the community and each miner. We have been through many ups and downs but have learned so much over the course of 7 years and we thank each one of you.

Please take note of the following. The pool will remain open until the end of the month (30th April) at which time will be shut down.
