This guy predicted Ripple, ethereum, factom,  iota when they were few cents to dollars to be huge in 2018.
Now he released video on his facebook that Bitcoin is going to fall to $5000 per Bitcoin (based on reserch and speculation)
is that make sense to you ?

Well, a good idea. Saying btc will go down, and when it goes slightly down, buying as many as one can. Later it rises, and here we go  ;) Good strategy

After 3 months I think that BTC will be around 20 K dollars and ETH about 2 K dollars.

I agree but bitcoin can fall to $5000 I don't think it will fall as low $5000 but it is possible. Don't hold it sell now buy later, $50K is a dream cannot be happen in 2018.

It all depends on LN implementation. In its current state, bitcoin is useless and should be worth 0. If LN takes off, it would be huge though, and price could skyrocket to unprecedented levels.

I predict BTC will hit $88,500 before the end of the year. Ask me how I know.  :)

it really could be such a way to make bitcoin prices down by spreading things contrary to our expectations. When it has spread then the market will panic and prices begin to fall then they buy it in large volumes  ::)

I think this is all a story because of not knowledge, because many people say that it goes up to the incredible numbers, and some say that it falls, this statistics is very incomprehensible, and to assert people to sell the cue now is nonsense

Now, why do I have this suspicious feeling that this guy's just leveraging his status to pull down the price in order to buy low on the FUD? Don't forget, BTC will soon be implementing LN and the price then could be something else

I think LTC will firstly integrate it. As known fact - LTC is training area for big brother BTC.

With the scaling issues still not fixed for a while, and a lot has not even adapted SegWit, this could be a possibility. But I think this is on the wrong board..

I do not advise you to sell in losses, if you have earnings you can do it and if you believe in the preddicones, but as it has already happened in repeated occasions the btc will continue to increase its value, even have a long way ahead

That could be a possibility for bitcoin to go back in $5000 level and some will consider this as an opportunity to buy a cheaper bitcoin. After reaching $5k, a massive buying of bitcoin is also possible that will drive the price back to $15k-$20k range. But that just a mere speculation and prediction, they must provide a believable, valid explanations why bitcoin will be going down to that level. Some people are also using the predictions and speculations to spread FUD to make further fear and panic so everyone must find the origin of the news first believing it.   

A growing demand of a limited supply would only serve to increase the price.

And even if a series of governmental policies, including the intention to regulate it causes FUD and the price of BTC to fall, a very cheap BTC would only spark a buying frenzy which would cause the price to rebound in turn.

So, a guy whose predictions have yet to be ascertained as 2018 has barely begun, we should now take his $5k prediction seriously? I love how you say his prediction is based on research and speculation. What else on earth can it be based upon anyway? Think about all the hundreds of people who predicted X coin to be big in 2017 and 2018. At the time now, they can almost all be 100% correct, since everything gained. Does that make them an expert? And if they are experts, do we have to follow them?

Do your own research, follow your own decisions. Own them!

This guy, just like the others. There are too many people predicts the price of Bitcoin in 2015, 2016, 2017 and I don't even remember their names. Why? BECAUSE It's bullshit.

There is a global redistribution in place. Bitcoin goes down while all the others go up. Total capitalization remains stable.

I'm not so sure about this, it's much easy to predict the growth of a coin, but much harder to predict the #1 coin to fall down that far.

Making this kind of speculation is not good. He is speculating too much. Bitcoin is dropping its value significantly this past few days. But i don't think it will drop to $5000. Although anything can happen to bitcoin. Let wait and see what will happen.

Personally, I prefer to do my own research rather than believe random people online. He loses nothing to predict the price of cryptocurrencies but if he is right, people will follow him like you. They are a lot of traders who predict the Bitcoin price so one of them will always be right.

In the meantime, ether will arrive at 5k. Will there be ether overtake on BTC? And if so, when?

Everyone in crypto takes BTC and it cant be said about anything else. Fees have dropped and when the LN is implemented it will remain as the most valuable commodity in the space.

I also think that bitcoin is where all of the investors invest money. At least, this is the common asset that we all share. It is not very surprising because bitcoin is deserves this. It is the most efficient way of increasing the capital. With time, it would be improving and still secure the top position. But if there is a decline to 5k dollars, it would just increase the number of investors. At that time, bitcoin would become honey and investors would become bees.

It all depends on what you chose to believe, you can wait forever to buy at $5000 but me I can see the price at $100k, it all depends on what you believe, there are so many FUD in the space which as overshadow the development talking place in Bitcoin

It will really not happen this year. ETH can really hit that price no doubt but in due time and I know if ETH hits that price bitcoin is already $50k or more. ETH is worth holding for and if you really believe in the future of cryptocurrency this can benefit you a lot and make you rich in the future, 5years or less we will see.

Really bad news must appear for this, then maybe at some point Bitcoin would touch $5000. Anyway at the end of 2018 Bitcoins price would be not less than $20000
