Unlike other privacy conscious crypto coins, Particl does not have its own blockchain but is a dApp. Particl is also a Proof of Stake (POS) coin which means that you can earn funds merely from holding your tokens. This is in contrast to Monero for example which is PoW. Would you invest in Particl? The market cap is still quite small which means it has a great deal of upside if the use case is there. It has utility for developing applications, like their Marketplace. They have a smart business model.

We have many other anonymous cryptocurrencies on different markets that allow POS mining like PIVX and anonymous coins mining with POW like Monero, Dash, ZCash, BCN, Grin, Deep Onion ...
The POW-mined currencies may have better value gain since they are backed by the miner. So the idea of a currency using POS will be less likely to increase in value. Currently, anonymous coins are discouraged by the government so the future for PART does not expand. We can invest a little in this project but don't expect much profit from it. |
