Title: How do I export my Bitcoins from BitPanda to my own wallet
Post by: S400 on January 11, 2018, 03:32:25 AM
OK - So at last I understand that in BitPanda, I can only buy Bitcoins within their own wallet they provide me - and that I then need to "export" them to get them into my own wallet.
-
How on earth do I do this?
-
There is nothing in the BitPanda FAQ about this ...
There is no button / option labelled "Export" or anything similar.
-
I just want to get my Bitcoins from BitPanda into my own Wallet (I am trying out the Electrum desktop wallet).
-
Is there a step-by-step guide or youtube video which shows how to export Bitcoins from BitPanda into a desktop or hardware wallet?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Bitpanda is just an exchange so it shouldn't be treated as a wallet to store funds and they don't let their users access their private keys from what I know so it's impossible to import it into another wallet.

If you want to move your funds to electrum. Just send a normal transaction. Click "Send" and a pop up will show up where you will enter the receiving address. I assume that you've already bought bitcoins and they are now in your bitpanda wallet right?
