of course! as a trader i enjoy the pumps very much because they give me a lot of profit whenever i am capable of catching one in its early stages and as it happens when i saw the ETH pump initiation i jumped in and i have already dumped it to get a nice profit out of it.

pure hype...
ethereum has been advertised to death all its lifetime and that is being done with a specific funds the centralized authority has dedicated for this matter. of course that helps it a lot with the pump.

I think that Ethereum will always reach a value of about 10% to Bitcoin. ETH will probably even surpass this mark at some point.

Too bad that it has lost a bit of stability with the large increase in value. You could always count on ETH. This times are probably over.

But ETH still has a great future.

The rise of ethereum price is well deserved.  Ethereum is not leaving anything to chances. There is clear cut development for ethereum and ethereum is handling scaling problem of it's network head on.  In future ethereum is going to be very valuable

It is surely a pleasure to watch your invested coin to see a rise in price. ETH had raised to almost $1400 this week which was a delight.
I think the reason behind this is the people investing in ICOs. Almost all the ICOs use ETH as a mode of payment. So people buy ETH and then invest it in them. ETH already is a potential coin and has the ability to cross a million dollars. Though it would take ETH a few years to reach that milestone it has the capability to be at that level. Time will show us how far it goes.

Just because the ICO market lasts hot, so resulted in the rising of the ETH price, I think, the price of the ETH will also increase, because need ETH ICO, supply and demand is still in a state of imbalance.

Despite a very rapid increase in recent days, Ethereum is in its natural process of growth, we know that it is an unstable currency, soon its price corresponds in the same proportion of instability in my opinion it's a great time for Ethereum.

Ethereum price increase is potential and stable growth ethereum gone through huge issues in 2018 like parity hack , crypto kitties network congestion , etherdelta hack even lots of issues everything solved so price increasing . Next biggest event is Casper pos . Once pos implemented price will go to moon.

if in my opinion, the ETH price increase is a big hope for those who have it. because, the more ETH price increases, the greater the profit that can be obtained from each sale.

ETH's rise in price is to be expected. After it sat stable ~$300 for so long while BTC ran I would expect ETH to do a bit of catch-up.

Ethereum is still undervalued in my opinion. It'll be Bitcoin successor in the future, because ethers are more advanced technically. They are faster, have lower transaction fees and support smart contracts. Ethereum is not also a currency, but also a platform for other services. Thus Ethereum will definitely continue to grow.

I have a few eth in my wallet , I believe in it , so I bought it . I hope it will beat BTC to be the best one , then I can use my ETH to buy what I want, the higher of ETH price , the happier I am .  ;D

You got a great point of view. Ethereum also has the potential to boost and goes to the moon sooner. But even it arises its value.it still cannot beat the bitcoin.

I agree with you. ETH is really undervalued yet it has giving us solutions which other coins cannot offer. I have high hopes that the price of ETH will still be growing through time.

I believe Ethereum has long been a bit undervalued altcoin. Its price has consistently been increasing for some time. As more and more ICOs are using Ethereum blockchain platform, so its price would continue to increase in 2018. A lot of new investors are also attracted towards Ethereum, so it would remain high potential altcoin this year.

I totally agree with you, ethereum is the most undervalued coin to me. It is actually the best coin, better than bitcoin or ripple. Holding ethereum is more meaningful than holding bitcoin.

Ethereum is one of the altcoins that I have been investing in as previous values and status in the market is showing signs of profit or potential for it.  I've also read review of how people are considering it as their next favorite coin to bitcoin together with the likes of Ripple and litecoin.  Seeing a coin with a not so high value yet but showing strong signs of increase is so appealing to users who cannot afford to buy bitcoins nowadays and so I am very much excited to see how high the etereum's value will soar into.  I hope it could be less susceptible to going down (doubting) but in the event that it does just like any other coins, I hope it will have the same resiliency as bitcoin so that hodling ethereum now won't be such a waste of investment.

I think that ETH is growing partly because high BTC fees. Even I've noticed that I started using ETH more often to avoin high transaction fees.
But I'm not sure if it is 100% good for normal users because if ethereum will switch to PoS it will be way harder to get into mining with small (and even average) amount of coins in your pocket because the mining deposit and the amount of coins needed for mining gona require huge investments.

people then simply buy and hold ethereum, but what they arent aware is that, the ethereum plattform gets less useable due to all those speculants, ethereum has had at times 2.596 USD tx fee,

i expect than that as soon as the fat pig ethereum gets butchered other encription plattforms like waves or stratis will rise up.

I heard that on January 19, the ether network will split and all coin holders will receive additional coins for free. It seems to me that this is the main reason for the rapid growth of ETHER.

split you mean the ethereum zero fork?

It's logic because Ethereum is more technically advanced crypto: faster, smaller transaction fees and smart contract support. Moreover, it's also a platform for other services. Thus I'm sure that ethers are somewhat undervalued and will grow over the next couple years catching up with Bitcoin that will slowly go down in price.

The Etherum price increase is indeed quite remarkable today. For me this will greatly affect the development of crypto world. We can see that Bitcoin and Etherum can be together to develop the use of Cryptocurrencies. This very significant impact will make the volume of market share increasing and more people will believe in Etherum. The price of Etherum is still very likely to increase because until now the Etherum price movement still shows a positive chart and no negative information could have a negative impact on Etherum price movement.

ETH will surely shine this year, with there good platform that new ICO are using. This is a good sign to HOLD until it reach to moon.

I used to think Ethereum was the best solution for cryptoworld, but the problem came up with virtual cats. Everything became slow and expensive! I love cats, but really I hate cryptokitties! I think Vitalik Buterin should solve the problem with cats.

I reckon the fact Ethereum's pricing has increase so drastically is the fact that people has recognize Ethereum value and also knowing that its blockchain and smart contracts are going to change so much in the future. The prices are going to sky rock once the south korea drama simmers down.

it's all true, but we still need to take into account the fact that while the prices for the etherium are rising, the prices for transactions are rising. Already to date, there are minimum Payment Requirements for Gwei.

An impact? Yes because I have a lot of money now.  ;D
It increased because of a lot of buyers, simple as that.
Why? Look at the ICO's they are all being bought to either bitcoin or Ethereum. There are not that many who accepts other coins.
So the conclusion, we buy ethereum to buy our supported altcoin and it becomes a pump/

It makes more sense then the bitcoin price rise from the last few months.
Even though ethereum has it's own problems it has much better tech then bitcoin.

Ethereum price increase is totaly normal, Ethereum price is already undervalued , We are talking about token that 90% of ICos this days based on it . And you also the fork that most people speak about , I do not think it will happen , But people still believe it will . either way the increase is legit and I think it might get stable at 950-1050 or continue to rise 1700

good for a coin price, but I see if the current price of ethereum has a stable and good development. we can keep the price of the ethereum to hold long term to the highest level in large quantities.

I think Etherium one of stable cryptocyrrency, that's why I hold the most part of my crypto in ETH. Price will be somwhere around 2000 of usd in next half of year.

I believe that the recent rise of Ethereum was well deserved and I hope that this trend will continue. Over the past year there has been a huge amount of projects built on Ethereum. There is a whole new ecosystem of tokens based on Ethereum and therefore the mothercurrency, ETH, well deserves being valued high. Unfortunately I dont hold any ETH at the moment, but I will continue to buy some when I have fresh fiat ready. I believe that ETH still has a long way ahead.

I think ethereum has enough power to reach better prices, and I like its rising characteristics. In my opinion, it is the best coin for long-term investments, after bitcoin.

It is no suprise for me that the ethereum is having these pumps as it have witnessed a lot of development in the past few months, and by late 2017 and with the price of bitcoin being so hgh people have switched to ther cryptocurrencies and since ethereum was the second  in terms of the market cap, everyone saw it as an oppurtunity to make some good profit from it, i personaly have been a supporter for ethereum since it was added to blockchain wallet, and when bitcoin cash fork happend i exchagbed what i got from it to ethereum, and now i am happy for doing that as i see that i made the right decesioin.

I'm a little sad because the coins in etherum I have not had so much, so if the etherum goes up then I would have trouble filling the balance of etherum,

I will answer your question with my own answer, the price increase of ethereum will obviously have an impact, for someone who hoard eth they will be happy and for those who do not have will surely have a sense of regret over the price increase of ethereum

yes I agree with you sir, ETH has been long enough to experience a normal price of $ 300 for a long time at that price, as ETH has increased and keeps its owners long enough to get what they deserve through their patience of collecting ETH. maybe the ETH collectors are now rich, i hope so

nothing special because i know that ethereum will reach that price. but maybe someone will be happy because they are holding some ethereum.

I think that the recent spurt of the etherum was well-deserved and I believe that this growth will continue throughout 2018. The etherum is developing very fast and I think it should deservedly become the leader among all the crypto-currencies, I think we will soon be convinced of this

current ethereum has a rather high price increase compared to the ever-decreasing bitcoin in recent days. I think this increase is due to hard fork ethereum and everyone wants to be involved in it.

I think one of the reasons maybe the ethereum zero hard fork then the ethereum price rising. The hard fork is on 19 Jan if not wrong. If after the hard fork the price still very strong then ethereum will touch $2000 very soon.

Ethereum deserves from this better. I think the rise is very normal and the continuation will come.

According to me this is very helpful for traders who trade in a small amount.
I am saying this because due to the increase in bitcoin fees and confirmation time we small traders had no more means to trade,but ETH increased from 700 to 1200 $ in 2 weeks showing us that it is not comparable to btc but still has a lot of potential and has encouraged us to use it.

Etherium would possibly continue to rise and your 10% that you're saying will surely be surpassed. Etherium is not really dependent on the bitcoin value, it will continue to rise because of its popularity it is now gaining and the tremendous change in its demand in the market. There were now great number of people choosing etherium over other coin, they see it as more preferable for trading and transaction. I wont be surprise if etherium will reach the half of bitcoin's value. Its future is bright as bitcoin's.


I also notice that people is now choosing etherium as amean of payment even in some campaign in this forum. They probably see etherium having faster and lower transaction fee. Though, Bitcoin is still been primarily used but some make an option between it and etherium.

The price of the etherium will grow. Literally in the spring I think we will all be pleasantly surprised at the cost of the etherium. Also noticed that now altcoyins react to the change in the price of the etherium. Previously, altcoyins only reacted to the change in the price of bitcoin.

ETH increased less than other coins so it is good instrument to pump now

I was really excited and excited because the value of ETH increased a lot. Because most of my transactions are from ETH and MEW. However, because of its high price, the transaction speed is significantly reduced or even impossible to trade. I was quite surprised by how fast Ethereum value has grown. I hope it isn't another pump and dump. Ethereum deserves to be one of the most used and valuable cryptocurrencies. What a pity that I have sold my Ethereum when BTC/ETH was somewhere around 0.06. Ethereum network is constantly growing. Unfortunately, it looks like it can't handle all the load during ICOs. Cryptokittens are also a good example, I had to wait a few minutes before my transaction was included in a block.

The coin must grow,the ethereum has a good future, especially after the introduction of updates, i believe in this asset

My opinion is that it's the trend of the whole 2018.  I'm sure that we will see corrections of the price, but the whole it will show us the good growth. To my mind, till the end of 2018 the Ethereum price will encrease in 2-3 times minimum. Buy it and hold it!

It is only normal increase and we can expect minimum 10 to 20 fold this year and that will be huge. So be patient and don't sell at peaks now if you are on long term view

I became excited when I was informed that ETH's price rises. I became more enthusiast on investing more on ETH but in my opinion, ETH's price will just pop like bubble because having an inifinte supply can make its price zero. Also, the transaction speed became slower and slower that is why it was hard to trade via Etherdelta. It was also hard to send ETH, I am waiting a day just to send few ETH. Because many people uses ETH, the demand on ETH became higher and the number of transactions became higher. I hope it will be improve and it won't bubble because most of people are trusting ETH.
