So what alternate coins do you guys think will boom short(ish) term?
Im looking at Neo (formerly known as Antshares) - was introduced on the exchanges a couple of months ago, its hovering around 35-40$ right now.
That being said there are only 3-4 projects running on the platform so mass adaptation is to come!!


Looking back at ETH earlier this year, once it went above 50$ it started its moon ride to 400!!

Anyway, what do you guys think?

Neo certainly has some good scope to rise since it has raised so much in the last year. I think Neo will make it to the hundreds in this year.
XRP has lately been a good investment since it crossed $1. It has been rising to $3.5 and falling $1.8 again and again. There is a great volatility in it's price and some good profits can be made in XRP in this year. New comers like TRON and ADA can also be some good investments in the lower price coins. ETH might cross $2000 within a few months since it made $1400 this week.

I think threads like this you should state which coins you hold and which you dont

Of those I hold:
- Wagerr has a lot of potential if a mainnet release is successful.
- Cryptojacks have potential
- Stellar, I was an early adopter and think this could be close to 3-4USD by year end
- BTC, the old reliable has stagnated but another run I think is inevitable once alt mania resides
- LTC (I really like this coin, not sure it will moon following Charlies sell-off, but potential for growth is there)

Those I dont but still think will moon:
NEO (In line with Eth, still undervalued IMO)
BCH (in line with BTC)
ZERO (I think the community around this will do great things)
POT (Undervalued despite the intentions of the coin itself)

Hi friends . I think more value will be ADA . ARK . Cappa . I bought them and will keep for a long time until you get a great profit

By the way i was looking for the blockchain based project just like universa, zilliqa and others. It may better to buy those try to develop a better platform in the future. But remember ethereum still hold the most innovative blockchain platform everytime. But there are some fail project just like waves and it could become very bad place to invest.

Personally I like low market cap coins because it will have alot of marketcap left to grow. So I chose Modum(MOD). This might be the next coin that is gonna moon soon because it works on food and supply chain niche. I expect a billion dollar marketcap atleast this year just like venchain.

In my opinion, the BRD is very promising, it has been listed on binnace, the price is only 2 times of the ICO price. BTW, this is discussion board, not speculation board.

I think exchange based tokens still have big space to grow, the ones im holding myself are kcs, coss and cob. Bnb is also good.

You are right with NEO, it is going to rise up along side ethereum. As more ICOs go on their blockchain demand will pump the price up to where ethereum is. Chinese ICOs and western ones as well will prefer NEO, and some might move to LISK

Bancor will moon

My picks are Oyster Pearl (PRL) and Gifto (GTO), both have huge potential, a rather low supply, and low market cap. They are going to hit top 100 very soon, PRL already had a nice boost and GTO went 5x straight after the ICO.

Modum, LUXCoin, Spectrecoin, and Elixir are also extremely good picks for long-term hodl(a few months at least).

I do agree with you, all these exchanges tokens will continue to grow as the exchanges volume increases, Bittrex recently closed their site to new users because they can't deal with new influx of people wanting to registered on their platfrom

I want to believe in the new DAG technology. I believe Oyster Pearl (PRL) will boom next and if they deliver 100% on their product, hell I will even use it myself to monetize some websites :P

Other coins that I am invested in and believe in are:

- Gifto (GFT) => Support your content creators through gifts
- Bounty0x (BNTY) => More and more coins use their platforms to create bounties :D

I think, Kodak will boom this year, because the company already has high popularity and made a crypto based platform for photographs and customers. As they pronnounced their new cryptocoin their tradtional shares went up 50%. It is similar to AIDA and Solar companies, which will boom because they managed it to implement the innovations of blockchain to traditional service sectors.

I believe, that the ethereum will increase by 2-3 times this year ;)

If I was seeing $35-$40 NEO then I would be thinking it was going to boom too but the price of NEO is actually over $100. I'm not sure where you got your information from but you might want to stop using that source.

I believe Tron, Ada, electroneum, bancor and ethereum for sure. These coins will be great this year. I hope I can get profit as much as I can from these coins. Very excited about them.

NEO is a pretty cool investment though the people that have that coin are just using it for trading.
I would look into Ethereum.

I'll put my bet on Covesting, Aigang, and fidentiaX because they are still fresh and certainly have high chance to booming on this year. Like Populous before, which has risen rapidly on 2017.
