Title: MSI Afterburner problem with 2 Crossfired 6870s Post by: OgNasty on July 09, 2011, 04:22:40 AM EnableUnofficialOverclocking = 1
UnofficialOverclockingEULA = I confirm that I am aware of unofficial overclocking limitations and fully understand that MSI will not provide me any support on it UnofficialOverclockingMode = 2 AccessibilityCheckingPeriod = 0 When I enter this code it freezes upon opening every time. I'm trying to lower the memory speed. I also tried a 1 in place of the EULA sentence. Any ideas? I'm assuming the reason it isn't working is because of crossfire. Has anyone with a crossfired rig gotten afterburner to open in this mode? If you are using it for gaming, lowering memory speed doesn't help that either. o.o
My Afterburner freezes too when I do this, I have a 6990 + 6870. Title: Re: MSI Afterburner problem with 2 Crossfired 6870s Post by: OgNasty on July 09, 2011, 06:03:22 PM Why are you using Crossfire? I'm using Crossfire because the computer does more than mine for bitcoins... I want to lower memory speed to reduce heat and save energy, nothing to do with hashing performance. |
