Title: Can I cancel a sell order at an Exchange?
Post by: arnoldpredator on January 11, 2018, 10:06:31 AM
I can't see how it is done.

I sent the order at price 4877 the buy order that was closer was 4873 and I thought it could match easily.

But suddenly the price of the buy lowered to 4800 and my sell order is still there.

I thought I could send a buy order of the same amount at 4877 to match my original sell order, but what I got was more cryptocurrency and the original sell order is still there. I am using Poloniex by the way.

Thanks for your time and your help.

Yes, you should be able to cancel the order without any issues!

Yes, you can cancel your orders as long as they were not filled.
On poloniex there is "cancel" button at the "my open orders" panel (column "action").
