my mother said hey you don't you ever try to deposit any of what your'e doing online or I gonna kill you. my father said its fake you even didn't make any money out of that,


my side okay . I did not say anything at all and remained silent . hopefully I will be a millionaire after these year and I will present them what I make out of bitcoin -__- .
Main reason for these is ]there is a flash news that bitcoin is used in scam and what they watch about Xian Gaza on facebook[/b] and they knew that I am literate about  bitcoin thats basically the main reason why they stooping me . but I will not hahaha

all of my initial investment is in altcoins and hoping to increase it hundred time in order for my parents to get convinced about crypto "BITCOIN"
do you guys have the same situation as mine? let me know and maybe I can get ways and tricks

If you are truly convinced that what you are doing is right, why try to convince others? As long as the money is not from them and you did not put in your life savings (or all of it) into Crypto, then what you are doing is definitely not wrong. Investing in something so young will always result in opposition from people who care about you, but you just need to know that they care and show them the results of your effort in the future!

Your parents are just trying to protect you. Here on this forum we are all "on the bitcoin side" and still we all realize it is risky. You can lose everything that you have invested and even more. I don't know your parents or the family situation but I guess they are just worried about it because they don't have the slightest idea of what bitcoin is.

Maybe what you can do is starting with some explanations. Tellling them what bitcoin is, without asking for permission to invest in it. Just wait. Leave them some time for them to grasp the concept. For some people, using a computer is not so easy... So regarding bitcoin...

Try to make it smooth. You don't want to waste your family relationship just because both sides were stubborn. If you read through this forum; you can find posts explaining simply the concet behind bitcoin so that children can understand it. Start with that.

For the investment in itself, don't be in a rush. You can wait for some time. ;)

Are you under 18?If you are under 18,you might face diffculties trading cryptocurrencies,because most crypto exchange platforms will require ID verification.Anyway,i never told my parents that i`m trading bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and i`m happy with my decision.Now,i`m financially free and i don`t care about their opinion for the way i use my savings.

Listen to your parents. They are kinda right. It's not the best time to invest in Bitcoin now. It's slowly going down in price and hardly will go up soon. It's happening due to loss of interest to it and rapid development of altcoins. So, wait for a while or invest in Ethereum.

He maybe is underage but a fresh start won't really hurt and a great one too, Because I think it is better to start in bitcoin now than to wait for your parent approval and it is a fresh start in investing with Altcoins because of their fast movement and pump so far, I think you didn't have to convince your parents in what you are doing right now they can surely realize it in the end when you are earning more in cryptocurrency.

You should note that your coins might get confiscated, if you are trading on regulated exchanges, where they included some

disclaimers on Under age trading. Make sure you store the coins that you bought on Paper wallets or Hardware wallets, where

you have control over the Private key. {Then nobody can take the coins from you} There were instances where under age kids

traded on exchanges and then the exchange found out and they confiscated the coins. You should get Parental consent, if you

want to do this within the Rules/ToS of some of these exchanges.  ;)

That's not a nice thing to say to your parents "mad". I feel them they are just being protective with their money because i feel that you are still underage that's why they're acting like that. They just don't want to lose and risk anything and maybe they just don't know the good benefits of investing in bitcoin. But if it is your own savings then why not try your luck. I feel you because here in my place lots of spreading fake news about bitcoin so we can't blamed others for thinking negative about it. Just make sure to do your own research and deligently study everything.

Just follow your parents, because they are the one who budget the money of your family not you. If you have savings then try to use that savings. If your parents do not like to spend money in Bitcoin you must find ways earning Bitcoin without risking any money. Joining signature campaigns does not require any money.

Most of us have this situation. Even though I am a bit older and independent, my surrounding always reacts as I am speaking of some scam or pyramid scheme. You need to endure man. They will respect what we were doing once they see the results. HODL!

You are on point. The best way to convince the thomases is by showing them your account balance or by buying them reasonable gifts with cryptocurrency money, they would ask you how come the money. That is the time to explain and hook them up.

I have experienced this problem too. My parents were nagging at me the time they knew that I have involved with bitcoin, there were so much talk saying get the hell out of bitcoin or else your money will be gone but I did not listen and just Ignored what they have said because I have my own way

Jesus Christ, if your parents really talk to you that way the first thing you need to do is run away from home. Better to live on the streets than with people that threaten to kill you. The second thing you should do is get a job with good medical insurance because at some point you’re going to need therapy. Forget about crypto for now and focus on getting out of your fucked up situation.

second, try to explain how does crypto world works, make them aware of what's going on, at some point they will understand you.
wall vs wall is never a good choice with parents, they have more experience than you and that experience can help you a lot.
No need to trick them and remember, you have only 2 parents and if you get in fight with them you will for sure regret it, don't listen to people who say to run away from home.. are you serious? Do you have a stble income who allows you to rent an apartment and pay for expenses?
Think twice before getting into a fight, talking it's the best way to proceed.

Maybe that's because your parents are like mine. they tend to think negatively about something and always treat me like a stupid person, and someone who'll always get scammed.
But fortunately, my brother know bitcoin too and the one who taught me. So they don't say anything because they always believe my brother no matter what.
I will suggest you to keep doing what you think is right, make something big and prove them that parents aren't right all the time. There are times they're wrong and make bad decisions too, since they're human afterall not God.

Lucky you got involved in crypto at such a young age, always remember your still living with your parents, some of your income are probably from them the only thing you can do is try to explain that in a simple manner comparing to a regular fiat that cannot escape its usage from scam schemes, they just don't fully knowledgeable about cryptocurrencies the only thing they knew about it is possible scams so they reacted according to their knowledge to protect their children, don't mad at them try to understand the situation then prove to them that they are wrong.

You should keep your bitcoins in your own wallet it is not safe to store in an online exchange.But many people still think bitcoin is scam this show the knowledge of older generation. ;D
But bitcoin has real value same as money and it can be converted into fiat money also if you want to you can decide what is right thing to do.

One important that I have learned in life and that is to respect always our parents, they are not forever here so they were trying to save us as much as they can, let them scold you, advice you but don't ever mad at them accept them but it is not necessarily to follow them since you are already old enough to have a decision on your own.

Sorry to say that but I prefer to be honest.
Investing in alts is extremely risky and you may lose all of your money. You can short term speculate with shitcoins to make more BTC.That's ok.
But a real long term investment only Bitcoin is worth the risk.

It is not a bad thing since you don't have a real money to put in crypto. It is bad when you put a real money to it. But since we are earning cryptos in this forum then it is not bad to try. You're parents are just being concern to your savings if put on cryptos. Better if you just hide it and let them realize that you are earning daily on cryptos unlike today if you introduced it without a valid proof then they could stop you. Just understand there way of parenting. Live on your own rules if you are already successful and prove them wrong.

Poor guy, don't know if I should feel sad for you or not. I'm a rock basically  :P So you want to convince, is that right? You say that they saw a video in Facebook where some asshole told bitcoin is a scam and bullshit. You also say you have invested in altcoins, too. One way to convince would be you to cash out your altcoins to your fiat currency using your friend's or relative's bank account and show them crypto is legit. There are so many articles online that have mentioned on how legit crypto is and how investments have turned properly into millionnaires. At the end of the day they just have your best interests at heart. They may not understand crypto currencies and this is more off an opportunity for you to educate them about it. They sound as though everything they know about cryptos is only what they have heard in the media.

You should explain slowly at the right time to your parents about crypto currency.. I think that's not good if you have conflict with your parents, is a common for parents to worry about their children..

This is nonsense, there is no loss of interest in Bitcoin at all, we are only getting started. Buy when others are ilogically pessimistic. Maybe you shold wait for a bigger correction or not, also we don't know what OP is doing, is he earning it trading, posting on signature campaigns or offering any other service? on that case, I would recommend to keep doing what you are doing as long as you are making bitcoin and as long as it's legal of course. Don't forget that if you want to buy a house or anything like that you will not be able to cash out unless everything you made is perfectly legal and traceable.

My parents also do not quite trust bitcoin, since all news reports say that it's bad, never deal with this and so on. I very much hope to prove to them that not just now in this business, and I can earn money on crypto-currency to open my own pub.

Convincing parents is a really tough job because they mostly consider the old values while taking a decision on anything. I still remember my fight with my dad when I asked for my first mobile. But at my age now, I understand how hard it was for them to understand a new technology or a trend. So don't blame your parents, they don't know the power of bitcoin or crypto currency. They probably have heard bad things about bitcoin from someone at their age. You don't need to inform everything to your parents. Instead save your pocket money and invest in cryptos. You don't need to convince them. Overtime they will understand you that you are making money not by scamming people but by trading. Tell them that is similar to stock market, you buy low and then sell high = instant profit.

I do not have any restriction from parents or anyone else as I am fully independent, age and maturity wise. However, you seem to be getting it right by doing what you are doing. I also hope that you can prove your parents wrong at the end of the day and hopefully they'll join in the BTC community

My parents are not very interested in the crypto world. On the other hand they have high expectations from me ( I left the college)
They are also complaining that I should find a normal job so you are not the only one.
I have learned that pleasing others is the best way to get depressed so I avoid doing that, hope you already know it.

If they are not convinced on what you're saying, then don't make them. Many entrepreneurs nowadays had crazy ideas for their project. And look at them now! They are so successful. Be with your crazy idea. Don't mind them. They're your parents but they are somewhat an obstacle.

Unfortunately, it is quite difficult to convince elderly people that Bitcoin isn't a financial pyramid. Most of them, don't want to listen how Bitcoin works. I had to try many times before I managed to convince my parent that Bitcoin is a good investment. They have heard in TV that Bitcoin is dangerous and you can easily lose money by investing in it. Don't listen to them, more and more people are becoming interested in Bitcoin which will eventually lead to its price increase.

Parents always desire  and wishes the same for their children, but if thing that you can make more money than a fresh job using crypto currencies, then you need to give them some solid reason and should convenes her, i think that she will understand you and will let you continue your online job. But i think most of the parents never try to understand their children and then in such cases it become difficult to convene them in a good way.

Well, your parents are trying to protect you from what they think is bad. I understand your situation, we have all been through this stage. Just try to be low profile with regards to bitcoin and altcoin.

I can ask how old are you? Every parent wants to protect their child. They do not know BTC and are afraid that everything is out of the law.

His parents are some rednecks that can't appreciate a child making money the legal way. They would probably prefer him to wash a car or do the shopping, until they'd realize he's lost passion for anything and is just working around the house all day. Then they'd be mad at him that he hasn't found a good paying job. If he finds a job they will complain that he has no wife and babies... It's always something with this kind of people.

Old folks are so wise that it makes them stupid sometimes. It is normal for them to react in the negative because majority of old people would usually take in and digest any negative news without even looking into the subject. This makes them skeptical almost all of the time. So yes, just be silent and do your stuff and let your Bitcoin success do the talking.

the digital money aka cryptocurrency, they are present in our day. very different technologies in our parents' time also different paradigms between parents and children.  all I know is that parents just want happiness for their children by guiding a child's education to get a decent job. Although our work is not in accordance with the expectations of our parents.

It's normal for any parents to say that and tell you to stay away from what you're doing and focus on other stuffs that is more beneficial than trading crypto currencies. The main reason for this is because they don't know what exactly you are doing and what will happen to what you are doing. Our parents are just concern to us and don't want us to get harm on what we are doing and at the end they will understand but it takes time for them. Your parents just want to protect you but they have no idea what cryptocurrency is. My parents are old-fashioned that grew up without advance technology unlike us. Fortunately my parents are not that strict. I managed to convince them that bitcoin and another altcoins are not scams and that sort of things.

All you need to do is just prove that your altcoin invesment is profitable. Once you got profit, use some of your profit to buy present for your family like buy them a house, a car or their bill that can change their mind toward cryptocurrency.

You dont need to be mad with your parents because at the end of the day, they are still your parents that did everything for you. All you need to do is to prove them wrong. If you really want them to convince that what you are doing is good, you need to have a strong proof that can make them realize that they are wrong. You should be successful with your altcoins and always do your best.

Just do it in silence and let them know your success when you can make them happy, buy what they really want, you can independend not depent with them anymore

You surely are not the only one with that kind of parents, mostly, they are old fashioned, and dont trust anything new. I understand them - they do not believe money that does nit physically exist. They are just protecting you because they think it is a scam or maybe even a joke of some sort. Just continue and deposit when you get your credit card, then you can do anything you want.
