Post by: 1r0n1c on January 11, 2018, 12:52:14 PM
Hey guys, what do you think about Golem?
In my opinion, very undervalued atm and a great chance to buy more

(please just comment when you have read the Whitepaper and when know the technology/ idea behind this project)

GNT has no perspectives because big ping between computers through Internet make impossible to joint calculations

I have had this forever. It goes up slowly but it hasn't really mooned. They don't have a product to market yet. Once they do, let's see.

This is a long term HODL and you should forget about it for a while. However a Coinbase listing will happen.

How do you know that?

Do you mean the connection problem from one to each other should become the main problem when someone is trying to use or join calculation? it looks a bit ridiculous but i wanna know more about that.
Basically, this supercomputer project will be so difficult to be real. Even supercomputing still just a rumour.

It is a bit too long developed. But maybe it will get new investors to fasten the interesting project. Maybe we are able someday to mine a few altcoins with it :)
The new aspect is not the supercomputer itself (we have iz already on google and amazon azure), but that it would be decentralized. Ok there is also storj(or is it only cloud storage?) but it Golem aims to a new level.

I dont think this project will succeed, we will see companies pop up that accept bitcoin and not their own token that will be successful. I have really stayed away from this market of selling and buying computing power.

Exactly. I bought some last year and it already rose nicely.
I don't know how big its success will be, but even a moderate success will make the coin rise a lot.

I don't have some sort of "long term" goals with Golem but why not risk some for cheap prices.

Since all in all we are speculating here, how about putting ourself on quiet risky method by investing some. Who knows what will happened. Just remember that accept whatever happened or more importantly try to consider the amount you will put on here as loss so that you are comfortable on the way.

It is not undervalued anymore, i used to always use this coin to make tiny transactions when the price was less than $0,10 each, now that it is over $1,20 each one, i literally want to kill myself (just joking) but it can not go increase anymore..

I bought them long ago. It is a long term investment.
I saw their beta program and I like it. Ping problem will be solved.
