This is what my browser is showing when I want to access Etherscan. Is this general issue ? or I am the only one seeing this

I saw this too, not just you.

This is not only your problem. As far as I have heard them,server overloaded,  just have to wait, I think that they will soon begin to work

yeah, it sucks, but these things happen.

Page is down for a long time by this crypto world standards. Does anyone have an idea for an alternative? I got few transactions failed and want to find some answers.

It is a general occurrence. I witnessed it few minutes ago with the same message. It is okay to undertake routine maintenance of server in order not to compromise security of customers data. It will up again very soon. No cause for alarm.

Your not the only one, the etherscan is also down on my side, but you can still use https://ethplorer.io/ if you wanted to check your balance.

They are always down, their servers are a shit, and they are always bugged, maybe that is the reason of why their ICO is not having enough attention at this time.

I prefer ethexplorer.  i do not understand why a lot of people are still using it.

Anyway,it is now back again, at least, i have just checked my wallet through their explorer and it works fine, only that every two minutes it is offline again.

Yup just need to give it some time and i'm sure it'll be back up soon. Ethplorer always does a good job for me in circumstances like these so maybe worth taking a look at that instead

This is a common cause, this sometimes happens, network congestion. Therefore, after a while everything will be restored.

It's a problem for all, and etherscan working on it.

really i have not cheked that i use ethplorer i mean are they the same i hope it is a minor problem that the dev team will deal with it soon because the last etherdelta hack really made me scared.

Yes it is, due to the ethereum network congestion. i think that there will be more improvement to the etherscan. As far as i know that etherscan is the only one that brings so many accurate data rather than another explorer just like ethplorer.io it may be back again as fast as possible. But this is sucks without any announcement about that.

Will it looks like it gonna be down for a period of time still 404 in my screen they say its a database corruption so it might take a while since they are rebuilding from the back up.

I believe it's the normal routine maintenance for Etherscan. I know they will soon be back to serve the people. It's nothing to start panic.

this is common nowadays there may be updates on the system.
hopefully today all the problems that exist in etherscan can be resolved and work again.

They doing maintance because theirs system can not caght up the speed of Ethereum network, they fixing it and Etherscan will be online soon.

Yeah, they'll be back when they're done fixing some issues. It's nice to know that they're doing some maintenance and they are now resolving some issues. Hopefully,  everything will be back to normal after an hour I guess.

Etherscan is down for everyone at the moment. You can try another site ethplorer.io as an alternative source of information for your Ethereum based assets.

Etherscan is indeed down. You can use https://ethplorer.io if you are monitoring your wallet or transactions. Ethplorer is even better as it gives historical info as to how your wallet value is doing over time.

Checked their twitter. There have been some corruptions and they are trying to rebuild from back up logs so it may take some time. All we can do is wait

same thing happen to me, this time i can't access etherscan from my browser, and i can't transfrer my eth to another address.

Its happening and theres malicious transaction once Ive try to transfer some tokens. Better not take action if you have using MEW right now. Standy by and wait for the update of etherscan. We need to wait for their update if its good to use it again.

I also experienced the same thing when opening my eterscan, maybe the web is undergoing improvement so that later more quickly in accessing the web. We wait until everything goes well but for MEW itself is still fast.

I think etherscan is having some trouble with their site. Its not working well this past few days and i couldn't see my ethereum balance. They are having some maintainance with their network maybe. Its good to see sooner or later their improvements of their site. Etherscan is easy to use to track some transactions and checking all your tokens, its a big loss if they can't fix their site. But im still hoping and waiting for their actions.

I think website down for everyone right now , I still can use ethplorer and deltabalances check my transaction and balance, go to rest a while and Etherscan website go online later

Yes, it is still down, will take some time to recover. But as long as there is no securities issue, everything should be fine. Just use other alternative if necessary.

Yes, missing etherscan today. ethplorer is not a full substitute for it. Etherscan was showing
values of lot more tokens in wallet address than ethplorer does.

Few moments ago i browse the Etherscan website following message is being displayed on website front home blank page.
"Etherscan.io is currently offline, we are working on it and we will be back up once the issue has been resolved.

May be they are going some maintenance.

almost everyone else is experiencing the same thing. indeed etherscan is inaccessible, even some of my token delivery is still pending to date. hopefully, this will not be long

Nope, you are not the only one seeing this. I'm experiencing the same problem, but I'm sure it will be back up soon. In the mean time, I'm using Ethplorer haha. Still prefer Etherscan though.
