Title: Day Trading
Post by: McJesus17 on January 12, 2018, 12:00:53 AM
I cant seem to find the thread for day trades on here. There is excellent talk about some long term holds. Who is everyone shilling for some crazy day trade moon missions?

cryptocurrency is good for long term trading,, not for day trading,,
if you want to make profit in daily,, you can use some technical analyst to predict the markets in daily in lower time frame charts

I am not too interested in daily trading this makes me too busy to monitor the market movements that I need to do every day. if I can suggest what you should do an investment for a longer period of time and most importantly of course you should be able to choose the type of coin that is good enough to make an investment in a long period of time. I just give advice only and if you prefer to do daily trading should you have time to spare. so you can continue monitoring the movement of the crypto market.

I would prefer not to day trade and just hold but sometimes it is necessary in order to cut a loss.  I browse daily and do research on coins but don't always trade everyday.  Maybe if I had more money I would..haha

I have most of my investment locked up coins that I plan on HODL'ng and a couple potential moonshots. I had a little bit left over and was trying to see if I could make something out of it. I feel like there is money to be made if you have nothing better to do but its tough picking them daily/hourly.

The day traders will be too busy on monitoring the markets so they may don't have enough time for getting into the forum.Currently the situation of cryotocurrency is too bad for the day traders because the price of all cryotocurrency is falling so it is better to hold the coins then trading or they will lose money.
The day trading is different from long term trading,we need to pick of the coins with too volatile price to make money in day trading.

seems to be pretty easy to me, most coins can be day-traded cus they follow similar patterns every day

Thats what I was thinking. Also, when a blue chipper coin like ICX drops by %15 after dipping down hard yesterday things have to come around right? You can set sell and buy limits so you dont have to be glued to a computer. There are some pretty drastic price changes

You also have to take into account the fees and transaction times for day trading, I believe the only real way to make money is by using a bot, there are a few companies that are trying to develop this software but its too new.

I think you are better off looking at ICO than day trading, most ICO will 5x within a few days of being released on the exchanges.

I think not just two, it could be that some coins can make a profit today. and not with long-term, short-term faster profitable, because the value of coins per second changed.

i dont believe in day trading, its very risky, you can do short term hold, or the best will be a long term hold. depends on you

Alt coins are better hold for a quite long term and then you amy find the money that you have wanted. They need time to go up and they also need patientce to wait.

I disgree with you, because day trading is not for you don't mean it is not good, some people make between 5-10% profit from their trade ans when you compond this I believe it will outpace long term investors

Those threads aren't in here because there is another section for that type of discussion. You can find that in the trading section.

I don't know how people can lose any money with daytrading. Just trade with the hopes of doing it longterm then cash out the same day.

I feel like there is less to discuss when it comes to day trading as it is more based on swings on mentality from positive to negative, also if people share their strategies it can hurt profits whereas telling someone a coin you believe in can only help your profits.

Its posible to do it but it really needs a lot of your time,i do it when i have general idea in what way market will go in the next few days but even then i do it only with margin trading and with only few coins like btc neo ltc eth and etc.For example i am going long tomorrow for ltc at 265$ and that will be my only trade as i have no idea what will happen with other coins tomorrow

I think this is because day-trading is very risky and it does not make such high interest rates that you can make on a long-term purchase.

Same thing happen to me before but since I make a lot of study about day trading, now I can say its really profitable. This thing is really depend on your goal and if you really want to become a trader then you must work for it, no one can help you but only yourself and get your ass up and work for it.

Day trading will be the nightmare for new traders beware of day trading if you are new to cryptocurrency instead you can invest in any good project.

For me crypto currencies are great for long term trading and investments. Day trading is very hard for me and the risks involved are far higher than my comfort level.

Is anyone day trading small positions?

Rather than say selling your full position, waiting for a dip to buy entirely again?

e.g. With this method as an example using BTCs currently volatility to trade and cash out smaller % on a daily to every other day basis. Whether you have a few or even 1, I can imagine some individuals currently using this method.

Any thoughts?

Of course this is completely up to the trader and his experience and stability within and outside of the market.

Here is not the right place for daytrading...
 Better to install application TELEGRAM.....
 Thousands of pump groups....
But I have to e-warn you... dont trust them 100%....
 check hints..then check candles...check the chart buy-sell...
 Good luck...

For me, crypto currency is only suitable for long-term trading. So you should keep some coins longer anyway.
At that time I had some BTC, which I sold for very little money (at that time it was a lot of money).
Had I kept this BTC, it would be a lot better. I therefore consider day trading skeptical and would not advise it.
Luckily I found a few BTC from that time. I've learned that if I keep the coins longer, I'll make a lot more profit.
When the right time is right, everyone has to decide for themselves.
As long as you do not use any risk capital you can still keep the coins. It is best if you followed the news a bit with.
So you can estimate what the value for the coin will be. So what do you learn from it? One should not act too hastily.

I agree with cryptonx all who those hold for long term always win. Even though you can also do a day trade just TA for a precise entry and exit 10%-30% profits are definitely good.

Types of day trading are less profitable than long-term trading, we can trade in the long run in order to gain greater profit by seeing the movement of very high prices in order to feel more satisfying results. the type of day trading is faster to generate profits but we need to do every day to monitor the movement of the price and can control the emotional control in order to avoid losses.
