I know you need a Mt. Gox account, and I think a dwolla account? How can I ensure I don't get scammed?

Gox and TH seem popular and fine at the moment. you just open an account, they give you details to send your btc to them, they credit it to your account. you set a price, if that price is met with a buyer, your account gets credited the value in $$$ and your btc passed on. then you withdraw via chosen method which varies between exchanges and countries, from options like bank wires, dwolla exchanges or liberty reserve withdawl to same some. when you go to these sites you can read about their methods and fees.
