Title: Almost all the coins are bleeding
Post by: mariamhyan on January 12, 2018, 02:22:46 AM
I'm fairly new in Cryptocurrency market, and it's pretty scary how all the coins I have are dropping. I know everybody was saying that January is gonna be a slow month, but is this normal, or some groups are already controlling the whole market?  ??? ???

I know that almost top 100 CMC is bleeding & only 12 that have a green day CMIIW, but I think If you have cryptocurrency asset its time to buy or just hold it. dont sell for loss if your portofolio vallue decrease.

Yes you are right, any time the price of Bitcoin drops all other altcoins prices follow suite because Bitcoin is one of the base coins. Though there are other base coins like Ethereum and Litecoin bitcoin is the father.  The bleeding of the altcoins recently might be due to the news from Korea government about cryptocurrency which will be corrected soon or later

Even though S. Korea FUD is long over, the recovery from the sell-off is slow.
Going by charts, I think cryptos should start rising again in next day or two.

Best time to buy more. Once it settles, it goes up again

If in your portfolio carefully selected and promising coins, then just keep your coins and do not sell. Now the negative news from South Korea influenced bitcoin, and behind it everything else fell, but I think it's a matter of time. So keep coins and do not sell. It's my opinion.

But as you can see from the K chart, the overall increase in cryptocurrency markets over the past month has been phenomenal, and so is the decline.

Just a time to buy really. I just consider it a crypto sale. Always buy in the sales.

Definitely a sea of red right now but just hold.  USD values might be down but look at how your coins are doing in relation to BTC.   Once BTC starts rebounding andnif your coins were doing good against it, you will reap the rewards.

I don't think that this is an unusual event but yes for investors this can be taken advantage of since there are some that are gaining substantially like ripple. The drop in several coins are normal.
