Title: I had to reboot my antminer D3 about 3 times in the last 7 days
Post by: Sandal_Hat on January 12, 2018, 03:24:53 AM
And this time it showed 2 hashboards down. Should I be worried?

Is this a bad sign of things to come? It is running around 65 degrees now.
My other machines are all fine though

Well, that isn't good or normal.  Miners shouldn't need to be rebooted.  If it is still under manufacturers warranty, I would contact support immediately to see if they can repair it or send a replacement.  The turnaround period for a replacement might be a while.  I know the D3 miners are out of stock at the moment.

Are you using the latest firmware?

No. I am using stock firmware? Would latest firmware help? I will try upgrade.

It was not like this before. I wonder what changed. I worry it wasnt manufactured too well. It is new after all.
The rest of my antminers working fine though. I pray the march ones will be ok

Ok, upgraded to latest D3 firmware and all is good so far. Hopefully, it will be ok in the next few days.
Do note that at the firmware upgrade, below it, there is a message saying that the upgrade solves the miner stopping issue. So far, so good :)
