I put in $100 into 8 coins each last month. Goal is to hodl for 1 year and see where I end up.
Where do you guys think I will end up on in 11 more months? ;)

Portfolio you have a good. I think everything should be all right after a year. The only course project XEL dark horse. The price is always hanging from 50 to 80 cents. No marketing is unclear how actively under development and when will it provide a ready-made product. But if they will succeed easily step over billion.

Good portfolio I think if you now have 2000 by the end of thousands 30.000 should be. Good luck

XEL is one of the best coins imo. Really undervalued still. Only 100Mill market cap. Great team, they are currently updating their websites and all the information, they are keeping up to date with everything. The ICO price of this coin was 1BTC and was dumped ever since. I believe x10 easily.

I like this type of challenge, but I prefer to be managing my portfolio on a monthly basis, it makes me to be active with the space, although it has been proven that long term hold in a good project is better, will be following your result

This is something i'm doing on the side. I do manage my portfolio with targets.
Currently hodling $bnt, $storm $eth $gbyte $ant $ardr (from biggest to smallest) as well

All extremely low entries. And huge potential. ;)

in list you give i just really know about omg and xlm and some other crypto you list also potential to increase more profitable than now.
my altcoin option that i believe had a lot potential which is xlm . xrp . and frd. im spend some in there too hopes will make a thing incredible in future .

With your portfolio and if we assume that 2018 is as good as 2017, I would expect ~ x10 for one year. But you never know what will happen in the future.

All the coins I got in were in good entries. XRP's graph looks like death atm, and was a really bad entry point for me to get in. It will however still go up as it all does. But not maximum from that entry point.

They are all nice and promising projects. If something like a big crash doesnt happen you will make a real good profit for sure  ;)

I think it is a good plan to invest and hold atleast a year. I am actually planning to collect atleast 10 tokens each coin and hold it for years crossing my fingers that its value will be like Etherium after a couple of years.

They are all good coins but i am not sure how high they can get. Even if all of them got 10x i don’t think you will be satisfied with the result. Instead you can try to find a cheap coin that has a chance to make 50-100x.

Everyone wants to find a coin that will make 50-100x.

I think you're solid with Ada & XLM. Verge is something I wouldn't touch, their tech is still not secure enough and they way they are dishonest (intentional or not doesn't matter) scares people away I think.

If you're interested in stealth coins, check out XSPEC! They will release Stealth Staking as only crypto out there. Could get hot with all these taxes and regulations coming...

Cool, I like those kind of experiments. Ive actually something similar going on. I have made a portfolio with $5 investments in the top 25 cryptos and am just letting this investment sit for the next years, whatever happens.
I cant really predict where we will be at next year, but I can see your portfolio easily be trading at x10 in a year from now. Well cryptomarkets are unpredictable and sometimes they are just crazy, so maybe you will end up with way more than that. Or less than the initial investment, who knows?!

I would, for example, expand my portfolio and add other coins there.
For example, I would add there IZX TOKENS.  Izetex provides an open platform for the game developers, who will benefit from creating new games.

hold the coin within the long term is a very appropriate decision. so then the profit obtained will be much very huge compared to only sell them within one week. to invest for that then buy only xl or nxt, must have been very profitable.

the decisions that you take already good because it not only focused on one coin only. coupled with long term investment you make is just right because it is more promising. continue and that it is important not to panic and always exposed to the patient.

I think it'll be about $30k or $40k given your selection and last year's growth. Or maybe $300, who knows, thats crypto.

Some of your choices are good enough such as xlm but im not with XVG or DGB. most of them pumped hardly recently. Instead its better try to find a Underbalued coin that has a chance to make 20-50x. take a look at Po.et - CND - DeepBrain Chain - ETHLend

ODN, TAU, BIS are also good picks. Undervalued smart contract blockchains are going to catch up to big competitors like ADA.

That is really small invest for crypto, i think you should buy 4 coins and spend x2 money on those coins to maximize your profit later.

There are so many coins currently. If 2018 is like 2017, most of them will grow anyways :P

I do not know your investment goals but I feel most of these coins have had their big growth and at most will offer modest returns. I can't see this portfolio doing more than 5-10x and right now I even think that's optimistic.

$xspec is really nice imo. Really low marketcap and huge upside potential! In my radar, maybe I should have a side account on cryptopia for side gains ;)

Of course, I leave the big gains for my big entries ;)
1) $bnt. Already x2 from my entry but due to btc dips, currently good entry!. I am expecting large things from this x10 at least.
2) $gbytes. Broke out of my strong resistance yesterday with good volume. (Airdrop coming soon) x5 at least
3) $ant. Following patterns of $bnt and still testing resistance, good entry right now.
4) $storm. All though it has x5 in 2 weeks. This coin has a working prduct and a good af team. Im not selling till x100. Their advisors are CEO of bittrex, so you should know where that is going.

A lot of gems, but the question is risk vs reward :)

Actually, I think any coin almost in the top 20 would have made money from where it was a year ago. This actually includes scams like Bitconnect. I know there have been others also declared scammy, such as Dash, even Ethereum and most recently Ripple, but I'm talking about a straight up pyramid scheme or ponzi that BCC is (yes, BCC is not Bitcoin Cash).

Nice.You have a good gameplan goin. Keep it up and you'll earn huge in the coming days! Just make sure to keep track of you coins' market performnce so you won't get lost. You already have earned a reasonable amount of profit from your initial investment. If the trend is stable, your roi will be great!

Via can reach $ 100 in 1 year. It is very limited in number and it is very attractive in this direction. Patience is very important at this point. Success does not come easy.

Nice gift. $200 is good enough. But the most i interest from your fortofolio is ADA.
It is very good and promissing so i have no doubt that it can grow so much.

When playing with $200, I would suggest you invest in fewer coins. Apart from this $100 each project, I do still trade much more into other coins on more frequent phases. With this $100 a coin project, i'm just going to be HODLing the whole time no matter what and see where it takes me till 2018. But I would suggest you climbing up that ladder, putting into 1-2 coins, take profits and putting into new coins (repeat). If you have enough already invested and have $200 more to just chuck around, then sure!

I can suggest but there are some question marks about project.
I really hope they can succeed the phone called Finney but they need to work harder. Investors can't handle another failure from same team.

Your portfolio is good but you can add a several coins that are 0x(zrx) , Rawcoin(xrc) and maybe NEO. I think your portfolio of 12nd month is about to $10000-$12000.

The first phone was for the elite market with a fixed price of $13k

I've been in crypto for a while now.
$SYS: I really love the project and what they do. Their roadmap looks beyond insane.
$DGB: I really like how fast their transactions are and TA aiming for a new ATH.
$XEL: TA looks so sexy, team of devs are really onto it and project really nice.
$OMG: I've had since the start, I've bought and sold this many times. It's like ETH you don't see much progress but overtime = BIG.
$XLM: Again project love.
$XVG: Don't really care. Just bought it cheap
$ETC: Just like bch follows btc at most times. etc does the same. Graphs look amazing when I bought. Still do. 10x at least.
$ADA: Amazing project.

Others have suggest I should have bought other coins. These were on my buy list alongside many. But at that time, these we're the best options for me.

The coins in your portfolio are very well chosen. But I would recommend changing ETC to ETH, because it's more promising coin.

Alot of good suggestions in this thread. I had never heard of Sirin Labs, will keep an eye out for if/when any of their products go retail.

I would suggest potentially at maybe throwing a little at Intensecoin and Spectrecoin.

Intensecoin is currently around 5 cents, and are trying to build out a distributed VPN and decentralized network services platform. Its a bit of a risk as they don't have a product completed yet and there are other competitors, but if its successful, it would be a huge ROI.

I like Spectrecoin due to them trying to develop unique features for a privacy coin. What I am interested in a future release in which all transactions are using ring signatures by default and the stealth staking allowing for privacy for the staking rewards. If they hit some of these goals on their roadmap in a timely fashion, I think it could really takeoff. They don't seem to have any professional PR and are a bit underground, so some professional marketing should also see it get a bump.

I like some of the other suggestions like ada, I am interested to see how they do versus eos.

It's a cool idea to publish your portfolio, I think that for this period it will be 10 times more to increase the invested funds. In your portfolio, there are a lot of undervalued coins, so I think that they are very good growth.

I feel like I would choose ethereum, neo, omisego, walton, vechain, salt, decred and sonm. I am expecting many many improvements from these coins. Probably 10x or even more.

Some of those are really good picks, but I don't like ETC and OMG. What I do like is XEL and SYS. I would also suggest posting % of each coin in your total amount to see what coin takes the lead

I will add KIN of KIK, if they integrate it before TG they will have small niche

DGB and SYS can achieve many good things. They're pretty fine ones available on the market. If you want to hold and you can afford this, you can't find better ones rather than DGB and SYS.

Yes, in one year coins can bring you very big profits. Even if you are a beginner, then you can buy any coin from the TOP-20 and it will give you a good profit. I am sure that in 2018 there will be a big increase in altcoins.

Well they were all massively pumped between mid December and the first week of January.  Almost every coin from what I can see that was on a decent exchange.  I'm sure they will continue this process.

I like your choice of coins, they are  worthy and you have all chances to increase your money in 5-10 times. But you know in cryptoworld is it impossible to predict exactly, what we shoul wait, the choice of coins is great , but you never know what kind of news can come from anywhere. but in long term i think positive. don't forget to fix the profit,it is very important.

today I see some coins in your portfolio pretty much throw in price even some back at the original price when you buy. Have you sold some of your coins before this decline occurred? If you already sold it, you are a great person.

What is the price of the portfolio right now? After a serious drawdown? I think that some of them could now be bought cheaper?

If you already buy those coin at its peak now is time buy more each coin $100 for averaging the price you bought in. I hope you did not going all in at that time. And dont ever going all in or you will need to hold it longer. From that 8 crypto you invest i also bought 4 of them.
