Title: Bitcoin 0.3.24 Binary for CentOS 5.6 x86_64 Static build
Post by: senseless on July 09, 2011, 02:16:57 PM

I figured I'd keep building these binaries since I have the environment for it now.

Precompiled binary built on CentOS 5.6 X86_64 Static Libs

bitcoin.tar.gz contains both bitcoin and bitcoind executables

Code:
[root@localhost]# uname -a
Linux localhost.localdomain 2.6.18-238.el5 #1 SMP Thu Jan 13 16:24:47 EST 2011 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
[root@localhost]# cat /etc/issue
CentOS release 5.6 (Final)
Sorry to necro, but...mind building a 32bit?

Yes, a 32bit version of this would help a lot.

I found this article that worked great in getting the bitcoin client running on CentOS:
