Title: XCrowd Release
Post by: luke7203 on August 14, 2013, 01:59:26 PM
Hello all! I am rather new to this forum, but not to Bitcoin. My brother has given me some information, and I would like to know more about XCrowd. I heard that they're starting to sell orders on the 16th, but I would like to know the exact time the site will go live.
I am a n00b so don't hate. Just trying to learn more :)

XCrowd seems a quite "risky" though not willing to say scammy yet.

My skepticism goes up the more the vendor works on their case design before their chip.  BFL is a perfect example.

You can find out more in the main XCrowd thread in the custom hardware section.

Personally I think the bitfury miners while more expensive are pretty solid for deliverables.  In bitcoin mining with the asic revolution delivery dates matter as much as hash power.

If you are looking for new technology 28nm asic projects I recommend reading the Custom Hardware section... lots of good info.
