Seriously, I dont understand how Dogecoin can survive till today. It looks more like a joke coin with no actual use case. Some1 pls tell me y its price is not only going down but mooning.

It was a joke but then I used to use it for moving from yobit to Bittrex because BTC fee was so much.

Low fees and fast transactions - these are the main things about this coin.

The whole conception of this coin has no sense, but DogeCoin has rather small transaction fees and also it is popular in gambling industry.

Besides being a coin fantansia the main function of the doge is the rate break, there are many currencies with high shipping rates for one exchange for another or even a serve for hardware wallet, the average fee of the doge is from 2 to 12 doges and also your transactions are fast, it's simple plus it's a big benefit.

How do u convert the dogecoin back to btc or ur fav currency in ur multi coin supported wallet?? I dont understand..

it is a joke coin but a joke that people liked!
otherwise there are a lot of other joke coins exactly like Doge with even similar names and very similar settings and none of them are even alive anymore.

Doge being a fun coin with a community around it, and with fast transactions which are also cheap due to high mining reward of 10000 Doge per block keeps it alive. so traders from time to time go to it and start pumping it.
it is not "Always" mooning. it gets pumped sometimes. and then it is all down the hill.

The same for me , I left it at 18-20 sat few months ago, last week when I saw its price I got choked .
It was  said its supply was big that's why its price was relatively low , but regarding to its current rate , supply has not major role in price determination

It may seem like a joke for some people, but Dogecoin has a strong, numerous community and it has been out for years already. It is fast and has low transaction fees so people started using it more when Bitcoin fees went crazy. That doesn't justify its $1b + market cap, though.

It survives because of wrong information created by bag holders and pump and dump group that is circulated in social media and invested by newbies. One reason is you can use it to transfer your profit from one exchange to another with cheaper cost and you have to sell it immediately once you receive it in your doge wallet.

Eh, there have been worse meme altcoins. I still think dogecoin still has some run in it left, not for long but I think we'll see some improvements this year. Also, obligatory "2018 is dog year this means moon".

doGE is nothing more than a meme coin, and it seems like some people have pretty much given up in holding this joke and have decided to dump, it's been going down since last sunday with no signs of recovery. Though i'm not surprised there's people out there interested in a coin with over $1b market cap (but i'm sure most of them not understand how market cap works), and the fact that it still has a "big" community, it is understable that it still listed in some exchanges. Overall, as long as there are holders, I don't think it's going to dissapear from the market for a very long time.

Initially, Dogecoin was supposed to be a joke, a banter over Bitcoin. Noone took him seriously and did not believe in his growth and development. But now the coin shows good growth rates and is one of the most popular crypto currency. Almost all exchanges support Dogecoin. The commission is low and the confirmation comes quickly. But new or less popular cryptos are not available on all exchanges. Dogecoin is profitable, that`s why it is so popular right now. I don`t think we can call it trollolol coin anymore.

I think that this coin will grow during the year. What reason? A very good name. And it so happened that the year 2018 is the year of the dog. Psychology? And 90 percent of projects are based on psychology.

I am not very interested in dogecoin. I think it is very difficult for degocoin to flourish in the future, I have never been to buy the coins.

This is a very good coin, which I sometimes use. And this coin recently brought me 40% of the profit. I was very surprised when I saw that the price went up.

dogcoin is not a good coin. but i can done with lower transaction fee. doesn't increase in it's price. but still it is survive. i think dogcoin will be not flourish.

This coin was really created as a joke, but it survived to this day and it deserves a respect. I'm sure that many people continue to use this coin only because the transactions are very fast and have a small commission. I also often use this coin to send txs between exchanges.

all those who have tried to copy dogecoin have failed because these are coins disguised as jokes and fun, but in reality these are created with serious pretensions, and people do not like this.

I guess the real use case for Dogecoin is really low fees and super fast transactions. Ok, now I understand why it still survives to this day unlike other joke coins which have no actual use case. In a nutshell, Dogecoin is like the "Bitcoin" of cheap and ultra short transaction confirmation time coins for payment.

As for this currency is not much worse than any other coin on the market. Dogecoin is currency that easy to mine. It has simple blockchain and there are a lot of platforms for collective mining of Dogecoin.

No one knows. But you know what's interesting - it works! All are interested in them, traders raise good money, miners also feel great. And no one knows the reason and why!

It survives because of the support of their community. If it will rise a lot (seen there is no limit on the amount), I don't know

Yes exactly that's what i wanted to discuss as nobody has a clear picture about dogecoin because to be honest it looks like some sort of joke or kid's stuff for me as there is nothing unique nor any new feature in it but still it is still there in the market but i don't see any future for this coin as it is going to be a bubble and most of amateur investors still buy it because of it's low price.

x8 since december, still no one can know why it has been going up so quickly. But the fees are zero, $0,001 for a single transaction are peannuts,and you do not need to wait until your payment gets confirmed. That is why a lot of people prefer dogecoin.

This is a coin that proves to us that in fact it is not necessary to be something provided, it's enough to be popular!)
