Title: Is there 32 Bit wallet support for NEO?
Post by: BitcoinCollectorX on January 12, 2018, 02:51:31 PM
Is there '32 Bit' wallet support for NEO? I like the look of that Neon wallet but can only find '64 bit'

Thanks.

Don't know about 32 bit neon wallet but you can use neotracker wallet which is like myetherwallet wallet which works for ethereum and ERC-20 tokens in the same way https://neotracker.io works for NEO and it's tokens.
But remember it has some risks you should be careful before getting phised.

Would you please provide information about risks in that online wallet that it seems so cool and easy to interact with.

the risks he was talking about is the risk of you actualy going on the wrong site made by scammers to steal your keys. if you dont do this it looks very similar to the my ether wallet that can be used offline in a cold wallet manner. guess a differance here if you want to use offline is with neo you probably need to make a new wallet and transfer all coins each time you claim gas.

Neo developer never tries to develop neo wallet for a 32bit operation because it needs a 32bit operation system to establish neo wallet. I found so many people are talking about that but the fact that the developer is never trying to make or at least release the more version to support 32bit operating system.

I agree with you neotracker the only way to store neo in 32bit OS.
But it's developed by the 3rd party. But it can be trusted and neotracker already supported all of the neo assets.

If you keep your NEO coins in neotracker you will get free GAS coins. I kept my NEO coins in this site and i have not faced any issues till today.

Trusting a third party web wallet for storing your coins is not really good. Ledger can be used to store your Neo in a safer way. Use the Ledger Manager to access your coins. If you don't have one, you can download them from here (https://www.ledgerwallet.com/apps/manager). Open them, and connect your ledger to the computer and unlock them. Download the Neo application and open the Neon wallet. Once all is set up, you could see the "Wake up Neo". On the neon wallet, click "Login using a Ledger" button. You are given a new Neo address, and transfer all your Gas and Neo to the ledger address.

NEO or some altcoin require a lot of RAM to run wallet, so if the developer does not offer a 32bit version then you probably will not find it. Choose 3rd party wallets that support NEO.
Good lucky!
