Yes it is. Definitely this year is for the success of etherem. I've read at some website that Steven Nerayoff said Ethereum's value could be triple this 2018. So, goodluck ethereum investors!

yes at the beginning of this year ethereum has increased significantly, growth and popularity of ethereum continue to increase along with the increase of ethereum price which a few months ago has decreased drastically.

I will argue that the most exciting and relevant project in 2018 will be Ethereum. I predict that this is Ethereum´s year. There are a number of well known milestones upcoming for the protocol itself but I find the milestones in the Ethereum eco-system even more exiting and game changing. Ethereum will become the leading and eventually most talked about network outside the crypto world in 2018. It will also remain relatively unchallenged by upcoming tech like EOS, IOTA, Raiblocks because of the huge lead it has on the newer projects. This might change after 2019.  :)

I think it will be a dip for ethereum this year. I'm a fan of ethereum but the next upcoming massive update in the BTC network would make it more popular than ever. So, I think BTC will go to moon this year.

Thing behind ethereum is that it has good community, people see btc price to be to high to get in and the ethereum as competitor so they opt for it, because of big market cap and use cases etc. Many ICOs  and dApps are lunching on ethereum network and thus creating good demand for it, some ICOs even accept ETH only. You have plus many people who talk "ethereum is next bitcoin" , " it can do more" etc. which actually is true but yet decentralization comes to question regarding the whole network since I think we will see more centralized nodes because running  node there is costly for sure. But future does indeed look bright for ethereum.

It will continue to grow especially as more and more ICOs lean towards using the Ethereum for their projects, Ethereum is still very new technology and we saw how long it took for blockchain to become noticed in the mainstream, thankfully I think for Ethereum it will come quicker as presently there is a lot of focus on bitcoin and the cryptop world.

A x 3 of what it is now is possible, I would even say a x 10 isn't completely out of the question.

Etherum has a good reputation and transaction volume is helped by more projects using the etherum platform. This is why the number of transactions using etherum is increasing every time. All things are very likely to happen, the increase in etherum prices that can be multiplied over the time is possible to happen. Looking at the current conditions there are still many projects that will use etherum as its token platform, etherum will be one of the biggest coin other than ripple and also of bitcoin as its leader.

I agree and believe in the future of ETH. Many ICOs are using ERC20 as a platform. This will promote the value of ETH. By the end of 2018 ETH will be $ 3,000

Forks are very profitable for their founders so we are definitely going to have more forks in 2018. They are pretty good to make money for community too, but I don't think they could be useful from the tech point of view.

Yes, I believe that this year ethereum is good choice for investment. We know that ethereum has stable price for many time. So, it is one of choice for the good future :)

Yes there will be more forks because everyone wants to create the next big coin.

I think the token etherium is the king of all sorts of other tokens etherium and if it appears other etherium I think it's just a copycat because the etherium itself has reached its peak point.

Maybe better find to next Ethereum coin who can get profit same like Ethereum. I don't think so Ethereum have a good technology but much more hype.

I believe that 2018 will be the year of the golden era for the Ether, technological innovations will be introduced in the form of a Casper protocol and many more ICO will be released on this platform for this year.

many people say that 2018 is a good year for ethereum, and for hardfork I think it will be in this year but either more or less from the previous year and what I hope is that ethereum continues to grow well and become famous.

hopefully etherium zero can rival the token etherium in the future, and hopefully to get the new altcoin is very easy.

I think it's safe to say 2018 will be a mostly good year for most altcoins.

There'll probably some crashes, here and there, but eth definitely seems like a safe investment for the year!

exactly, this year is for ethereum, after the big pump of this ethereum last year (2017), eventually this year (2018) is the another owed year for ethereum, because most of the investors are switching in eth and some other projects are creating in eth blockchain so the high demand/favor is in ethereum now. while bitcoin suffering a correction, ethereum is soon to skyrocket to the moon.

I am very confident about Ether and this year will best for Ether buyers and investors because  Ether will rise more from current level because Ethereum is a decentralized platform for applications that run exactly as programmed without any chance of fraud, censorship or third-party interference.And also Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.And currently we can see most ICO using Ether platform so Ether have bright future.

Looked over plenty of information, and was surprised. I did not expect growth of Ether, but now will try on him to earnings money.

I think Ethereum is queen of coin for this year. We can see in the market that the price of ethereum is so high for any time. So, maybe this year is good future for ethereum. I am believe it  ;)

Ethereum the most top of altoin, for him will be 2018 very profitable, I read that he can catch up with a bitok if Vitalik vipustit couple of new news on Ethereum, then already would go to growth to him, and but I think all most interesting will begin in March. ;D

I though this thread is a poll for 2018 and Ethereum can have many fork this year, Well it turn out like they are just praising Ethereum and becoming number 2 in the rank, But well ETH really took the 2nd rank from ripple when the price pump and investors of ripple didn't expect it at all, And the sudden increase on the market cap of Ethereum was tremendous and I think it is because of the tokens involve in the exchange in the Etherdelta.

In this year 2018 probably it is the year of ethereum significally increase of value from time to time, i think it is the time we invest in ethereum. I know most of our investor they noticed the increase of ethereum.

Haven't read interesting things about ETZ, but ETH keeps growing based on the amount of ICO's using it too.

I cannot predict things.But I do wish that it will be a great year for everthing.Hoping that ethereum will rise up to its value and not just ethereum but on all altcoins too.And really looking forward to greater projects and campaigns.

Usually any forks positively influence on price of any altcoin. If there will be more forks, ETH price might go up too.

Do put knkw anything about the forks yet. The strategy and planning for the forks all dependent upon the developers and with the entry of vitalik into the ether we might just see some goodness in the market rise. It has always been good how vitalik took the things seriously while developing the plans which ate long term and sustaining. With the start of year I’m sure more rigid and at the same time dynamic plans might have released by this fellow.

The ETZ could be good sign for the ether rise and speculation is the only thing that’s playing for it.

Holding Ethereum is the best way to secure an investment this year. Unlike aiming for an ICO to boom in the market and spending a sum in crowdsale. A build up ICO is less riskier anyway but expect less in return.

it is very good with etherzero maybe the coher ethereum coin can get etherzero coins for free as a bonus. we can look forward to it and see if etherzero coins can be good in the market.

I know etherium price now is stable but because the bad news about crypto makes it still in bloody.
I feel this crypto has very bad month now and hopely it can stop soon and bloody can stop.

Ethereum is a proven favorite holding its position on number two. As for EtherZero, the new Ethereum hard fork, the team behind the project are still a mystery. Reportedly, EtherZero team is made up of 20 people, many of whom are located in different countries. Ethereum prices will really go up in 2018, and i hope they are able to resolve the grey areas in this much needed fork.

One of the great coins, will show itself in full glory this year, of course will grow not as before but still . One of those coins to keep in your briefcase.
