If you can guess, eth or bitcoin cash which will first hit btc?

In my opinion it will be ETH. It has all the traits which it needs to be in a good cryptocurrency. Swift transaction times and costs. A great blockchain. Has a lots of tokens over the smart contract addresses. Its importance just can't be undermined. While bch on the other hand is just shit and nothing more than that.

Do you mean which one will surpass bitcoin as far as in market cap?  Ethereum's market cap has the potential to surpass Bitcoin's marketcap, this is quite possible.  Now as far as price per coin, no Bitcoin has a more limited supply than Ethereum, therefore Ethereum would need to pull in 4 times as much marketcap as Bitcoin's in order to surpass it in USD price per coin.

Bitcoincash is a trap one obviously. I don't buy it and I also don't trade it on exchanges. I like ethereum. I think ethereum can't surpass bitcoin's price, but ethereum can make $10k this year.

Price, neither of them will ever surpass bitcoin, market cap ethereum will (bitcoin cash obviously can't given my answer to the first part (they have the same supply)).

I do agree that ETH carries a great block chain with itself but if you look the trend closely most of the miners have moved from BTC to BCH mining just because of a great mining reward and easy mining capabilities. Moreover it has gained a lot of value too. Not much sure but people are really taking BCH as a good way out from btc.

If I had to guess which would, probably Ether, it carries so much value, most projects are made on its network. Bitcoin has the title of first cryptocurrency, which will hold its value for a long time. In actual utility to the user Ether surpasses bitcoin.

In my opinion both coins don't have the ability to beat bitcoins.Maybe ETH can be considered as good alternative for bitcoin investments but bitcoin will be the best always.

Difficult question but I think no one will sell his btc for bcash for the long term so I think that will be ethereum first hit bitcoin.

No hope for bitcoin cash in this competition. A time will come when bitcoin cash will die / the blockchain of bcc will be just a ghost blockchain.
As for ethereum, i don't think it will overtake bitcoin. Chances are very low. Bitcoin is the leading crypto currency and will be the leading one in the future.

If you are talking about coin that will hit Bitcoin I do not think any of them will hit bitcoin, but in terms of price ethereum price will surpass bitcoin cash because etheruem price is steadily going high because of the smart contract while bitcoin cash is always being pump.

The answer is not at all obvious. Naturally, in all respects ETH is better and I believe in it. But with the fall of bitcoin, all it fans will immediately go into bitcoin cache, which can cause absurd growth, which temporarily will make his TOP-1.

It's the same thing with other thread on what is more reliable Bitcoin or Ethereum, now this time is Bitcoin Cash over Ethereum so both of them are good coins as well but Bitcoin Cash is just the hard fork of Bitcoin meaning that they have so much in common that's why for me I would still pick Ethereum over Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash with personal reasons, Ethereum ERC20 smart contract made it cool and more popular because of its scalability and speed.

Bitcoin's position made it seated as the number one cryptocurrency in the market but its not the only of its kind, Ethereum could beat Bitcoin's features and capabilities. Although Bitcoin's market capital value is the only thing it advances and made Altcoins puts behind it's back but it's very clear that Ethereum offers more what users want like scalability and speed.

Currently I think the future of the crypto market will be decided by Ethereum. Bitcoin will remain valuable but it will not grow as strong as it has in the past few years but will give way to Ethereum. Ethereum has a good technical background, it is based on bitcoin's ineffectiveness, so I think 2018 will be the year of Ethereum.

It may take awhile but I think eth can surpass btc marketcap one day.

I think Ethereum is the only project that stands a chance in competing with BTC (marketcap). Bitcoin cash is a good alternative to Bitcoin but not good enough imo.

It would be ethreum it is already closer with it's capitalization to bitcoin, but ethereum it's a platform with a lot of coins working at it's platform, bitcoin cash is just fork from bitcoin which could have also a nice potential, but i think if we are talking about interests and working project Ethereum accept coins and have working ICO's which also add value to the token

I would still choose etherum over bitcoin cash. Bitcoin cash is such a raw and upcoming coin to invest with while eth has something to prove on already. ETH is such a reliable and stable coin to invest with. Its price is always rising and people are quick to have profit in such time. ETH is also second to btc in comes of price and reliability. It doesn't often go down in price unlike btc.

yes Etherium is a good coin with a strong foundation and Etherium reportedly will soon do the hardfork again and we all want that with the hardfork can provide a good effect and speed up the transaction process

ETH has a lot more built in value than BCH. BCH is at best a way to transfer value.  cool.  ETH can do that, plus smart contracts, plus token platform, etc.

This is a really hard choice, both are very powerful now and due to different manipulations Bitcoin Cash became to accept almost everywhere. Etherum has more interesting project behind it's creation and it is actually used for creation of many other tokens and crypto currencies, smart contracts. And Bitcoin Cash is a simple newbie which got it's success only due to conspiracy of some big holders. It is no matter that Bitcoin Cash costs higher than Etherum, I really believe more in the future of the second one, but for current investments they both are good. Only future will show how the situation will turn.

Both are good enough but differ in all aspects but for me i'd rather choose ethereum because there are so many projects created under it and probably most people use this for it is often used.

If you talk about the price of both of them that will outperform bitcoin, I do not think both of them can. bch it's like troubleshooting with the problem.
And ethereal tend to be more stable and may take a long time to approach bitcoin.
But, if you talk about market capitalization I think ethereal will outperform bitcoin. We can see it in coinmarketcap their ethereal is very close to bitcoin.

With many project backed with ETH,it's more likely Ethereum is better than Bitcoin Cash.BCH only used by people who manipulated the price,so as the time passes,people will start to forget BCH while ETH keep developing and used by many other ICO project.But as for surpass bitcoin price,both coin have a long time to go,they have to beat the hype and market cap over bitcoin.So if you want to jump in,i guess ETH is a better choice.

BCH is no way greater than ETH in terms of technology. Its just a Bitcoin rip off. ETH is more superior than BCH it supports smart contracts, Dapps etc but in the terms of price Bitcoin cash will be higher because of its less circulating supply which is like 6 times higher than the other.

Although it seems like that bitcoin cash will replace ETH because of high price of BCH but It sounds like a dream because there is no alternative to ethereum excluding Bitcoin. I think it will be bitcoin cash, because if you compare it the price of both currencies Etherum and bitcoin cash, bitcoin cash is more higher and more expensive and it's more closer to the bitcoin price but we never know though, maybe Ethereum will reach bch price in this year and even take over it.

None of them will. Bitcoin has been there since day 1 of digital currency. Been dominant after than until now and i think no other crypto could ever hit or ever come so close for its market capitalization and price is way too high to compare it to any other crypto.

My point is, no one coin will be replaced Bitcoin now or in the future in the world of cryptocurrency, I'm sure for that. Because bitcoin is the reason altcoin exists, if bitcoin not exist, I think there is no altcoin which exists.

actually it fully depends on what the miners do, if they can make better ROI mining BCH in the future, they will switch and BCH will pump n BTC will dump.

For me I would say ethereum because even though bitcoin cash value has recently increase this past few days. Ethereum of coarse! I'm a big fan of Ethereum and I like how its price is going up now. From the lower ground, now finally Ethereum has something to say that it is the strongest Altcoin ever.

I absolutely agree with your point of view. No ICO is capable to replace Bitcoin in the near future. Perhaps people will create an entirely new cryptocurrency which will become a worthy competitor to Bitcoin but it have not happen yet.

It will obviously be ethereum. Bitcoin cash is a scammy coin which is mostly centralized by two people who want to control the way bitcoin works. These two people are Roger Ver and Jihan Wu and if you look closely you'll see them pumping and dumping bitcoin cash all the time. Their goal is to make more money and control bitcoin.

Ethereum on the other hand is run by Vitalik Buterin and has more ambitious goals. Ethereum is also much better in terms of technology because it has smart contracts.

I am choosing both ethereum and bitcoin cash for making a profit because so far, that two coins could give me a profit and it will gives me more profit. but for  a long term investment, maybe I will choose ethereum because this coin is like bitcoin which being a mother for hundreds of tokens erc-20 and I think ethereum will survive at the top of coinmarketcap.

Ethereum for sure. Bitcoin Cash (sometimes Bcash) is a coin with NO purpose. Just copying code from Bitcoin doesn't make it good. I would prefer Ethereum, but it will be beaten by Bitcoin if Segwit and smarter Contracts (through Segwit) will be available.

How bitcoin cash will still stay with its traditional system that consume so many energy. Ethereum has been planned to compete with visa on its scalability and there will be a lot of improvement through the official hardfork. So many hardfork will be implemented to make it becomes real. We can say that, the creation of BCH is only to destroy BTC performance and make people to diversify their investment into other coins. Certainly, BCH don't have any contribution towards crypto. My opinion is, Bitcoin cash is better position than ETh. Bitcoin cash current price is 2500$+ on the other hand ETH price is 1300$+ so it's essay to answer that, If this two hit bitcoin then defiantly bitoin cash will hit first because it's much better then ETh now. 

As my opinion ethereum is better than bitcoin Cash. Bitcoin Cash is having only bitcoin name not much good technology compare to ethereum. I suggest ethereum is better. They respond correctly and fix issue correctly.

As for me Bitcoin Cash has more chances to replace Bitcoin than ETH. Now Bitcoin Cash tries to take the leadership from Bitcoin in every possible way. And because of a strong team this can happen for sure. Especially if bitcoin remains so slow.

I am with ethereum. Most of the projects here use eth as a medium of exchange. And eth is more active altcoin than bitcoin cash.

As a bitcoin holder I’m pretty sure that none of the above will hit BTC (if you mean price per coin), however, I’d much rather put my money on ETH as a better investment if I had to pick one. Why? Simply because ETH has by far more variants of usage. I don’t have to remind that the vast majority of ICOs are ERC 20 tokens or (like COMSA) at least they accept ETH as one of the currencies.

I think I vote for ethereum. The great price movement of ethereum is amazingly surpassed the other coins in just a year. Maybe ethereum.

I think no one has such a great potential to hit btc at all. But as we know btc has lost a lot of dominance in the global market so we can't just be sure about all this. But if we see of such a case then bch might just match it up in value but it will be just because bch is already about double of Ether. if we see a pump it will be the first to reach btc. But in case of market cap surely ETH will win the race against btc as it has some great tokens running on it too.
