I think Tezos and Eos raised big funds, in the current icos i think Envion and Bankera have been a big success and they are still open for funding.

If you talking about successfull in terms of technology then I am pretty many of the top coins can e justified as successful ICO's

But in terms of profit I recently invested in Electroneum Coin due to lot of shilling coin on the internet. Had invested $200 and each coin was around $0.01 plus some early bird bonus gave me 21000 coins. When it hit the exchange the price was $0.08 and I got too excited and dumped everything with a easy profit of $1480 doing nothing. Now after a month the price is $0.16. I do feel regretted of dumping all the coins tough.

Anyways ICO's are great way to make easy quick money but also a bit on the risky side.

I was talking more about the ICO success itself, independent of the technology.

So it was NEO, and NEO became the first Asian token in a year, and I think it would be wise to be part of the crowd.

Best ICO's were NXT, IOTA & STRATIS, and obviously NEM which gave away free stakes that are literally worth millions now, unbelievable but true!

I don't know you ask what the mouth is successful, or profit, if is technology, I am very bullish on neo, I feel it technology is great, in the future, its development will certainly be very good

You guys forget about the project of AION ? When it is in their ICO the price of each token costs only $1 each if I'm not mistaken and now the price of each AION token cost $8.09 and also now at top 67 on Coinmarketcap. really gains massive growth on market!

There are lots of ways of measuring success, successful for the company, for the investors or for me personally? For me personally my most successful so far has been Zephyr (ZEPH).

Recently Envion claim to be the 6th largest ICO in history with more than 80 million dollars raise till now and still the ICO is open. Even Insurepal got the huge success is now on the ICO hot list as one of the trending token sales. Crypto-market is developing and a lot of established names are coming with their ICO's now so 2018 will be a year that will very important in crypto-world.

Yes very good example that a successful ico doesnt mean that the project is successful. Monetha is imo a scam. I dont understand why people just pump the price

In the past few years, NXT and ETH probably, they were the pioneer ICOs, although it's ETH that took off by huge magnitudes.

Not so much the most successful yet but the fastest ICO I've personally seen sell out has been EZ Token.
5,000,000 coins sold in 41 seconds.
I bought a batch as soon as they went live and by the time I finished my purchase they were sold out.

The op asked what the most successful ico's are and everyone is talking about monetary value?
That is the problem with ico's, too many people treat the token rewards as a quick profit before realising the future potential.
This leads to scam ico's because the scammers know people will buy their tokens just to realise quick profits.

I dont know what the successful ico's are but if monero, dash, ethereum and litecoin had ico's i would call them successful.
Not by price but by working useability and adoption which in turn leads to the coins value.
The ico's from last year have to mature and develop in order to be judged in this thread,

Yeah, what is success? Price? We have not seen enough time yet to see if price will go up or down. Or is it amount of money raised? I bet half of ICOs put in their own money, so others can see "wow what a lot of money raised, it must be good". That is not success, that is manipulation.

For me the most successful ICOs are the ones like Useless Ethereum Token or Useless Waves Token. They wrote a good page. Told the truth (unlike 99% of ICOs) and said they were going to use the money for themselves. And still raised millions.

i saw before many ico's before like neo, waves, electroneum, even now pincoin, envion, trade.io is best ico and also successful. although i missed many project before.

But from what I recall - WaBi did over 100x if you were a part of the presale.

Icon did like 50x + in first 2 weeks upon release, Aion did well too and I'm sure Wanchain will be the first eye witnessed 1000x project by myself :P

regardless of age and existence of the ICO or the Altcoins, the most successful ICO ever is no other than the Ethereum/ way back 2014 ETH offers ICO to raise money for the development it was so cheap that time just like it is 0.5 USD per token and 4 years after look at the ETH now it is a huge success.

Past ICO's which have raised a lot would be EOS, Sirin Labs, and also TenX. An ongoing ICO which seems to be raising a lot, and is now the 6th largest ICO would be Envion.

Tezos, but they could never launch it, and probably they will launch the token on exchanges in a few months from now. They raised a lot of money, but in terms of "opening" it, it was a crappy one.
Oyster Pearl was a good ico too.

I think in the economic market, the only criterion to measure whether a ICO is successful is that it allows you to earn enough money.
Come on, you come here is want to earn money and other standards can be ignored, so those ICO which 1000X is successful.

In my opinion, the most successful ICO's are on the top list of coinmarketcap.com. ETH, NEO, Monero they all deserve well. Ethereum has a great innovation which is now widely used by newcomers trying to put-up their own ICO.

The only ICO's that I'm aware that are verysuccessful are ICON and UTRUST. I regret not participating in  their bounty because the problem is I'm already on another bounty and I really want to buy UTRUST so I'll be waiting for the dip.

My most successful ICO is ADA,it gave me a lot of profits invested 2BTCs and got 32 in return i love joining solid ICOs but it takes time to get your profits,3months after ADA got listed in exchanges it became 6th place overthrowing a lot of solid coins in the top 20 CMC.

As per last year, Tezos and EOS was one of the ICOs that raised big funds. Looking at a list on some websites, FileCoin and Hdac made the most funds, and Hdac raising the most. Probably the funds raised by the big guys will propel them this year, and hoping that we'll also make a profit out of their coins.

For me it was Tezos. Now they have around $1 billion. And we're waiting for the launch :)

INS and next is SOCIALMEDIA MARKET.

According to icostats, the most successful ICO in 2017 would be QTUM, Populous & Neblio; they grow over 10000% compared to their ICO price.  :o
