I do not know what kind of a coin it is. But the name itself made me laughing. I saw funny names of tokens BDSM, cat, pig. I do not think this is an expensive coin. In any case, if you do not remember where it was taken, then you did not buy it. And if it got free, let it lie. Maybe grows some day.

There were a few beer coins launched in 2014, but none of them took off. They are all worthless now. This is one of their announcement threads.

These shitcoins take away from the real value that crypto's add to the real world, and in my opinion slow the mass adoption of them as it are these coins that people laugh at and say; dude it's a bubble..

It is an old dead coin I believe, not sure if it was a joke or serious but the value of beercoin would be equal to the value of one pint, and would rise and fall in price in sync with the value of beer. Kind of like those Macron, Trump coins that rise in value when they get support or something...

I suppose someone had a lot and decided to give it away? Or this is a new coin.

It will probably end up like the majority of airdropped coins (worthless and not trading) however, maybe sell 75% and hold 25%? I have been surprised in the past.

Maybe someone created beercoin as a fun game and eventually it will be forgotten as a lot of other rubbish coins.

When I read about the project, I thought that this was some kind of scam project. Who  could come up with such a strange name for serious project? I always look at the name and overall design of campaign. If the team did not have the intelligence even for this, then all the project will be even worse.

I think that Beercoin is dead for a long time yet. There is no information about it on exchanges platforms.  It is not traded and its price is zero. But I agree that the name is good enough, lol.

Oh how can I see the website of beercoin is not in working order and in general there's no activity on the stock exchange.
It can be concluded that the cryptocurrency is dead and there's no point in HODLing it. This is opinion!
