3, because I did not start early enough.

Other than that the system is perfect, and has good developers.

Idk how I feel about it anymore.

My main problem, and I bet others are having it too, is that ALL of my transactions are ending up in the low priority queue and take hours to even show up as 0/unconfirmed, even though all my transactions are charging me fees (that didn't happen a month ago at all) and most of them are transferring over 1.0BTC. I look at the current queue of all transactions at http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/ (http://bitcoincharts.com/bitcoin/) and see many normal priority with no transaction fee's, or some lower than the one I paid.

How is bitcoin going to be able to compete with credit cards, when credit cards are able to let me charge small amounts without making me wait for hours?

So at this time, probably 3/10, since using a credit card is still the easier and quicker option.

Hopefully you are using the Bitcoin client v0.3.23 or higher, so that when a fee is required, the fee paid can be as little as a half millibit (or 0.0005 BTC, ... which is under a U.S. penny at the current exchange rate).  With a fee, it is unlikely that your transaction will not be included in the next block or two.  Though that still is a night and day difference from the two-second time that a credit card authorization takes.

There are some interesting developments in this though, ... between the Mt. Gox Voucher, or simply accepting the risks for small transactions and taking a bitcoin transaction as payment without even requiring a single confirmation.

Thats weird, I have been sending bitcoins without fee and before an hour the transaction is confirmed.

would definitely be a 9, from a pretty much 0 startup to where it is now is simply amazing, sure u can bitch and moan about the issues that its had but these are just teething issues.

i'm keen to see where it goes in the future, all we can hope for really is a wider adoption :)
