Title: Van3cespencer7

Van3cespencer7 scams me for a little over 200 usd.

I sent him 2 BTC and he never deposit back the cash into my bank.

His account is registered in March 2012 and I suspect he has other alias. Any moderator can check his ip address and possibly prevent more fraud from this person?

Can moderator post his IP address and find out what other account is sharing the same IP and post it here?

Thank you

Can moderator check this guy Xin Zhao (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=136626) and his IP address match Van3cespencer7.

I have reason to believe they are the same person given his style of writing and attempting to "offer"  Van3cespencer7's info for 1 BTC.

I suspect he has more than just 2 accounts.

Anyone here with database access willing to help?

We should not let scammer run amok.

Think he is also trying to scam other seller:

The only one with IPs is Admin such as Theymos. No moderator has access to IPs, and Theymos will not provide the IPs unless provided a court order to do so. I had a major issue with a user here and after many threats wanted to seek legal counsel but was not able to have his IPs or locations when I tried getting a hold of Theymos for it.

So, what is stopping moderator from creating ID to scam people?

there is nothing stopping any mod on any forum doing it and I am sure a lot of them do use fake accounts to scam

Yes. I figured he registered in 2012 and have plenty of opportunity to scam. Why wait till now to scam for 2 BTC?

Unless someone with DB access can change that registration date easily, or someone who bought that account for cheap.

You know people are allowed to buy sell accounts here. Most of them are getting used  to do scam.

Admin could check for dupe accounts. But that still wouldn't be enough evidence for it to be the same user, unless he/she has multiple matching IP's.

It is beyond my doubt that they are the same person seeing he used the exact same phase on different accounts.

Well then I guess you have played all your options. Your wrote a negative feedback and starter a scam accusation. The rest is up to admins. I see some trusted members already gave him negative feedback as well. So hopefully admin will look into it and put a scammer tag on him/her

Sorry for your loss. Remember to escrow in the future :)
