Title: New Coin $0.00 on exchange.. What price do I pay?
Post by: cafox on January 13, 2018, 04:40:21 PM
If a coin is list on an exchange for $0 and they are taking orders.. I see orders placed from .0002 to .001 Eth.  What is the strategy here?  Do I place an order for a low amount and risk missing out if the total initial orders above me exceed the coin limit?

Thanks,
Chris

It is better to stay away from such coins/token because they don't have any value in the market. It is probably the owner of that token is trying to warm up the market and nothing else. Usually tokens with a future potential will find at least some value in the market. But tokens with no future potential will take such routes to warm the market up. It is best to avoid such tokens or coins at any cost. You may end up loosing all your investment.

There are many coins with minimum value but no trading. Check to see if there are both  buy and sell orders listed and being filled. If there is no turnover there is no value.
