I also like bitcoin because i's a financial system with many APIs that are open for everyone and allow people to build stuff just for the curiosity and he fun of building. Its basically a like a vending machine where you get you bag of chips. It can be adapted to anything. If Bitcoin will be a real currency you will need to be able to spend it
