Title: Titan X mining
Post by: golden_pineapple on January 13, 2018, 06:43:50 PM
Hi, I'm doing some minor mining on a VFX rig and wondering if anyone can give me tips on improving hash.

I'm mining ZCash on a Titan X 12GB / Windows 8.1 (bootcamped Mac Pro) / Afterburner overclock of +200 Core Clock. I'm using EWBF Miner (0.3.4b) and mining on Flypool.  I'm getting about 375 MH/s avg.

Would mining on Linux give me a bump?  Anything else I can to do get the numbers up?

Thanks much!

Titan X Pascal?

Would love to see your hashrates for skein, phi, nist5, ... Please share it with us. :D

I assure you, you are not mining equihash at 375 mh/s with a single Titan X.

Typically, equihash is measured in Sols/s (or h/s). 375 mh/s on equihash is like having over a million GTX 1060s

Titan X Maxwell I believe (got it when they first released Titan X). Do I need to set up each different miner (skein, phi, nist5) or is there an easy way to benchmark? Cursory Google isn't giving me some kinda general benchmarker.

Oops! I was going by what the flypool site said regarding MH/s, but yeah I see now it is inconsistent in the marking - chart says MH/s but box says H/s and also the miner in cmd says sol/s. So yeah a measly 375 H/s.
