Title: HELP] I try to send money from my Electrum Wallet but "Insufficient Fund" Popout Post by: fire123asd on January 13, 2018, 09:33:52 PM Hello Everyone,
I am a beginner in cryptocurrency. As learning how to use the wallet, I tried to send a bit bitcoin to the Electrum wallet on my MacBook. It was succeeded, but when I tried to send the bitcoin back to my Coinbase account, it failed. I was having 0.9469mBTC. (Picture 1 & the "balance" at the bottom left corner of Picture 2) Picture1 https://imgur.com/a/qU54A Picture2 https://imgur.com/a/6dFrY When I type the amount in, it shows "not enough funds" at the bottom left corner (Picture 3) And a window said "insufficient funds" pops out when I tried to press the send button. (Picture4) Picture3 https://imgur.com/a/NLuXC Picture4 https://imgur.com/a/2cmDA I tried to press the "Max" button. It auto-fill into "2", and it seems working. (Picture 5) But a window pop up when I press send, said "this transaction requires a higher fee or it will not be propagated by the network" (Picture 6) Picture5 https://imgur.com/a/CNZqV Picture6 https://imgur.com/a/9Wrkm I understand it requires transaction fee for a bitcoin transaction. But is it the only problem here? I have tried many times but I still cannot transfer my bitcoin. How should I do to take the coins out from the wallet? And as you can see the number of coins is really low, does it mean I have to pay a fee higher than the coin I send? Sorry for the poor English, I am not a native speaker. Please point out if there are any statements that I need to further explain. Thanks for your help. If you drag that slider to the furthest point to the left and then hit the max button it'll show you the most you can send. You have to pay a fee to pay miners for mining your block and recognising the transaction. A higher fee = a greater priority. Edit: change the server your connected to on the electrum network settings. If anything that fee is high. Title: Re: HELP] I try to send money from my Electrum Wallet but "Insufficient Fund" Popout Post by: jackg on January 14, 2018, 12:03:52 PM Ahhh. I took another look at that screenshot, and OP, you're trying to send all of your 0.9 mbtc with a 1mbtc fee. That looks a bit like a bug that it still thinks you have 2mbtc in your wallet + the fee. That transaction is too small to do anything with. If I were you, I'd wait until you get more coins into that wallet.
