It is hard to predict what price Bitcoin will sit into by the end of 2018 because it might or might not do the same pattern again like what happened to it in the past year. If that is the case, I am sure that Bitcoin price will go above 20000$ if what happened last year will repeat again. If not and btc becomes bearish, then I expect btc price to sit below 10000$ by the end of the year.

I would say it will hit 28K mark by the end of year 2018 and will gradually come down to 20K - 22K mark and will see a resistance from the supporters in the early 2019. Again it will start raising in prices after the drop. Time to reach 50K mark is not far away, we will see it happen in the late 2020.

Whenever there is a sudden change in price there will be a fall in price that follows before some people start resisting the price fall.

I think it can reach the $25000 before 2018 ends but for now it is price is moving around $13000 to $15000 which is quite good. My $25000 assumptions is not a pretty one prediction and maybe bitcoin will or will not meet that because its hard to assume if you will look to bitcoin's state right now.

I have two estimations for the year end one on the positive side and one on the negative side. Positive mind makes me think that btc price will reach a 100,000$ quite easily until the end of the year. While the negative mind says it will come to around 6-7K$ until the end of the year. I am quite sure that they will not be any wayout between them.

2017 was an incredible year for bitcoin, but I don't think we have even come close to adoption of it. Yes people have heard about it, but there are still tons of people who are hesitating about stepping into crypto. With the recent flood of new people coming into crypto who are now collecting all the alts they can see, I predict Bitcoin to grow even more than it did in 2017. It grew from 1k to ATH 20k and ended with 14k. For BTC to double which is basically nothing in crypto it only needs to go to 28k. We could be seeing 140-280k by the end of 2018.

it's not possible to predict even if you are deeply committed to crypto , I remember Adam meister less than two years ago where he used to keep saying that bitcoin will reach 1000$ in 2020
and that guy is really into bitcoin you can check his youtube channel , his price goal came way earlier than he expected
personally  I'm  predicting a slow and steady growth this year , cause bitcoin was already hyped in the last 3 months or so that's why I think the price climb will be reasonable this year

In 2017 we saw bitcoin price gown more than 10x from starting to end..I don’t think we will see this again in 2018...10x for bitcoin is next to impossible now..but still I feel it will be atleast 2x this year

Everybody is entitled to make their prediction about bitcoin's price but none of us can be sure what exactly the future of bitcoin. It's always the demand of the people that will tell bitcoin's market price and if i have to make my own prediction, bitcoin will rise once again and setting new value high at 30,000$/btc.

It looks like a lot of people are predicting that Bitcoin will start in 2018 with a relatively stable price and make the market quite sluggish. By the middle of the year, rumors and many projects will be launched that left mixed opinions. By the end of 2018, it may be time for Bitcoin to grow and nothing will stop it.

I think it makes no sense to make predictions now. Because the Bitcoin real price at the end of 2017 was much higher than what I predicted. Anything may happen in 2018. But I think that Bitcoin will continue to grow and become more stable.

Bitcoin's price is very unpredictable, but based on its price chart history, its price rises as time goes by with minimal fluctuations. But on my opinion, i think it will hit $23,000-$25,000 at the end of 2018. Since users are becoming larger, and more are investing on it, its possible that it will reach that price.

I don't really know since its market value moves a lot so it is hard to guess how high or low will its market value will go at the end of this year. But one thing whih excites me is that its market value has a huge chance to be mre expensive this year. It is hard to predict the value of bitcoin right now as it's just the beginning of the year and we are still left with complete 11 months. As it was seen in the previous year the value grew unpredictably, I expect the same scenario also in this year. Currently, the price is around 14000$ but I think it would soon hit 25k and it will continue to grow positively...

In the month of December 2016, bitcoin price was $1000; it has touched $19500 mark by mid of December 2017. It has dropped to $12000 by start of January on the news of ban from Korea. But recovered later and now settled around $13000. By seeing all the developments, charts and movements of bitcoins, by the end of 2018, bitcoin is likely to cross $30000 mark and expected to touch $40000 mark. But this target is not easy to achieve many countries are likely ban or regulate bitcoin currencies. Addition to that bitcoin`s volatility has increased a lot. Transaction charges and transaction time is also increasing day by day. As a result bitcoin investors are shifting their investments to altcoins.

In February 2017 bitcoin reached $1000 and end of 2017 it was around $14000, but the price went up to $19000. If we compare bitcoin growth with last year, it would touch around $50000 within this year end (December 2018) However, the prediction may be 100% correct or may be it would reach more or less than that depends on bitcoin acceptance in few developed countries.

Well we can't predict the future but i've been reading some news about bitcoin prediction in 2018 and maybe some of you have heard that, the most surprising prediction is bitcoin's price will surpass the $ 100.000 in the middle of 2018. However all possibilities could happen and many bitcoin fans are hoping for this, i personally have sold all of my bitcoins last year,  i think it is not too late to rebuy, buying as much as i can.

As currently prices are lying on the same values and it will rise and I am sure the ending price of bitcoin this year will be in six digits because rise is just s single pump and if bitcoin acceptance as currency will get started this year then bitcoin will gain more values in coming time of this year so be hopeful everyone wants to invest in bitcoin and the facts is they will soon invest and prices will be in the profitable zone.

Funny you ask because I have been thinking about this all week this week and originally I thought we would end up at 100k. Then after some careful consideration I backed off that bullish sentiment and thought more accurate would be 45-60k based on how much money is in bitcoin. However now after understanding what Lightning Network represents and the capabilities behind it I finally landed on a 75k price point for the end of 2018 which would be a rough 5x from the beginning of the year. Pretty sick returns yet compared to traditional markets, eventually that will taper off but I don't see that happening in 2018 nor do I see a negative return this year.

I do not think that at least somebody will give you such a forecast taking into account all the recessions and upsides that have passed recently we will count on a good figure

Predictions are predictions, some predict $40K some $5K some $100K, if you believe in bitcoin, price does not matter hold it and sell if you need money. I think it will be $30K

Well for me it will be over 20 000 USD since Bitcoin's marjet value almost had it to reach this amount last year it just happened that backdrop took place. But since Bitcoin's market price  is now recovering, and if this thing will vontinue, surely that is something to look forward with. I don't care how much will be its final worth before this year end, I will contiinue investing into it for the future

No one can predict the value of crypto currencies but not withstanding my own prediction of the value of bitcoin is that the price will be approximately $20 000 to a bitcoin .

It is very hard to predict it. But we know the BTC algorithm is intended to be solved at the threshold of 21000000 BTC. So less bitcoins around more increases the price .... like gold

I think that at the end of this year, the price of bitcoin is too high. I think the price more than the high price of the years before :) So, don't worry to buy bitcoin for this time :)

Predicting such a thing with any real accuracy is difficult because a year is a long time in the crypto world and so much can change, we have seen how much the price was influenced in just the last week alone. I think we will be somewhere around $50000 but it's really just a stab in the dark.

I have learn not to be quick to predict the price of bitcoin anymore. Cryptocurrency is unpredictable and has a way of doing it own thing. We should be realistic when it comes to crypto prediction. All I know is that the price will increase but it won't be in a rush and won't be $100,000 this year either. Instead it will come with a steady flow and finally ends with a high price 2018 ending.

Well, I think we shouldn't be fast in predicting the price of BTC or even any digital coin.
What I know for sure is that the price of bitcoin will increase gradually but it won't be too quick.
At the end of 2018, I am looking at between 20,000-30,000, at least this looks promising.
We might see a price of about 1$5,000 or even a bit higher in the middle of the year.
But with the way bitcoin is flowing unsteady I still think reaching this prediction is even still a bit quickly.

People think that the year 2018 will be like 2014 for bitcoin while others thing it islike in 2017.  Some of my friend even told me that Bitcoin has a chance to go up to 60k USD but I think that is too much.  Even with LN implementation I believe that Bitcoin will peak at $40k if eve it will skyrocket this year.  There are lots of factor to be consider and one of them is the government acceptance.  With the noise of Bitcoin ban in Sout Korea and China, this will definitely hinder the Bitcoin price growth.

It"s hard to predict the value of bitcoin but i guess bitcoin will surprisingly increase it's value until the end of 2018 and it will continue to gives us a good profit this year and in coming years.

I think it will be range bound for a while. It won't be 100,000 but it also won't be 0  ;)

There's a lot of assumption about Bitcoin price for this year.

Usually range from 40K USD to 100K USD before the end of 2018.

And if we get back with Bitcoin performance last year, and make it as basis for our prediction. We can clearly see the possible value of BTC this year.

hm i think it's too early to predict but since bitcoin value now is decreasing there's a possibility that before end of the year bitcoin investors buy to make profits and the bitcoin demand increase and bitcoin become high again, just my opinion.

My wild is guess is 60K about a 500% increase. If the current market capital raises to about 4 trillion dollars. Aprox 800% increase. I think the value of BTC overall is going to decrease as a percentage of all crypto. This has been happening lately. During this  last correction, BTC actually gained more market share percentage  over all  crypto currencies. It was hovering around 33 percent according to coin marketcap and at this momment it's 34.1%. BTC will be about 20 percent dominant in the market as alt coins continue to gain more traction.

Currency prices are unpredictable, he influenced by various factors, the biggest impact I think is the impact of regulation, as now the price of the currency by a lot of volatility, I think if 2018 governments open-minded for COINS, BTC can still break through $20000!

Well bitcoin is unpredictable and at that we can only speculates what the price may be or how successful bitcoin is going to be in this year 2018, judging from what we have seen in 2017 I think bitcoin is going to rise to as high ad $25000 in the first half of this year after this dip fall there will be a price boom again.

I think for me no one knows what will be the price of Bitcoin in 2018 because it depends on buyers traders and investors but i know Bitcoin price will go up because it is so famous in the whole world now.

I am speculating that it will be at least $25,000 before the year ends or even probably before the first quarter ends, but that would be too optimistic. Right now bitcoin prices have really gone too high to be able to support his level of trading. So I think it might be a slow climb from here on out. As of now bitcoin price is hard to predict but if you will look back the years before it will surely surge up by the end of this year. Some investors predict that it would be $40k up, so it woyld be better to start buying bitcoin now for better profit in the future.

Based on my opinion I think at the end of 2018 bitcoin will increase higher than the price during the end of 2017. Bitcoin will still be the strongest cryptocurrency in the virtual world and it will be accepted as a means of payment by many stores in the world. Of course bitcoin will not be banned but it will recognized.

Last December 2017 the prices of bitcoin is not really expected by all of us since bitcoin last march 2017 is so hard to reach even $1000 so how come right? That bitcoin reach $20,000 last December. So I give my opinion since this is prediction we don't know the future of bitcoin in this last month of the year 2018. Well, for me I feel that bitcoin will soon reach $40,000 since I know that last price in December 2017 will become double this year pr this last month of year 2018.

The bitcoin's price will be a big dropped then it gonna raise into the moon in the next 3 months about 30k$ i guess.

If seen from the growth of bitcoin every year, I think the price will be more expensive than years earlier. We can see how the rapid increase in 2017, so I think in the year 2018 bitcoin prices at least will increase over $20k.

Bitcoin price really varies based on the assumption of different experts, but as to me, as I am being positive with everything that I am doing, I know that bitcoin value was just like roller coaster, it is hard to predict sometimes the price is heart breaking because of the price hike but it was also just like a heart attach when it becomes lower than the expectation.

In early 2017, the prediction for bitcoin price was around $2,000. It shifted to $5,000 until analysts saw how speedily the trend turned bullish and decided to peg their forecast as high as $25,000. It nearly got to that level, at least $20,000+ ATH wasn't bad. Now, in this 2018 I guess many will also talk high in the range of $30k ish. This won't be bad either if anyone talks that way. After all, it costs nothing to make predictions. However, newbies should note that all predictions should be handled with research.

It is hard to predict because the price of bitcoin is going up down up down. It depends on the news that takes effect in the price. But i think the peak price of bitcoin this year 2018 will reach to $25,000.

I would say that it will hit 1 million again and become stable in that price ( not literally ). It will be a good time for investors to participate on it, bigger price, bigger profit.
It affects not only the big fishes but also the small earners for they will earn a bigger profit too, thru investing or holding.

if we only compared last year then end of 2018 my prediction is $20k * 2. but if we compare from 2009 or 10 i can't predict. When the price hit $20k and stable at $16k or $17k we thought it would not go behind $15 but after few days it came down. And recently it went $9k. In this condition how we can predict what will be the price for BTC after 11 months.

Right now it is very hard to predict the market conditions and also the valuation of the bitcoin is low and i don't think it will be good to predict the BTC now because the market is trending sideways and there is no momentum, volatility, or any strong traces of demand is seen till now so that it confirms the uptrend and nor the downtrend is confirmed yet so that we can short sell the BTC for day trading profits. Right now i think we should be waiting for any trend to get confirmed and then we should act based on that trend. If the uptrend is confirmed then we can see the target of $25,000 and if the downtrend is confirmed then we can see again $5000 on the price chart.

Its really hard to say anything as the many countries are running away and even proposing a ban on the crypto currency so there might be a drop in the price . But , if the countries does not respond that way then the price might increase to around 30,000 bucks but still not sure on anything.

Nah, that is a lot of money just for the end of the year, i can easily predict a $30,000 by the EOY for bitcoin.
Or maybe it will be touching a little bit more than that, but 60 thousand dollars? No way, that is a lot of money for me.

There is no assurance that the price of bitcoin will be the same as 2017 happened. Maybe it will rose up or dip down. Unfortunately, today's value affected by the banning of the other countries. Hopefully, the price will be back at the end of the year. If I will predict the value definitely, it is around 8-10k usd.

It is too difficult to predict anything about decentralized cryptocurrency like bitcoin. Its peer to peer exchange system, autonomous nature making it more and more volatile day by day. One month ago when bitcoin was in upward rally, many experts have predicted many figures. According to them bitcoin price was expected to cross $40000 mark by the end of 2018. But due to some unexpected developments like ban from Korea and regulation indications from Japan has restricted bitcoin`s growth a bit. If thing will not imorove in future it will be difficult for bitcoin currency to cross even $20000 mark.

Yes I agree with you. Economic experts often change their mind about the price. It's hard to predict in what direction the price will go. There is a lot of hype around Bitcoin. I think it will be around 20k $.

nothing can predict bitcoin at end in 2018 if become up or down,. but if you check the roadmap of bitcoin last 2016 the price is $10,000 and in year 2017 they got target at $19,000 and now january 2018 its big dump back to almost $11,000 something, because of bullish people out there but i think soon are get back to normal then they up again.

I think it will be difficult to achieve. This is a very optimistic assumption. Last year the price reached 20k $ and later the correction began and continues to this day. According to me, the more likely it is $ 20k.

Last week ago the price of bitcoin became lower $10,000 and after few days it will back again to the price of higher than 10k dollars and now price is 11,000 dollars and for sure the price will continue to increase now because the dumping for sure is over and now this is the right tine the price increase again.  For me the possible price of the bitcoin before end of this year 2018 will be $40k or $50k dollars that's only I think base of what I see and base on my own research for sure it will happen but before that happen we need unity for buying and keeping bitcoin.

We will never know, as I have observed from the past year I think its value might increase higher than last year's. The difference may be little but it will mean a lot to the users. However, I must say that the bitcoin price varies depending on the number of demand. I guess it will somehow reflect to the future price of bitcoin.

Every predictions on bitcoin price level should be jettisoned because every predictions in the past never was accurate. Let us just live each moment with bitcoin as they come and quit bothering about where price gets to months ahead. The price level used to bother me in the past. But it doesn't anymore and that has really helped to keep my emotions under control.

Nobody knows what the future of bitcoin with regards to its prices that is. Anything from 20K and above at the end of this year will be good already.

I think the bitcoin price fluctuations will be the same as the year 2017, the price will fall at the beginning of this year, but will rise in the middle of the year and will be maximally learned, then at the beginning of the next year will fall back and so on

Right now the prices are hovering at around $11K to $12K per coin. I am very hopeful about 2018 because of two factors. First, there is a possibility that a Bitcoin ETF will get approved by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). And secondly, NASDAQ is going to list BTC futures sometime in the mid-2018.

The forecast told that the price of bitcoin can reach up to $60,000 which is very realistic to me and very attainable and that is why i am not selling any of my bitcoin right now because i really believed in bitcoin and i think that the price of $60,000 per bitcoin at the end of the year is a very achievable price and that is why i am hodling.

I saved half of my income I earned from my job in the real world by investing in bitcoin, until now I keep doing it every time I get paid from my job. I do this because based on some research I did about bitcoin as well as I read from some sources or from some experts on electronic currencies especially on bitcoin they predict that there will be a very strong spike in bitcoin by the end of 2018. on the basis of I am investing in bitcoin continuously without any indication because I am sure bitcoin will again repeat a momentum as it did in mid to late 2017 where at that time bitcoin increased to 19000 $. other than that I think now is the right time to continue investing in bitcoin as I do right now so if you are sure that your rookie should continue to focus on one goal of investing in padabitcoin like I do now.

Right now, that is surely hard to tell. Its market price is struggling at 10000 USD and if this thing will continue I guess its market value will be approximately 18000 at the end of this year. But if something will trigger its value to increase continuously just like last year, I do also believe that its market value will be able to reach the 20 000 dollar barrier this year.

As for now, I do not any have assumption of what will be the price of Bitcoin for the end of the year 2018 because we are just on its firsr month so it is really hard to do assumptions or wild guess because currently, Bitcoin price is constantly playing on a pump and dump situation every single moment around the price mark of $11,000-12,000 and because of that, I can not yet tell what maybe the price of Bitcoin in the end of 2018 so I am still waiting for it to come.

You must be thinking of the prices of gold or something. For BTC it's impossible. It has never remained in a small price range for a year and it will not do it this year. On the contrary, I will bet you that we'll see a swings of around 10k USD this year. Most likely between 6k and 15k USD.

It is out of question for bitcoin to stay at the same price for the complete year. Even minor altcoins keep fluctuating and here we are talking about the master of crypto land. The prices are going to take a huge leap by the mdi of this year and are going to again decrease little bit by the end of September or August. But it is for sure that in the closing months of 2018, the bitcoin is going to set a new target and record in the crypto market.

Predecting wouldn't be that easy. Many had explained that it could go as high as 35,000$ to 50,000$ dollar but look at what it is now today. Hit by google announcing the banning of cryptocurrencies jumps to end at above 7,000$ and slowly goes up which is way too far for the 35,000$. Now as of this posting it was about 8,400 in value. Yes, the seems a vast cost comparing the price of bitcoin right now, but if you analyze the graphical worth of bitcoin in the previous years, you will notice that bitcoin’s amount always drop in the first quarter and increase at the last quarter. During the last December, 2017 bitcoin’s price reaches 20,000$. I’m hoping that bitcoin will become more expensive in this year.  :)

I predict the value of Bitcoin by the end of 2018 will be around 500 million. I certainly hope the value is higher than the end of last year.

According to the rumors and specualtion by many of experts here in the forum last year that this year 2018 up to December bitcoin will become  60k$ up to 80k$ which is very high literally speaking. But nothing to loose if we hold on to it, but in my assessment I think it is in between 20k$ up to 40K$ before end of this year.

I think it would cross over 2200$ by the end of the year.

That's a good estimation mate. It is hard to predict a certain price since we dont know yet what will happen tomorrow or the coming days. If that current price of bitcoin will start to rise up to 12KUSD next month, then my prediction would be around 20K to 30KUSD before the year 2018 ends. And thats what I think as of now basing on the status of bitcoin price this month.

it is very difficult to predict bitcoin prices by the end of 2018, if these negative issues are more and more the bitcoin prices will decline further by the end of this year. but if a lot of positive news is in the middle until the end of 2018 I'm sure bitcoin prices will soar in price.
