Title: Dead coin back to life?
Post by: Discounted on January 14, 2018, 06:50:26 PM
Hey,

So I recently made a big loss by going into a pump and dump. Went from 0.24BTC to 0.045 BTC. Really depressed right now. But anyway. I found this coin called Veros. This coin
has been called a scam and it has been dead for a few months. Recently it has started to pick up volume. I thought it was a pump and dump but the volume has been to consistant for that. So I tried finding
information about why this price peak happend. Apparantly the developers are re-developing the coin. I've also seen that it will be getting added to Binance and Bittrex on the 24th of January. No one has confirmed this information. But it has been rumoured. What do you guys think about this coin? And is this my lottery ticket to make back my loss? I'm currently all in on Veros.

do not take a big risk if you don't want to fall deeper,
look at the marketcap of veroz,, under 200K usd and thats mean is very risky investments
but everything is in your hands mate

Well I honestly don't care anymore. I don't feel like taking 6 months to make it back.

In our business, the main peace of mind is endurance and of course faith! Be patient and if you do not have a movement for the month of February, drain it for any amount, earn it on something else!)

That seems like a good plan.

Personally, I hear about this coin for the first time and I would not advise you to take the last money to invest in it.

I dont mean to cause offence but the op is experiencing a typical gambling situation.
He lost funds on a pump and dump and is looking to make that back asap.
The best bet is to stay away from big gambles instead pick your time with a more trusted crypto and try and ride a rise in that,
Crypto trading takes patience.
Best of luck to the op making the gain  ;)

There are risks in any case, whatever you invest. Perhaps it makes sense to try to make money on this coin, but it is not worth all the money to invest in this coin. I would advise you to invest a little money in it and forget about it for a few months, I think so something can happen.

I thought it was a pump and dump but the volume has been to consistant for that.
PnD people buy coins slowly over several month typically in a way that masks a significant change in volume in order to keep the price low and stable. Once they've stocked up on plenty they then do the PnD. So if a coin's volume goes up a bit and remains stable for awhile, then the coin may be "in play" with a PnD group. Once you've studied graphs of a coin in the month leading up to a PnD, you can start to see the trends and then try and predict it for other coins that are basically "dead".

But then I can ride this pump and dump and be a dumper aswell ea? :D
Seems like a good plan to me.

How do you know that veros is to risky to invest? and how we will know method to check if he coin is good or very risky?

On my opinion, A coin is very risky if you invested all your portfolio in a single coin, and usually, I think if the volume is below 500k usd, That's a very risky token because it's not that popular to start with.

You might lose your .045 BTC if you risk all in one coin, thats not a good idea do not put all the eggs in one basket it might be a waste of your time.

I would surely agree on this! Looking at the marketcap of veroz can also be a good option to choose from first. Though it is all your choice, you can investment anywhere. Investment and trading must be really risky for everybody. That's okay. You are learning from it at the same time. All the best for you!

This is a huge risk for OP. It's difficult to just look at technical analysis in crypto as charts will be screwed by unusual activities - forks, scam accusations, p&d, etc, etc.

I wish you best of luck.

I don't understand why you take such a big risk to buy the dead coin, now there are so many good potential COINS for you to choose?

There are a lot of coins out there that have never been heard of so they sit at the bottom of the chart and no one pays attention to them, i don't know or have any idea about wether this coin is going to go up or not, but why take the risk, i mean why try to invest money into a dead coin while you can invest in some known coins which have a good poetential to rise, however it has a very low price so investing in it a bit like 10$ and seeing wether it will go up or not is wiser than dumpinjg all you have on it.

Can’t advice what Op should do or judge on what he might done in this moment.. I feel the same way in my newbie days,, feel disappointed because of so much excitement and try same kind of risky investments.. He might be wrong and suffer to a more deeper problem but taking the risk and trusting a coin of his choice is normal in cryptocurrency world..

maybe just because they think that this may have some potential for to goes up even they dead for and they make some study for i think also why this may for , but as what i see only is this is just because they believe on that coin for.

In your place, I would wait a bit more and look at what's going on, there may be some news about this coin, it's such a market that everything can change literally a day, so be patient.

Yeah but mostly it's no point in keeping the dead coins which may never go up and will always remains on the bottom of the market.

Nobody knows that. Could also be the other way around. Thats why I would only invest a small amount in "These Kind" of coins. But Hey, with small amount you could currently buy a big stake. ;) So if I loose at the end like $100 I dont care! Just my opinion. ;)

i'd rather choose to invest in good project ico with good team than a dead coin. but you said that you already all in Veros, so i'll just say good luck to you, friend.
