I currently have a Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB GDDR5 which I've tested mining Intense coin. I am getting an avg of 600H/s without overclocking. I have some money coming which I can use to upgrade, so I would like to know if it's worth it.

Both RX580 and 480 are like always sold out where I live and usually when they are in stock their prices are quite high. Something I noticed is that my cpu (130H/s) gets a lot more shares than my gpu at any hashrate. It doesnt matter how I configure the gpu settings, it always gives less shares than the CPU. Now I wonder if the gpu is just going bad.
