Title: Two RM 750X For 6 GPUS , Not Enough Cables Post by: nyellaminer on January 14, 2018, 07:35:47 PM Can anyone help me with a situation I am having. Each RM only came with 2 PCIE cables and I need a total of 12 for 6 GPUS and 6 Risers. It came with also 2 molex cables but that is only leaving me with a total of 8 cables if I had the extenders. I know I shouldn't use sata extenders. Any idea what I can do? I Just want to go about this in the safest way possible.

Looking at that power supply, you will need to make use of the other Perp connections. Just make sure you are pulling the correct voltage. +12V instead of +5V if powering GPU. That way you don't need to hack something together. Also, im running 12x SATA risers over 2 Cooler Master V1000 1000W PSUs fine for a while now. Everything within check and great temperatures. Imho depending on what GPUs you're powering you can be fine with SATA-powered risers. |
