Hi,

What in your opinion are the most undervalued altcoins for 2018 and why?

Yet the entire cryptocurrency market has started to fall, so buying altcoin may not be a good option now, and continuing to wait may be the best way to make money.

Started to fall ? We nearly reached 800b yesterday. It has been a tiny correction week though swinging from high 600 to nearly 800b.

There seem to be alot of coins around that are undervalued as they say, some nice projects around with some offering real solutions.

RDN, ONION to name just 2 out of a few dozen.

   Entire crypto-currency market is rising and falling entire time,
read more about it and follow it more closely and you will see it
for yourself. Many experienced traders will advise that this time
when market is going down is good time for buying.
   Ethereum is undervalued, Ethereum will be second place right
after Bitcoin. For that Ethereum need to pass BitcoinCash, and
for beginning that is double grow, and who knows can it go even
more until the end of the year.

I think NEM is one of those coins which is still undervalued and hopefully we will see a surge in its prices this year. I see great potential in it as people will start using it as a platform for new coins.

yes because lot of user buy altcoin and the price is rise up so it means this year the altcoin is most undervalued coins this is awsome for me. to buy altcoin.

I think 2018 is Ethereum year and we all be surprised with ETH price on the end of the year. It has a very good chances get closer to BTC.

Digibyte is still undervalued even at this price, I recommend you to grab few digibytes and hold for a long period.

when you visit coinmarketcap.com next time try scrolling down outside of top 10 or 20 and you will find the undervalued coins there. try looking for higher volume coins that have the volume but don't have the price or the bloated market capitalization of the top altcoins.

for example take a look at Byteball, Waves, PIVX, ... these are solid projects with a lot of potential of growth which is not yet met.

also at the end of the day there are also always pumping coins which get pumped big time every day.

I class the following coins as undervalued, IOTA, Stellar and Ethereum Classic.
I guess these coins never really got there break yet, but i feel that they will this year round.

I think KMD and Waves would be good investment after little correction. Still undervalued.  

ICX is booooming at a cheap price

there are no undervalued alternative coins in this year. i think all alternative coins have a chance to have a great opportunity and i believe that it always in the midyear. but if you want to know the undervalued in terms of toplist. you must visit in the coinmarketcap.com. in this site you know the top 100 coins and the other alternative coins that we called undervalued.example are the lykke and the mooncoin

What? How is continuing to wait the best way to make money? You don't earn anything by just waiting unless you are talking about holding an previous investment.

Also if you look at 2017 as a whole then crypto currency market has grown exponentionally. Look at the bigger picture and not just the weekly price fluctuations.

I think all altcoins has a great potential to be listed in Coinmarketcap by this year 2018 i found out that it will rise by mid year that is my speculation and my idea,no alternative altcoins will be undervalued they just waiting for the right time to be recognize.

Stellar is quite undervalued even though it's done well in the latter half of 2017.

I would say Siacoin is undervalued, it showed some potential in the late stages of 2017, but it didn't rise too much.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see if it will finally reach $1 this month or when.

As my concerns, DeepOnion is highly underestimated, the greatest team and the greatest supporters. It only needs some time to bloom. >_<

I think ADA.. it has a great value.

I'm always trying to guess what will be the new currency built around anonymity that will take away darknet markets from bitcoin, monero definitely is a contender and DeepOnion is starting to look really promising too

DeepOnion (ONION), Cardano (ADA), NAV, AST are all undervalued with huge potential for this year

I think that one of the most underestimated tokens is LBRY Credits (LBC). In my opinion, at the end of January, LBRY Credits should start growing and
move to the first 50 projects at the CoinMarketCap. This is due to the update site and a number of innovations that are planned in late January - early
February this year.

anyone can take their pick at the moment with everything down.
the trick is to figure what will grow back up and what will be
abandoned [if any]

I think my choice would be safe enough by looking in what was in
the top 10 or 30 on coinmarketcap.

I am not going to shill any coins here, just the names that I feel have a great potential for growth in multiple times, you please do your own research and then invest. I am already invested in all these and will HODL for as long as I feel that I have enough profits.

Elixir is highly undervalued right now, this coin can easily be over $10 at the end of the year, i am investing a lot of money in there and hopefully, this will give me a lot of happines at the end of the year, just remember my words guys.

I think 2018 is the end of lending projects, such as BCC, REC, GRX, HXT ... Instead, it is the uprising of projects involving Blockchain technology or ancillary technology. . The market has reached enormous size and needs a new more powerful Blockchain technology.

i think  ETP(metaverse ) will be rise on this year

There are many undervalued altcoin that we can consider for 2018. As a trader I always check coinmarketcap for reference to check the top 100 coins. But apart from top coins I research some bounty coins as well that looks good to me to invest in 2018. In my opinion DeepOnion, Neo, Cardano, Stellar, B2b, Arn and Power Ledger are undervalued coins at the moment I am expecting rise this year.

That coin will have a high value if it continues at the long term trend that it's on.
ADA has a lot of price support.

DeepOnion, SmartMesh, ChainCoin, QSP, Snovio. These coin are undervalued definitely, will boom in 2018!

Cardano, NAV, XRP and KIN are all undervalued with huge potential for this year

Depends of the niche you are looking at, market saturation for such niche and price vs total market cap of a coin. For this matter, I am looking at DeepOnion to be one of the most undervalued coin this year. It's a privacy coin, and if you take a closer look into this niche, DeepOnion is still sitting low compared to other privacy coins which are now seated in the top 20 of coinmarketcap.com. If more people know about this coin, it would surely rise up higher and price would go up even more. It has actually gone up to around 25USD a piece, but considering it's very low circulating supply as of now, it still has a lot of room to grow. The total supply of DeepOnion is also more or less near XMR and DASH's coin supply, and these two coins are all hundreds of dollars up, so do the math and you can see that DeepOnion can pull up to a thousand percent or more increase when it comes to its price.

I would like to understand where this recent idea of subvaluation came from, until I understand the point of view, but it does not mean something affirmative, I believe that in the world of crypto the subvaluation is illusion, currencies are valued or depreciated time at any time, the first 50 coins in the ranking can show this.

Think about the news who goes actually arround. China and Korea want to regulate cryptocurrencies. Many more gouverment will follow. So when the time comes, there will be a huge run to all the anonymous coins like deep onion, XSPEC or Verge. They got totally stealth transaction and nobody can see any transaction or how many coins are in the wallet.

I would say SONM is the most under valued coin at the moment. I can see it will be 10x in the very near future

I think such coins are Ripple, Pulsation, NEO, Bitcoin cash. Unfortunately, so close I'm not familiar with all the coins.

NEO is highly undervalued..I see it 5x-8x in 2018

Based on what?  Neo was trading at $30 like a month ago.

I think INT has quite some potential, it's still not very well known but I can see it being in the top 75-100 soon. HPB is quite undervalued as well

I agree with HPB, I'll add fusion, Fusion will be wanchain killer and they launch the mainnet in Q2/2017
