Given the high tx fees and scalability problem, there are quite few coins that are better but the point is that bitcoin is the main thing. people based these currencies after bitcoin someway or another. So, it has most people in it. So bitcoin should always stay on top and i personally wouldn't leave it Title: Re: What if someone creates a better digital currency? I mostly use other coins that are easier to get in other ways and then exchange them to something like ether, or NEM or idk what ever you wish ;D Why you even need Bitcoin ;D and yes... there are tons of better coins the Bitcoin :D There are 1442 currencies at the moment, and in the early 2017 Bitcoin dominance was almost 60 % in the total market cap of every altcoin but now... only 34.4 % :D In less then a year Bitcoin dominance is down :D Just saying my opinion, I dont like Bitcoin because of the high fees and hard to get. But if you had them from the early 2009 then we speak other language xD If you are new here and want to invest in Bitcoin then don't, buy some other coin or maybe idk you want invest 1 mill or more... xD cheers* just sharing my opinion :D Title: Re: What if someone creates a better digital currency?
