KYC must be declarated at the beginning of the campaign, because the huge part of cryptocommunity uses one of the main feature of crypto - anonymity. By this reason community must know about KYC to keep personality anonimous and stay away from some bounties. If the project does not stipulate all the conditions and making some additions later - so either the marketing is not designed, or the purpose of the project is not quite legal. Therefore, I believe that the announcement of the need to pass the procedure of identification (KYC) prior to the collection of funds in the project is one of the prerequisites.

After all, tokens can then be sold on decentralized exchanges and nobody will track the buyer. It's clear when KYC requires large investors, but I do not think that someone from the bounty hunters receives such big rewards.
