After CMC's decision on excluding Korean markets, & the site being down temporarily the other day, loads of people flocked to Live Coin Watch, stating it's far superior compared to CMC.
They also give the option to toggle Korean markets Off/On, depending on your preference! 8)

now total market cap in coinmarketcap is $449 billion, while total market cap in live coin watch is $446 billion (including korean market). there is a difference of $3 billion from both, maybe something wrong in the live coin watch and I'm still using coinmarketcap.

If there is disparity between the two sites for market watch, despite livecoinwatch adding to korean markets to theirs, which should we then go for. I think we should do proper findings before making such conclusion as to leaving CMC for another preferred site for market watch. As for me, i do not condemn other sites for market watch, but i will still continue to use CMC, having others as side watch.

3 billion if in general marketcap does not mean big impact.
So we can use both site to compare the total of marketcap. As normal i prefer to use coinmarketcap since i can see many other thing and not only the general cap.

Livecoinwatch.com is a good website but I still prefer Coinmarketcap. I don't think other competitors are good enough.
Basically Coinmarketcap has everything I need in one place.

The best alternatives to CoinMarketCap is CoinGenome (https://coingenome.com) LivecoinWatch, and OnchainFX.

LiveCoinWatch has more utility buttons than Coinmarketcap. But LiveCoinWatch has not attracted many people and they need to promote their site more. I think LiveCoinWatch will be the perfect replacement for Coinmarketcap, it's clear and more upgrades. I feel that the future of LiveCoinWatch is very good and soon they want to also beat Coinmarkercap.

For me the best alternative app to ve updated on price is Bituniverse, this app is updated ever seconds most accurate on price in your choseb exchange.

like btc is the top dog so is coinmarketcap  I even have app on my cell phone

That looks exactly like coinmarketcap but with different styling.
Why in the world would we need an exact same service? Pretty bad business idea right there, if you ask me.

I never knew there were so many alternatives to cmc, but sounds to me they still the best for coin info

I prefer to use https://coinmarketcap.com because there his coin is very complete not only that it updates the volume of his coin is also very fast and even can be real time.

There is an good alternative by shapeshift, coincap.io and there are also lots of other alternatives. But I think coinmarketcap is the best one so far and the safest one as well.

That's good service to getting information about alternative coins, it is new alternative website except coinmarketcap.com although it is still new website and still there are no many people who know about it and i still don't  use this service for references to getting the data of alternative coins will be bookmark this website for the future.

CoinMarketCap is the best one. But there is no information for miners

yes I really love coinmarketcap, and livecoinwatch is the best alternative I think, because both websites are very accurate, and very rarely a problem or error

We have got different alternatives such as blockfolio, livecoinwatch and so on. But, I've found coinmarketcap to be the best and CMC is the first place I’ve chosen to know about cryptocurrencies, thus I get hooked on using CMC than anothers.

Some time ago i also started to think , that i need to check coins value at different sites, not only at the coinmarketcap , because it is really bad thing to make moves from one source. I will check all links what left here.

I must confess, no any other platform I can compare with Coinmarketcap yet. Coinmarketcap remain the best site. I can’t say if there would be another tools soon.

I heard that Coinmarketcap manipulates a lot of token data, such as forging a supply of coins to get traders into the trade. this makes sense and of course this is very detrimental.
it's time to find another web that is more trusted.

Coinmarketcap is better than the other sites because every alternative sites also copy the same method little changes only create the other sites so I don't suggest the best alternative but if you really need some new technology you can research your own because lot of sites are updates fastly but peoples are confused in the price variation. So we must follow the one site then only we can identify the right price.

Nope =0 Many others like coinlib have real-time updates, nice charts and additional features. CMC on 5 years birthday just change logo lol, who need service improvements?

Maybe there is a better alternative out there, but I am sticking with the Coinmarketcap as I got used to it and I am not really in need of any additional info, but I found a similar site where you can see the difference in current value and the ATH value of the coin (in %): athcoinindex(.com)

I also stayed on a Coinmarketcap. I've been using this site for a long time and I really like it and I've gotten used to it. It is very informative, has a small number of ads and is easy to use. Sometimes I use other popular sites, but it's rare.

I don't think that anybody needs alternative for CoinMarketCap. Yes it is some problems with reflecting of Korean exchange rates, but for my assets Korean markets is not importnat for example.
