Bounty = you do a task and you (can) get coins/tokens in return.

Bounty campaign = You help to promote the project through social media or using the signature of that project in your profile. Your account is a newbie so its imposible to join signature campaign because the space is limited and no link allowed in signature for newbie, but you can still participate in social bounty campaign such twitter or facebook or even write a article about that project and you get paid by doing that.

Take a look at @Viberate! If you are missing their rewarding system then you are missing so likely called 'free' money.
There is no such thing as free but you can get some good amount of VIB's for 30 minutes of work on social media.
My reward for 2months of work is:
5320 VIB

And VIB price is:
$0,554131 USD (-1.10%)
0.00003901 BTC (-5.81%)
0.00042002 ETH (-2.01%)

If you help market a coin then the ICO is a success then you will get paid for it. Only do the task if you think that the ICO will be successful.

You need to rank up first if you are going to join any bounty programs, signature is better start here and be active for you to get rank fast, basically social media campaigns doesnt require high ranks but for signature you need to be atleast jr.member to get more stakes in campaign.

Bounties or stakes from signature campaigns/social media campaigns are being earned by posting either in this forum or in twitter,fb,telegram or by writing some blogs, also by translating whitepapers into specific languages.

bounty its like you advertise the ico project, like post in blogs, use the code for signature here in forum, sharing social medias and make articles to promote and to attract more investors. but first you need atleast jr. member for the signature campaign to be eligible. you can earn a good profit from campaign if you join a successful project. or they reached a hard cap.

Bounties are like job, you apply to join the campaign and they will give you task. Those task can be promoting their project on social medias like twitter and facebook. You will have 1 week to complete those tasks and you will receive your salary in stakes, the higher the rank, the more stake you will receive.

Bounty = you do a task and you (can) get coins/tokens in return.or it can be said is a mission or task where when you are with the bounty and you have to do things or rules that have been made by bounty voters, and there when you have finished and bounty is finished you will get a reward in the form of tokens etc. what rewards are given by the bounty maker, and there are many criteria where sometimes the bitcointalk rank is very important for this.

Bounty programs are run by crypto teams to promote their project. You can do different tasks (advertise a project using your social media accounts, translate different texts and scripts, or use your BCT account's signature) to promote a project and get paid by tokens in return.

Some recommendations:

- Check what is your best quality. If you have an old FB, Twitter, ... account with lots of followers go for social media bounties. If you have an old high-ranking bitcointalk account do signature. If you know a language other than English well, go for translation, etc, etc...

- Do not be one of the idiots who sell their tokens the moment they arrive! This way you'll earn pennies, and bounties won't be worth your time and energy at the end. Try to hodl your tokens and they'll definitely be a lot more valuable later.

- Do your research and choose worthy projects before participating. Every one of bounties can eat a lot of your time and it will be a shame if it turns out to be a worthless coin and die out...

Bounty is basically earning some coins by marketing them.  Every ICO bounty has their own rules and you have ti follow in order to be eligible. You cam join any bounty you want like twitter, facebook or bitcoin signature campaign. Regarding signature, you must need atleast a junior member account which you will get after 30 activities.

Bounty is like a mean of advertising the ICO on different social medias. You just get different  stakes according to the bounty rules and according to these stakes you can get free coins. These bounties are just to promote their projects.

For now you can't participate in the signature campaigns because you're still a newbie. Some bounty campaigns accept newbies like the ARNA bounty, unfortunately the bounty is over. Don't worry you can still participate in social media campaigns. You need to have a Facebook or Twitter accounts to participate. Always be active in the forum and ranked up.

Even as a newbie you could participate in social network bounties (usually Twitter and Facebook) if you have enough friends and followers. Most of the bounties reward is higher, and it is fair. Or you could try @Viberate post-ICO bounty, where you can get established coin which you don't need to dump straight away after listing. And you get some after 24hrs, so nobody fools you in the end. Or even better, you can promote Viberate at FB @ViberateOFC and Twitter @Viberate_com.

Many newbies are participating, you could use any of reference link, whatever user you want to support:

Go to bounty session of bitcoin talk and ready bounty post, every ICO has different approach how it will give to people free tokens just to advertise their ICO .
Most ICOs is waste of time, because if you take place in a bounty program and the ICO is shit you will probably get shitty tokens.

Check DIWtoken bounty program, this ICO is going to skyrocked and the token of it is going to have really good value.

Most of the time, bounties usually set a limit to do those who are allowed to join, newbies can't join campaigns. Maybe because they want to avoid spam accounts and whatsoever. Bounties have their own projects and objectives, signature campaigns or any other campaigns are used to promote the project. Try to do your own research to learn more about the matter.

Some coins will not have ICO's. The developers will have a large supply of coins that they give out freely to people that perform certain tasks. Like writing an article about the coin, making a video about it, a meme, etc. Bounties are a great way to generate buzz about a coin and reward the person for doing so. DeepOnion is an Altcoin that has bounties.

Go to any bounty company and see what criteria you are eligible for. Choose exactly what you can easily accomplish. Now there are different tasks. And everyone can choose what suits him. After the sale of the tokens, you will have your reward. I met such tasks as - advertise everywhere and shoot a photo or video. Post instagram, use YouTube or join the telegram channel and be active.

Novatoken Bounty is a really well run Bounty.  There's still time to get involved - 10 days left - but it's useful to check out also as a example of a good bounty with good rewards.

Read the Bounty details here:

And check out the website for more details - for example check the roadmap and whitepaper.

https://novablitz.com (https://novablitz.com)

And join in the chat here:

For me it's the Bounty I check all other bounty programs against - not many come close.

Just a word of caution.... I am not sure how successful others have been with different types of bounty.  I am new to using social media (facebook, twitter, reddit) so I don't have enough numbers of followers usually to get or qualify for some of those bounties.
I like to write and I have written about 30 different blog posts.... so far I have received 0 bounty in my ETH wallet for all my efforts.  Writing quality blogs about a new ICO takes on average 5-8 hours, and the bounty offered is usually low.  100 to 500 tokens may sound like a lot in the bounty reward decription but when you realize they are offering the tokens for 1 cent to 5 cents then you are getting usually a very small amount for the effort $5-25.
I will likely switch to twitter (retweets)  it seems people are more successful getting their bounties from facebook and twitter than video and blog posting.    It requires a lot of hustle and you have to read the bounty rules *VERY* carefully to comply with all their rules.

So I guess my advice is to avoid writing  blogs  (from my experience) ICOs don't reward people who read their whitepapers and write articles.  There are many scamming ICOs that never pay bounty after their ICOs end.    Good luck.

Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. I did my first signature campaign for a coin already on an exchange (Intense Coin), so I assume it's easier to be sure the value of your work and it's more probable to be paid. This one is my second, an ICO, so I hope everything will be ok !

Yes, the signature campaigns seem a little more likely to pay the bounty as some are automated with bots that do the checking of the signatures and forum postings automatically.  I have had terrible luck with blog posts, wasted a lot of my time with no bounty for my efforts.   Will try twitter and retweets bounty on my next attempt with an ICO bounty.  Good luck.

Am a newbie here... Does anyone know what and how does bounty works?

If we explain for more specific i think it will take more time.
In small definition, bounty is just promoting the project to be successfull.
How we do it, just go to bounty section, read one of the bounty thread, read any kind of bounty campaign and read the rule. I think you will understand how it work if you read the rule.

In the near future bounty as payment will be more and more popular. And as we can see many projects inducing their ico participants to participate in the promotion and supporting the project. Proof of care will be mandatory for the most  good projects.

Bounty campaign means that you need to do a task for the campaign of a company. You'll advertise their project by putting their signature on every post/activity you do. Some bounty campaigns accepts Newbie rank but mostly they only accept jr. member or higher.

bounty or bounty campaigns are project-specified promotions in a company and we must follow the terms and conditions set by the company

I am surprised the companies stop the bounties so quickly. They could continue bounties with signatures and logos or avatars for facebook, twitter and other social media long after the ICO ends.  It would be a great way to get advertising for their new start ups to have people to continue displaying their logo.   Whatever momentum they gained from the initial bounty likely stops quickly.  Too bad, as it is the bounties that really spread the word about the new start ups.  ( Maybe there are some companies doing this extended bounty already but it seems that once the ICO ends the bounties are stopped).

In general, a bounty thread will have about a few tasks, facebook, twitter, telegram and signature sports and translation.
These are a good way to propaganda ICO project, I join the telegram and signature sports only commonly, signature sports require you to a week to complete a certain task (10-15 posts a week), the telegram just need to remain active until the end of the ICO.

Bounties or stakes from signature campaigns/social media campaigns are being earned by posting either in this forum or in twitter,fb,telegram or by writing some blogs, also by translating whitepapers into specific languages. :) :)

You do something for the project and get paid. In most cases, you just need to advertise them via bitcointalk, facebook, and twitter. Another one is by translating, video creation, blog or article creation and etc...

I think you'd better upgrade your rank first to JR, because many tasks do not accept NB this level. Bounty is also divided into airdrop and signature, airdrop a lot of NB is acceptable, but most of the signature activities require JR.

You help a firm to promote their project and make investors invest on their ico, and if the project end you will get a money from the firm.. as simple as that

Bounty campaign is provided by any new project. To join a bounty campaign, you need to reach few requirements such as your rank at bitcointalk, your follow at facebook or twitter... Then you will perform required tasks to get reward, some include setting your signature to tell other about the project, change your avatar and description, share information about the project to others... These information will be provided by project team when you join.

you join bounty programs, it's up to you which of the campaigns you'll do, from there, you advertise/promote/help to make known the project and that is how you earn.

It is like hunting a job and once you find the project you want to join, you can apply but make it sure you meet the qualifications and standard. The task are more likely promoting there projects by means of sharing in social media and wearing their logo as you profile and many many more.

Bounty is a good way to earn token. All you have to do is to help the companies advertise about their ICO's throughout the period. Another way to earn token is Airdrop. I can say Airdrop is almost a free way to earn token because all you have to do is to follow the instructions.

If you want to participate in a signature campaign then you can work only for one project. You need to make the right choice.

If you participate in the bounty campaign on social networks you can work on several projects at once, but there will be fewer rewards.

Bounty = you do a task and you (can) get coins/tokens in return.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238 -> this is where you should look!
you should also pay attention to the rules on every bounty you follow. you may not be approve/rejected by bounty if you do your work not follow the rules, and you will not get a token at all if you are not be approve/rejected.

In general, the bounty threads have several sections, twitter, facebook, telegram, signature sports and translation.
If your English is very good, then I suggest you take part in the translation thread, because there are few people who are good at translation,So you can get most of the reward.
Most of the time, I only participate in the signature sports, and it will ask you to complete certain tasks (such as 15 high quality posts per week).

A bounty is a program in wich project managers hire you to do specific tasks and pay you in BTC or in the token that they will launch. Each and every bounty program can have it`s own set of rules so it is best to read some bounty announcements and make a general idea about this kind of jobs. Generaly they ask for a specific number of post, some topics in wich you are allowed to post and the duration of the campaign.
It is very important that you dont spam in order to reach the required number of posts because campaign managers will not count them toward reaching youre goal.
