What would be the price of bitcoin in the end of January, Will bitcoin make another record or this would be a small pump???

I am agree with you but Bitcoin will be 50k$ soon now bitcoin stable and altcoin pump.So just wait for 6 month bitcoin play game again and break all record

I am sharing the same sentiments with you. I believe that Bitcoin will reach that level by the end of January 2018. The retracing is over the next move will be up.

Still early to tell dude. Its just above $14K last time I checked coinmarketcap. Looks like just a small pump. However, it could be another consolidation leading up to another bull run. Let's see how it goes if it crosses $15K in the next few days, I think we are in for another rally, however, if it continues to move around the $13K-$14K then this looks like a small pump. Investors just constantly moving their funds around from bitcoin to altcoin ecosystem.


LOL. Let's just be realistic here. I say let's target $20K. This has been a big barrier to break, if we ever surpass it up to the end of the month, then it will open up a lot of possibilities in the future.

I am hoping that it will increase up to 30000$ at the end of January. I have invested in Bitcoin and I am waiting for its increase. Looking at the situation, i am convince that the price will go higher after this month.

Well I personally don't think bitcoin deserves to/should go above 20000$ before the fees have been fixed. The fees are really messing it all up and keeping new people away from bitcoin.

I certainly think like you, these overpaid things have been something unwanted by everyone. The biggest damage to this situation is seen by the small amount of traders. Yes, but i do not think that it will reach more than twenty thousand dollars before the end of the month, that is a huge amount of money. And today, we were expecting the bonuses from walls street, and still, nothing happened yet.

So i do not know, but for me, it is not going to reach that price in less than 15 days from now.

I think that the bitcoin price will drop to 8000 dollars but after they fix lightening network and the fees drop the price will explode. I think this will happen in the first quarter of 2018. maybe we see 50.000 usd I think its possible but 20.000 for sure again :)

For the end of January 2018, it's unlikely that bitcoin will reach $ 20k, most likely bitcoin will only get to the price of $ 15k,  I say so, because for now 'bitcoin' is undergoing some major problems, including : high transaction fee, and the closing effect of 'Bithum and CoinOne' exchanges in South Korea, and this is unlikely to be resolved quickly.

Bitcoin's price is starting to rise a little bit. But i dont think it will hit $20,000 by the end of January because its still below $14,000 now. It may reach that 20k but maybe on the mid of the year. I think it will reach inbetween $14k-$15k by the end of january. Who knows? Price is very unpredictable.

Unless there's a massive dip in the altcoin market that makes it so that the money can flow back to Bitcoin, or perhaps some kind of "big" news that can shake up the btc market, I don't think we're going to reach 20k. Also, I don't think such a drastic increase in just 2 weeks would be a 'healthy increase' in the btc price.
I believe further consolidation below $20k would be the best scenario in order to go above 20k. In my opinion, we're going to be around the 16k-18k range by the end of january.
Abd I think we could see 20k or above in mid-february.

Yes I agree with you it is very unpredictable nobody can answer this but if you look on coinmarketcap the most of the money is in the alt coins now and when people want take their profits and change it into fiat a lot of the people do this through bitcoin and then the price will also skyrocked I think. or tell me if im wrong.

It's more a wishful thinking on my side. I find the recovery actually quite slow. It went below $14,000 and it's taking a long time for it to even go back to $16,000 which is where it was before it suddenly hiked to $20,000. I really have no idea what it would take to hit that mark again. News have been slow lately, save for that scare about South Korea.

Came on mate, if you are desperated as that, then i suggest you to drink some pills before you get a panic attack if the price goes down as more as you expected.

Judging by what's going on right now I think the altcoins are gonna lose some ground and it will make room for Bitcoin to gain a little more value for the weeks to come.

Yes time will tell us. Last year was very strong for bitcoin (and also for ethereum and many many cryptocurrencies) and I think that the hype will continue this year and for the same reason the price for bitcoin will moon. A lot of people talk about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin those who are interested and see the potential in blockchain will invest and first they will buy bitcoin. January is still unclear but my personal prediction end of the year is 50.000 Usd +/- 10.000

Even it is a small pumped it will sure be pumped as believers and other investors as well let us say about 16,000 to 20,000 USD is the price of bitcoin by the end January 2018. This would actually be a great news for all of us and help the influential investors be more attracted on investing in bitcoin.

No I don't think so , mazimum it will get 17k and then it will get back , main reason futures that are balancing the price.

I dont know exactly where bicoin will go, short or long term for this time.

There is so many speculations about the price , value and future of bitcoin. Many have agrees and many are not, they say it will drop to $10000 or even lower but i can't see coming.Some crypto experts predicted it to be at $60000 this year yet ita too early to believe on that. I guess it would reach $20000 again or even farther , who knows.

That little things will surely matter in the future, bitcoin quiet ups and downs in the past days until now but I still know it is just a preparation for a brighter future for us along with the altcoins. Bitcoin will continue to move to matter what because this defines the future of our currency and many people will continue to adopt this kind of technology, be more patient.

Thats a wonderful prediction but how about alts.  Will altcoins go up along with Bitcoins? Looks like bitcoin is approaching a bullish position.

I refuse to make any prediction on bitcoin price now, because nobody knows exactly where the price is head in to.
If we might be luck, the price of bitcoin may pump to $20,000 at the end of January this year, but we can't be sure.
Or the price might even go lower than expected. We still never can tell.
Before we believed that the low price might be as a result of issues in the capmarket, but the issue have been resolve still no changes.

Not just new people but current holders who do not like what we are seeing regarding fees and
with fees being as high as they like then the danger is not so much a pump and dump but more
of a mafia lock-in

When you workout it's sinking and want out then how is that going to work with the miners charging

Bitcoin is on the move again as per experts prediction that the price market value would grow further as this has appreciated for more than 20 times over the past year, the simultaneous amount of deals had increased for almost 200 times thus there is is plenty of room for growth.

Alts will moon and bitcoin will stay!

This is kind of hard to predict,  i seen the price pump as was mentioned but it was just a small pump. When i checked it i did not notice a move of over $1k. Now maybe $20k might be doable by years end but in either case i am happy. Now if they would fix the transaction fee and speed of confirmation would be great.

I always believe in Bitcoin. Predictions about 30000USD in 2018 is not just a funny thing. I think that maybe we will not see such price but it will grow inevitably, I am sure. Bitcoin is still strong enough.

It is too hard to tell but as a speculation I think it could possibly hit back into like in $14k-$18k by end of January. Depending on the flow in the market and of course investors too. I am also hoping for a bounce back of $20k or above. What is interesting about Bitcoin is that it can easily go up in anytime unlike some Altcoin that takes longer time to recover from sudden downfall. As a hodler I know that it can make another all time high when it starts to skyrocket again.

I agree with you that Bitcoin rising to 20K  at the end of january may not be possible,  but to say about  15k, that It can likely rise to. It is expected to rise after  the price  drop, these   usually happens  at the end of every   year. All holders of Bitcoin who have invested for long  term , will attest to this fact that bitcoin drop in price and also rise in price. The exponential rise of bitcoin will be experienced at the end of January.

We can not guarantee how much will it cost at the end of the first month of 2018. If it does not increase? it will stay, At 500k. Just wait for what will happen in the next few days or weeks. I think this is a big climb to the moon again, I could clearly guess the $20k mark just like what you are predicting. Based from the trading website bitcoin graph and charts, traders have been tested to the lowest price of bitcoin, and nothing go below 9k, this trigger the mark that buyers are starting to buy and seller want to sell at high price. Whatever, the price will be, it is definitely going upwards and never going back again way below.

Bitcoin goes up and down. Now the prices of almost all cryptocurrencies is decreasing significantly again. It seems that the South Korea wants to ban the exchange markets anyway.

Looking at the charts it's clearly visible that the bottom was reached and we bounced back to confirm a bullish breakout at 12500 USD. If we go down now it will end above the previous bottom or right above it and confirm it again so there's no need to worry we're going back to prices above 15000 this year. Where will we end up is hard to say.

Bitcoin is on the move again. Just like it was predicted that it will hit $17,000 last year, it will soar high this year too. The same person who predicted it will hit $17,000 last year has again predicted it will hit $100,000 by December 2018. Bitcoin will continue to move upwards again even though there might be some setback.

Bitcoin is fast moving down $ 1000 a day as it used to be. It's a bit stressful to keep seeing the price every minute. but the thing I believe the $15k achievement yesterday has been the best in 2017 2018.
according to my personal advice price will not rise too early again . otherwise it would be opposite.
I prefer setting up USD to determine the time to buy.

I don't think it's feasible for bitcoin to reach 20k USD again by the end of this month. Selling pressure that's started right after the peak didn't allow the market to reach such prices even while the market was at a remarkably positive market sentiment, why would it now? I think that we'd be optimistic when saying that prices would loom 15k USD again. For now we seem to be heading much lower though.

I think that hardly by the end of January, the bitcoin price will almost double, it seems to me that the price will be about 15,000. Of course, I would very much like the cost of bitcoin and all the crypto currency just growing, but let's look at things realistically, it will not happen.

For every a sudden pump there is a alwaya hard pump as observed from the past forks and threatening news. Possibly trice might double, and I see that really coming. The news is already done, anfmd the situation have been normalize. Basically, people are now going back to bitcoin and demand and once againg increasing. We could see it continuously going and growing.

Fortunately, I bought good amount of coins during drop time. I feel like I'll be gaining good amount this time around. Im not sure if it will hit 20,000$ mark before january ends, but one thingbis for sure it will be easily reach befire the mid year.

I seem to agree with you, to reach that big number looking at some of today's developments from Botcoin, so to achieve and let alone exceed that number will be difficult.
I see the current figure is a stable number for bitcoin.

Based on previous year I think it is not yet rising as what it have last time since the boom of the value of bitcoin happened during the later part of the year and for now I think it will just fluctuate over time.

Last year this month we were in a similar situation. It's actually been like that for 3 years straight with huge Winter selloffs followed by Spring and Autumn pumps.
We will have to go back to testing the support at 20k eventually. If it doesn't get broken there will be another huge dump and if it does we'll go much higher. Maybe to $25 :)


Not really... If you look at the chart it seems that we've reached a short term bottom and then went back to retest the highs which failed to break 13200 at bitfinex and went back down to retest the lows just to fail to break below 9900k
So as you can see the range is tightening and there will have to be a breakout in one direction and that's what traders will be looking for. If it goes down below 9000 USD it's going to start an avalanche, if it breaks above 13,5k it will start a pump, possibly back to 15k.

my guess for what it's worth, is that this just a blip and further falls will be probable-mainly due to hostility to all crypto's by governments and institutions. I see it dropping to around $5k before a rally back to $10k

I saw threads in the Prediction section saying that bitcoin could drop around $5K as well. But I have to agree that the sudden downward trend is due to governments around the world clamping on cryptos. But I can't see it going deep as $5K.

Yes, good to see bitcoin moving on a positive direction today. I hope that it can break $12K, looks like there are strong resistance as we can keep fluctuating $11,00-$11,300.

Its still January though, based on previous record, this month seems to be bearish for the last 3 years and it looks like the trend will continue for this year.

After all speculations, all of here are getting scared and mad about bitcoins. They are all saying that bitcoin will be vanished! At some point they are correct but now, as bitcoin moves up, they are replying with this thread or making a new thread for appreciation in bitcoin.
Anyways, I am hoping too, that bitcoin will move up in the end of January but I am sure that it will fall again.

I think bitcoin prices will soar in the middle of the year, but at the beginning of the year bitcoin has decreased over the last 3 years. but my prediction is the same as your bitcoin price will go up as the bitcoin develops already known to the world. even in my country Indonesia bitcoin can not be traded but they only invest or can be called investment, unlike the case with russia that legalize payment / trade with bitcoin.

My prediction is it will have another dip towards 7-9k by the end of january, before it rises to 13-16k during february-march, and hits a new ATH 2.quarter...

Bitcoin is very difficult to guess! he is not permanent, can go down, then sharply up! it is very good that he will always go up all his life! correction that is now happening is a normal phenomenon!
