Title: Interest Check - Anyone paying over 1.3 for a 2013 Brass Casascius
Post by: zac2013 on January 15, 2018, 09:33:23 PM
Hi folks, a friend of mine has a 2013 brass cas coin that is in a sealed condition, but not graded.

Is anyone paying over the combined face value for these undesirables?

1.0 + 0.18 B Trash + other fork values?

I noticed someone is trying to get 2.2 on ebay.........

I'm looking for 1.3+?

Message me if slightly interested & i will take some pics. (Of the coin)

Thanks loads  8)

First,  high quality photos are not really an option, but a necessity if your friend wants an accurate assessment of the coins value.

An auction is the best way to discover market price.  If the coin is truly in mint condition you could expect close to 1.3, maybe a bit lower, maybe a touch higher, but I would think close.  If the coin has been handled or improperly stored your friend is probably better peeling and redeeming.
