Why it will hold - just greedy people need to lose all on alts. I was telling CRYPTO CAN"T LIVE WITHOUT BITCOIN. IT IS IMPOSSIBLE AT THIS STAGE. UNTIL PEOPLE WON"T SELL ALL ALTS - EVERYTHING WILL BE GOING DOWN.

IT IS SO SIMPLE - you got to much alts, btc dom went so low that you couldn't buy more alts with it - there was none of it on the market.

2. Bigger crash = investors will run away = end of bitcoin
3. Whales didn't sell !!! - and they know 10 times more than us


I paniced few times - but now it is just simple

To be sure I predict HUGE BUY WALLS on 11800 - just look for them.

Psy support at 13k broken within an hour and now next support level is at 11k. In addition, all support levels for other coins such as BCH, ETH, most alt coins followed suit.

I think crypto currencies are facing a bigger crisis than we know.

Already sold all my crypto holdings and holding fiat currencies.

Heh its good sometimes not to be greedy - I knew I could day trade with tether and make money - I actually lost 0.11btc to be sure it is falling and to go to fiat.

Now there is a real problem - there is no real mathematical barrier - it can go to 10k, 8k, 5k , 3k


10k - psychological barrier

8.5-8k - strong last support

5k/3k - this is when all the banks stops accepting btc


Thats a real gamble now - hopefully someone will put 5000btc+ buy wall or just buys at once - that will be proof for end of crash

Math did not predict the rise of BTC price at 1000% since last year.

Doesn't mean it will support/hold for long. Once those buy orders have been eaten up, sell orders will once again commence. Honestly, I can't think of any incentive for the price to go down so much, but all I can think of is that there are several holidays in line from our Asian brothers. It could be that or it could be that some traders are still cashing out for something but up to now, the reason for the steep downtrend is quite cryptic. Oh well, we'll see what would happen in the next coming days. $13k barrier has been eaten up by sell orders, so this might be bad, or this could be good.

How is he wrong???? it is holding 11500-12000 range.  Or did you expect  him to guess it exactly on the cent?

There you go, the price of bitcoin is below $11,800 right now. To be honest i'm afraid right now, because i'm holding 0.15 btc right now and I lose like 25% of my balance right now (by the price). Almost all altcoins are in red right now. I hope the price of bitcoin will start go up again soon.

Its a fake wall and I think the price of cryptocurrency right now is really at the correction. Hold, don’t sell on panic bitcoin can bounce back and go even higher but of course it takes time. A perfect time to buy more coin now because the possibility that cryptocurrency pump again are very high.

At the moment the correction is taking place that lets small holders have panicked and some sell their treasures which seems indeed a fear,some have been selling big on this day I'm afraid it will happen again but there are already lots of fences in each value.

HODL is the name of this coin. It's now going up @ $12.2k hoping that this will be the starting point to pump up little by little.

There is also the possibility this is the back end of Futures trading of Bitcoin.   Often people will dump the underlying asset in order to bring a certain price into range and so make a profit on their Futures bet.

People in crypto are not used to this but its normal for gold, silver and oil markets and just about any commodity sees this kind of contract variation to the price happen just as settlement day approaches

I'm amazed with your Mathematical equation and solution showed for the sake of every holders and traders with bitcoin. But we got bad news tonight, the price went down at $10,480 and there are few people that are saying that $8,000 is going to be the new support of bitcoin. But well I'm with "normal" correction and I've seen this before so even it's quite painful I'll take all the pains that the market is giving us today.

Now is the time to buy, many people were waiting for this moment since December last year. So hurry up and buy the whole lot, everyone will and the price will rise. Soon there will be another math, 30K in March.

WHOOPS bitcoin now trading $9950 ...

That's pretty much an interesting development, especially now GDAX has also gone below the $10,000 level. I personally didn't expect it to happen, but just like the increase to $20,000 last year, things happen when people don't expect it. I must however say that I can't complain about these lower levels. I took profits at the right moments, and that's paying off right now. Bitstamp as conservative as it has always been, has thus far still managed to keep hovering just over $10,000, but for how long, that's the question. I probably have to set some well placed buy orders before sleeping, and all below $10,000 just in case it sinks down that far.

Yes it went down under $10k on several serious exchanges but a reaction came up by making the price above $11k easily. We're checking if it will continue like this. This can be a good buy opportunity for us.

Well 11800 was broken but it does seem like there's a lot of support in the 11k region, expecting to see the price settle around 12-13k in the next day or two before making a slow climb back up. Let's remember that after the last major crash bitcoin recovered in only a matter of days once things settled down.

I'm afraid we can see bitcoin under 10K in next 24 hours and this could drag out a total panic on the markets. I hope I'm wring this time...
