Guys, what happened of the market today? it passes from 600B to 471B of capital market!

Something weird is happening around crypto currency market,every coins is falling and bitcoin price reached below $12K,it is likely to be happened but is happening in overnight so many investors are in panic situation.I don't think this is just happening due to South Korea ban,maybe many countries are trying to regulate crypto currencies in their country.

Or this maybe a another trap from the big whales to make money so it is better to hold all our coins it may bump back soon(Hopefully).

Well if bitcoin was a bubble... it is exploding now...!!   just couple of months back it was hitting $20k mark. In start when it was going down every body was saying its going doing because of Christmas people are pulling out money for shopping but i guess they should have returned back... but they did not :D

Not only the bitcoin is falling each and every crypto is falling so it is not about the bubble.This is happening due to the countries banning bitcoins and crypto currencies.So it is better to stop spreading rumors around the people which make the condition more worse.
I think this is an golden opportunity to invest on crypto currencies so everyone pick their coins and buy as soon as possible because the price may bump at any time.Cyrpto market is highly unpredicatble.

Look at the previous price drops. They have been much much bigger than this. I think this can be because of Chinese crackdown on bitcoin.

A single price drop does not mean that Bitcoin is a bubble. The drop in market cap is troubling though. And the fact that this drop has affected all cryptos not just Bitcoin.

Let's wait and see though. I think this Chinese crackdown is definitely bad news but Bitcoin can recover though.

I don't think their is to much to stress about. The cryptocurrency market does this. The ride up has been crazy the last few months and it was always over extended. In saying that it will start bouncing back up again soon. Just keep your eyes peeled and look for some good buy points.

There is a normal correction of the market after growth. This is the standard situation in the crypto-currency market. Constant growth does not happen. Therefore, now the market will be adjusted (prices will decrease), and then the market will again grow. Do not worry.

Well I hope so, if its only about China then definitely it will recover soon. Crypto market can survive without Chinese investments.

I think they just make everyone panic about the market price decline, hopefully here you do not really think of falling market prices and not too panicked by looking at current market prices, so do your best for the future.

This market is very fragile it doesn't take much to go up or go down. Market cap is irrelevant.

Big players are driving a wave of negative news about the crypto-currency market. I think they want to buy bitcoin at a cheap price, and then there will be a sharp rise in the price of bitcoin. So the market will be red for some time!

It is raining cats and dogs. That is what happens right now.

I simply think that whales are manipulating the market just to put in panic little investors so the can buy at a lower price.
Of course it's just an hypothesis, but...very probable.

It appears that China intends to further regulate the cryptocurrency market and then lead to a decline in the overall market.

I remember when the same thing happen , from 100 to 60, then from 60 to 800 ...

Today is probably one of those days when the mood of all bitcoin holders is simply terrible. Because the situation with crypto-currencies is very distressing to people, I think all this is connected with the prohibitions of crypto-currency in Asia

Yes! I also heard a news about the crypto currency market that it decreased. I just saw it online that even China got banned in terms of bitcoin forums.

It's just a correction. Personally, I waited for a long time it was supposed to happen. I think you just need to wait it out.

At least these kind of crashes make people aware of loss. There won't be always gain  ;)

The price of bitcoin has fallen so fast today that I haven't had time to sell my bitcoins. I'm losing a lot of money now. I think someone is betting against bitcoin.

This price reduction is not just happening to bitcoin, but on other coins too, this may be due to the ban from many countries and make the crypto currency market to be strange. Do not panic and Better hold all the coins until the price rises, hopefully will rise in time close.

I think that all all crytocurrencies are affected by the issue on China banning the mining of bitcoins.So all prices are all going down right now.

I suggest you hodl your bitcoins and dont sell at a salvage value. Bitcoin and altcoins are currently at trials due to present issues in countries like South Korea. Dont worry, it will pump back again just be patient and don't panic.

This is normal and its up to you if you will stop it or not. The market i just shaking the weak hands to fall.

I think it's a effect of south Korea negetive news.South Korea, one of the largest crypto markets, could ban cryptocurrency trading.due to this news the bitcoin dump down and all the market can bleeding. i hope it will be recover soon.

Maybe it's because South Korea ban,and I also here  many countries are trying to regulate crypto currencies in their country.Also a message from China said the government wants to ban the OTC trade in China.

If you've been long enough at least you'd know how to react - hold. We've had this a lot more times already in the past.

Somebody may be trying to manipulate the market so that prices will go down and that they could purchase coins/tokens at a low price. A strategy by big players giving them huge profit!

It's bloody as in the Battle of Waterloo. It's just normal, IMO, as every crypto has it's own story of suffering from RED days. It might be they underwent correction or it's because of whales who are selling their holdings.
Let's just hope that everything will be fine and that GREEN days is here to come very soon.

it is not a new thing for this type of market and one news can change the mood of market in one way or other. today's news of south korea ban make huge negative impact on this market.

I think this is just correction, and at the moment this is perfect time to buy some altcoin before the price bounce

I think this is  consequence South Korea ban cryptocurrency trading and China plans to ban domestic users from accessing electronic apps that allow exchange them.

In the past few hours, all the COINS fell a lot, because there was a message from the Chinese government will ban the currency trading, it is a very bad news for the currency, because of China's currency trading volume is very large

First things first, I am a long and true believer of crypto and i believe it will continue to rise over the years. but sometimes you need to take a step back to reality and try not to get caught up in the moment. Just HODL, friends.

I just checked my folio today and all of them turns red. I'm not surprise for what is happening in crypto world. Because this is just temporary. For the last two years it has been not good for cryptocurrencies every January. It will again moon in late February to March. Just hold our coins and be patient.

Have China / other countries affected crypto in a similar way in the past? Obviously the answer is to hold but I'm just wondering just how often this has happened before.

It's truly is scary when alt token is going down, but I hope this is just a tactic of some people who wanted to buy from the deep then suddenly boom.
As of the moment, I'm still holding on to my token even though I already lost half of my capital because of this deep, I sure hope because of this deep, a big boom will come up.

Bitcoin went down altcoins followed.
Nothing unusual to see at all, sometimes market goes up and sometimes up.
It already exploded. You know, it was $20K and now it is $12K. All i've been hearing in past weeks is - it's correction, it's correction, it's correction but the truth is that bitcoin went down almost by half. What bloody correction lol!

And the truth is that something incomprehensible comes through. But I see such a picture not for the first time and I know that there is no reason for panic, and if you were not able to transfer into fiat at the  beginning, then you just have to wait and everything will return to its previous places

Maybe because of the low numbers of interested investors that leads to that huge change of decreasing numbers in market place. And itwill come back again to the pick.

But I see many people invested on bitcoin still using this dump in the market. Newbie investors will not know the potential of the bitcoin's growth in the market future. Some of the countries banned the bitcoin and all the crypto currencies from using it so all centralized trading sites will shows as dead in the concern country it has been banned. So ignore still and buy the bitcoin and alts. You can buy exchange it is different countries like Japan and elsewhere can use it.

Guys dont panic, it happens every new year, in january to be more accurate there is a dip going on and by the end of the month, it bounces back. Imagine what would be the price of altcoins with great potential that are now in dip. As for me, im trying to invest before it stabilizes.

Market will bounce back soon because of ban of crypto in single territory will not have any affect in future just like china banning bitcoin has zero effect on crypto price right now.

I think that the falling market is the result of well-planned actions of whales and Chinese government. This happened several times and we should already get used to this. Do not panic. Just buy more.

It's easy to blame it on the whales but at least with the news about China banning cryptos, there were some signs.

It's quite alarming seeing how bitcoin value drops so bad these days although I know for a fact that it is very volatile and fluctuations are just a normal activity but I didn't expect that the value can dump this low and I am afraid that if this will continue the market might crash and the demand in bitcoin will be lessen which I don't think is not a good thing for stability of crypto currencies. I hope the value will recover very soon.

I'm sure that it's just another manipulation. East countries + EU region made some bad news which are not even official statements. But the aim is achieved - the panic has been spread))

Most likely, the version of the trap. Whales can be manipulated for a long time, and rumors are only good for them. The most important thing

It seems we will see falling till around 8k usd for bitcoin. Every experienced trader have been warning about the risk of cryptocurrency investments. Now everybody realized what the risk is  :) they will recover inn a few weeks ;)
