Good to know that your cousin is interested by investing in altcoins. I think this is the best time to invest in the ICO like FuzeX, the project is very interesting. Try to read more information on their website. Thank you

This is the right time to invest in Bitcoin and altcoin. In current market is down so you invest as soon as possible. Because it will be raise in soon. You should check past and present status of the altcoin and you should estimate the amount in single investment or more.  But don't invest in tokens. Because it is hard to predict the future profit. So you should invest in coin is the best option.

First of all before even thinking of investing you should know your budget and how much money you are willing to loose. Let's face it not all investments turns out good so it is always better to invest the money you are willing to loose. Second is to do your research on the potential altcoins you want to invest in, check on historical trends and other factors affecting the rise and fall of prices, next is plan when to invest. After doing all your research you should have a better understanding and information on when the price drop, what is the lowest drop and highest amount the coin has ever reach so you have atleast the idea when to invest. Always buy low and sell high to get profits out of your coins, consider as well the transaction fees when computing for potential income. Never sell a coin when the price is lower than what you bought it for instead just hold on to those coins and sell in a later time when their prices pumps.

my advice for your cousin would be start using google, and do not invest in any crypto for a month. After a month of reading and studying about how cryptomarket works start with small amounts in top tier alts. After a couple of months you are ready for "gem" searching and more risky trades. Always #DYOR

Study and Research that is a good advise for your cousin. There are lots of coins in the market. Each of them has a different characteristics and movement of price. So better to study first the coins.

Best tip before investing is to invest that amount of the money which are you willing to lose. Altcoin market is very risky and every coin can drop in the price very fast during the correction phases. When the coin you have invested in starts to drastically fall down there is no need for the panic in the given moment of the drop downs.

Patience is the key to the successful trading profit gain.

Give it a good research and also you will be the one who to decide it's a worth it investment or not. The first of course if it's legit or not. Once you know it's legit then you can move to finding out on your own if it can be successful or not.

Do your research and start with small amounts to build your way up and never go all in not matter how sure you are of it.

If he is generally new, then let him study and build his cryptolectual foundation. If you have few money for investment, you may start investing cheap altcoins listed in coinmarketcap. I prefer invest those listed at the top. The cheaper the coin for now, the more profit you will get in a long run.

For invest, I only suggest with bitcoin and second coin ( eth, ltc, xmr, etc ) not with new coin from ICO. I believe invest with bitcoin and second coin is more safe and still profitable. Create income from crypto market is not easy but you should keep try until have enough experience to start your plan self. Remember to always use long time period ( day - week - month ) and wise management ( not martiangle ). Keep safe and have a nice day.

If you want to choose an altcoin, you should visit their website and see their development for the future,if you think it's good, start investing in that. You must have patience in cryptobusiness, don't let your emotion affect your judgement. There's many cases where a coin start crashing in price and you start panicking then cutloss your investment,it's not good,if you see some hope for development, just hold and wait for the price to go up again. For starter, you should choose some coin with big marketcap.

Take a close look at the projects of the individual altcoins. Then I would invest. Do not just invest blindly somewhere. Also, you must remember that you should think best long term. But if you ask for an exact altcoin, then I would buy ripple, tron, eos or stellar. Look at what percentage of the mentioned altcoins have risen.

Just have a look here:

I think for beginners it's hard to choose a good altcoin to invest long-term or short. but maybe eth is more suitable to be invested for beginners, because eth function can be used to buy other altcoin. besides it can be kept in the long term.

really, invest in bitcoin.
yesterday bitcoin hit its lowest price this month and today it's starting to rise, so I guess you can tell your cousin that he has not missed the train yet.

First of all, you need to study the background so that you know what you are doing for. You may research on internet or ask from you relatives or friends that knows more about coins. Then study the market trend so that it will help you to make good strategy.

You said that you gave him some tips but did not mention what you told him. The most important thing is not to put in more money into crypto than you can afford to loose.
