So I hold a lot of bitcoin since I took some of my huge verge, linda, tron gains into bitcoin.

I noticed right now out of the top100 coinmarketcap only NEO and japanese MonaCoin are gaining against Bitcoin. They are probably very, very good choices to buy for the future. I like especially MonaCoin since its japanese and they legalized and even support Crypto in japan. So lots of capital will move to japanese coins if there is ever a real ban in china or US some day.

However. Since Bitcoin is only down by 12% today, yet other coins are down 30%, 40% today. It means you can buy them very cheap right now.

Any suggestions on some coins today to buy cheap?

Or is it a bad idea because tho who fall the most today, have low trust by the market and probably are not good investments for the future?

If you have a lot of capital then I suggest go for bitcoin since its considered as the most volatile currency. It will surely be up again back to 16-17K. But if your low on budget then go for ADA,ETH,XRP.

What I would do: go to https://www.worldcoinindex.com/, show the prices compared to Bitcoin, not USD, sort by the percentage and from there pick some of the coins I trust/I know they worth investing and they're well red.

It can be wise to think about putting some money in an ICO such as Arcblock right now.. think of it as planting a seed right before the upcoming rainy season.

Why not just Eth or Btc ? Safe values.

Sure these will do excellent in the coming months, can't imagine them not beating btc or eth big time in the near future.

Anything you buy in fiat right now will bounce back, if I were you I would go on Coinmarketcap, see what has lost the most and decide what you think has the best chance of a sharp return, spread your investment out and watch the money roll in, once any of your investments go 2x you can sell them off and reinvest into BTC or something a bit safer. Coins/tokens for free essentially.

That said, ADA looks good, PRL is a wicked project and dropped massively and Lisk LSK are rebranding at the start of Feb, you will make good money on those investments for sure, and some.

Perhaps now is a great time to buy crypto currency.
Some of the money can use to buy tokens on ICO.

Almost all cryptocurrencies are now down. It also means that this is the best time to invest and buy any coin that we think is potent to increase eventually. I am not buying with FIAT. I have BTC. But many altcoins are down much more than bitcoin, so you basically save 20%.

Some good tips. Oyster isnt down compared to BTC. Its actually up. Could still be a good purchase now, I really like the team and they are one of the few teams IMO who could really build something sustainable, something great that a lot of people are going to use. Unlike so many other projects. I do hold a good amount already. I dont like the new website tho. Like just the top of it, it looks so boring. Also they should rather focus less on advertising but on the idea/concept itself.

Their product can be so much more than just that. And thats what people want to invest in. In a vision, a dream.

XEM is -20% today. Bitcoin is only -13% so xem lost more. It might not mean that much and others are down 30%... But yeah. As for value, there isnt many coins today that gained towards bitcoin.

Depends on your budget. If you have so much go for btc of course. Low budget go for eth, xrp, iota, waves and try ins.

Well for me, I would suggest Bitcoin and Etherium as good investments now that their market value are falling and both of these cryptos' market value are potent to be more expensive in the future..Investing nw will be an advantage to earn huge profit once both of these coins' market price continuously increase.

Probably, This is the best opportunity for those who need to buy a quantity of different currencies because all are in total fall. In addition to that, that crisis may be temporary.

Otherwise, I guess that there are 4 currencies you should buy from them, like : Bitcoin  because their price has become 11K and it will certainly return to evolution and become 25K  in the near future and the same for Etheruem which is down by 15% and it is expected that their value will progress soon . The top high ten coins with high market capitalizions are good for your investments this year and now provide the best opportunities for one to buy cheap and really make good profit. Most of the kwon popular coins have getting a serious dump of over 30% loss today and we may still experience further dump tomorrow but we should see this as a blessing in disguise because we may not see price as low as were we are today.

I just bought Metaverse which is only at $100m market cap. Verge is (was) at 2 billion. Metaverse can be 20x bigger than Verge but it costs x20 less. Thats a good deal. Buying verge NOW or tron NOW is insane because they just rose by x30 (i profited a lot and sold at peak).

Crash is continuing right now. So it's a good thing to be cautious. But all altcoins can be invested when the rise starts. It all starts to rise again. Particularly in the top 10.

You can choice in two different terms. If you want to buy for long term you can select xrp, ada, eth, xem, lend. These kind of coin are more potential in this time. Price is negotiable now. You can choice bitcoin, ethereum and litecoin for short term.

Ada is a good investment And the price will go up when they release the atm. Wanchain is ons of the best options in my opinion.

Buying btc isn't recommended not because it won't rise but because of profitability difference. I would suggest go with nem it had a price of $1.8 and currently it is around $0.8 i would suggest alteast invest half of your investment available.

Second as many said go with ada it is at a really low price you can hold for a few months and easily get more than $1.

Lastly is the most riskiest one trx many don't really trust it but most likely i will get pumped again.

I think the altcoin that you mention like Neo and Monacoin are very good choices. In this situation, most of altcoin is correction and Neo and Monacoin gain more value so those will be good choice.

Waves is still on its bottom. There was no spike already in the current altcoin spikings of the last weeks.
I bought some WAVES today. Will buy more if it will crash down more and more.

Modum is one of the coins that I kicked while the spike top 90k sat. I rebought it yesterday at 50k sat, because it is still a project with a lot of potential, a working product and team behind it. This coins will grow to the top 50-100 in 2018!

When coins start to fall to buy them is not a good idea. After all, we can buy a coin today, which tomorrow will be cheaper by 40%. Therefore, we must buy coins at a time when the market is stabilizing and growth begins. I think that at this time you need to buy coins, which you constantly trade. My picks are QSP, XEM, ETH.

I would wait and watch as this doesnt look like a 2 day sale, but could be a month long sale in which case its better to wait for a better price.

i would suggest to wait, if you cashed in BTC set stop loss in Tether in case of a 8k drop.

i can choose neo as my second choice, and eth is my best choice, but not Monacoin the reason is if it is legalise then it is a centralised altcoin which is controlled by the government that I hate most. What is always best crypto is when it gets popularity. from being independent and not because of the shadow of the government.

I think you need to look at the last few months value.

coins that were 0.10 in Dec, jumped to $1 / $2 they are now dropping back  down  *towards*to  mid December  levels.  I would take this as a bottom  value. Any coins that have got close to that +% are probably worth investing in. Those that are still way above Decemeber I think still have some way to fall.

Late December / early Jan was a crazy period and many people got carried away (raises hand lol) thinking those gains were permanently when history would have showed they weren't.

But the ride isn't over yet, still good profits to come in 2018

Bitcoin , I think is the best coin to buy for now. Because it experiencing a hard fall for now and everyone are looking for it to recover. if you mean altcoin already launched, I think spectre.ai is one of the coins that have good potential. while the coin is in the ICO stage, I think paypro has good potential.

I guess it depends what you want. Either you want "low" risk then choose from the top 100. The prices are good. If you want more high reward what about: INT, BBT, HPB or MAN Token ( only on etherdelta and IDEX). They have the possibility to boom.

I have in my list Eth, Can, Prl, appc coins, the best crypto to invest with. Canyacoin is the best project and if you notice it had a successful Ico and they aim to develop their project. Prl and appc are also good for long term investment.

I'm buying flixx, elixir and monetha. They dropped very much so I hope they will rise to old prices. I'm holding them long term already, so I suggest to research about them.

It has got to be Hempcoin. I really wanted to buy it but it was already soaring in the first week of January and now it has gone down a bit and they have a lot of events this coming February.

On crash and dips, I would always prefer to buy the solid and firm currencies. Besides Bitcoins, I have so much enthusiasm
for Ethereum, Monero and Litecoin. Neo is also something that has caught my eye for some time, l'll definitely invest
on that as well. WRC seems nice I invested on them last year, Worldcore was quite very lucrative during BTC's climb
to $20k last year. There seems to be plenty of remunerative potential cryptos in the market, since prices are still affordable,
it's a very appropriate time to invest. It's safe to diversify on such occasions as dips, probably the only best time of it all.
