Underperformed Functionality

The blockchain that Bitcoin uses is designed to handle seven transactions per second, and Ethereum can only handle a few more. In December of this year, a simple CryptoKitties application accounted for lots of network traffic jams on Ethereum and as traffic increased significantly, the transaction fees raised up dramatically. This is a clear example of its limitation on handling large amount of concurrent users makes itself less competitive compared to existing non-blockchain alternatives.

Good point, but honestly i'm still not understand. You said arcblock will solve to congestion ethereum traffic, but this token is ERC20 based right? Which is also using ethereum network. So where is the solution? Is arcblock will make their own blockchain?

As you know, there is now a pure blockchain project of the same platform as Bitcoin (1.0) and Ethereum (2.0), which is of great interest to the community. It's ArcBlock, Blockchain 3.0. Currently the project is still under development, website and community building, ANN thread just appeared on the BCT.

I don't think they will build a new blockchain, they will use new solutions like openchain, cloud-node ... to upgrade the current blockchain technology, create a friendly environment to reach and work with blockchain.

Where do all those ArcBlock threads come from? This is I think the 4th I've seen in a single day. What makes it so special? Probably a good pay to advertise it.

Even that tagline is misleading. It's not a new blockchain so how can it be called blockchain 3.0?

Yes it's very misleading, and also very weird these threads come out of nowhere  almost always from newbie accounts.

Yeah these new accounts' activities look a bit suspicious, still if this ArcBlock team really implemented what they claimed in their whitepaper, then it would be a huge improvement on the current blockchain tech, they're trying to connect up the existing blockchains to make a universal eco-system...if this happens, pretty much like uniting intranets into the world-wide-web in the 1990s.

so much discussion about arcblock, and much of them say that it's a scam. with various arguments and evidence that strengthens it but we can only wait for what will happen in the end.

Seems to be another way of creating awareness, discussion and research. Though it seems to be backfiring on all accounts given the reactions here.

ArcBlock is a very interesting project. On the one hand a strong team, roadmap and WP promises to create a strong technological project. On the other hand the last few days there are more reports of scams.. Although I think this is the machinations of competitors and ArcBlock will still fire and the token will fly to the moon!  8)
