Hi,
I want to put 100$ in crypto currencies every month. Which coins in general would you recommend for mid- to longterm investment? Which coin should I choose this month?
I already have some of these coins: Waves, VEN, SRAT, SNGLS, NEO, ICX, DBC.

Hi, you can invest into coin top 1 such as: ETC, NEO, DASH, ZEC, XRP,....
It very potential and today it very cheap. i believe it will grow in future.

first, you need to buy bitcoin only to buy altcoin you want. but I think if you can buy bitcoin only, then it is enough to go for a long-term investment because bitcoin price will increase higher than the price you buy now. altcoin you mention is good to be the investment but you need to analyze again so it will give a big profit for a long term. besides that, I am sure that if you analyze, you will find a good coin which not too many people invest in that coin so your profit will bigger in the future.

Buy ripple, now it has perspective.

The amount you buy will be quite low. If you get the bitcoin you will pay a lot of commission fees when transferring it.
We recommend that you invest in a coin that will not cost more than the transfer fee like dogecoin, waves instead of bitcoin :) and you can transfer it binance or bittrex to buy some altcoins :)

I think NEO could be the coin of your choice to put in $ 100 because the coin NEO already has a good price. but you need to choose a good coin because there are still many coins that have good potential to be invested with minimal capital.

Suggest you to go for altcoins less than $2 which has good potential like Stellar, Ripple and Cardano worth $50. With remaining $50 you can buy Ethereum, every month buy some ethereum coins in what you have since this coin is going to be the next bitcoin. There's a chance that ethereum would shoot up to $10000 within this year end and your investment aslo would shoot up x10 times, ethereum has low transaction fees compared to bitcoin and you could save lot of money when transferring to fiat.

NEO and waves can be good but when transferring your money to exchange try to not to loose so much money for fees

You did not mention Stellar? seriously? They have a strong community and very good development, you have to set aside some of your money to buy stellar

if you want every month is hard to stay in one coin, You should be able to see opportunities
i suggest you to buy bitcoin.. now bitcoin is correction suitable to entry. if you doubt for bitcoin, buy ethereum and ripple so cheap now.. hold till at least february you can get profit from there

You can just buy more coin that you like, you don't have to buy a new one. Just buy more waves or neo or whatever your favorite  coin is. The fee when sending coin is expensive nowdays so you should calculate first how much bitcoin / eth can you get with $100, so you can decide to buy now or accumulate until maybe $500 before buying the coin in one go.

Ethereum is your best bet right now!  Ether is going to rise at least 5 times this year and when I say 5 times,  I am only be modesty in my expectation.  So get right to it and but ether.  Compound interest should work for you as well if you continue investing!

Your choice of coins are good but I wonder why you do not have Etherium and Bitcoins, they are best coins. You can also add cardano, stellar, ripple, deeponion and/or oyster pearl. I think it would be better to observe the trends and watch for new and upcoming crypto on the market. Dividing the portfolionto ones with low correlation would be the best option. Cryptos are all bearing big risk so reducing it would be preferable.

Your strategy is very good "investing gradually". Because you only put $100 so my advice you have to buy coins with prices below 5k satoshi. Because coins at low prices have larger spreads than coins at high prices. So though you only use a little capital the opportunity to get big profits is very possible.

I of course fail because I have been making less and less money but in the end I am trying to save as much as possible, it could be 100 dollars or it could be 50 dollars it doesn't matter as long as you are capable of putting money into bitcoin and ethereum there is a huge chance that you will see profits rising in the future when bull run comes. If you get in all at once there is a huge chance you lose most of your money but if you get in 100 dollars (that number can change according to your money) that means all you have to do is wait for one time when bitcoin is high and sell them all.

It seems a good recommendation but I think the current price is a good entry level if OP prefer in a long term investments. I just hope that he will choose those quality coins that can easily bounce back when the market recovers.

Nobody would be able to recommend the "best" coins, because nobody knows what would happen with the crypto currencies prices within next days, months and years. Research each project and find great coins that you like.

Go for top 10 coins because you can afford the money so it will be easier for you to build good portfolio of good coins and tokens ,top 10 are the best for someone like you,unlike me I prefer top 100 because I can't afford to invest 100$ monthly so I go for ones at earlier stages around 0.01$ to 0.05 at highest

Better to spread out your investment on different coins. The profits might be lower, but the risks are also bought down. If you do make losses, it might get covered with the help of other coins you have invested on.

Crypto is still very speculative, especially when it comes to diversifying one's portfolio. There are many answers anyone could say like, Eth, Ltc, Neo, Eos, etc.. But the advantage of selecting only the coins in the top 50 is estimating who has best chance to survive the next decade of crypto.

There are some projects that are interesting nonetheless outside of the top 50, but every single Alt will have to wait for BTC to move, in order to have any bullish price action.

That being said (And i cant believe im saying this), BCHABC and maybe BCHSV are likely still going to be there. They both have about 1 Terahash on their networks and for those two forks to truly "die", both the interest of mining them, and the hashpower + equipment allocated would have to go to zero. I really hate the idea that these two coins are trying to compete with Bitcoin to overthrow it, but greed is fueling the market as much as the idea to decentralize finance.

I'm also in a similar position as yourself, as I'm just working with what I have in terms of income. Most of what I'm sharing is just to help position myself when the next bull run begins, but there's still a good chance the bear market is not over. If we find ourselves in a further downtrend, then the next capitulation is around the corner.

I fully agree with you. I also think that now the prices will go down again. There are certainly chances that the market will continue to grow, but judging by the schedule, this will not happen, except for some whale decides to buy coins.

I can't just out my money into a market i am not sure of. Yes, there are coins with great potentials, but not all. So you have to be careful of what to invest in.
